I was shopping for two unusual items and their assistance resulted in my purchasing. This store has figured out that if a customer walks in the door, they likely are looking for something to purchase. They also look at what the customer is doing. If wandering around, as I was, they probably need assistance. I'm impressed with how this Office Depot store has adjusted their internal operations to compete with online shopping. Customer service and immediate availability is the competitive advantage for physical stores.

When I picked up the orders the line was not really long however, there were enough customers there that called for another employee to help but the female was working by herself. I probably stood in line for 10 minutes waiting and I expected the employee to be friendly but I provided her with my last name she handed the copies over and there was no communication between the two of us. I paid $1.30 online for the two copies (thicker paper was used) so I did not have to pay when I went in there. I don't get copies made enough nor have I had anything specialized to know how they would do professionally.

They proceeded to take my phone into the back and came out 25 minutes later saying there was nothing they could it and that it was stuck. I then went to T-Mobile where they got it out for me for free and truly were concerned with my situation. Simply Mac does not care about anything other than money and I have tried to support this business but I will not be returning. A majority of the staff is friendly and the owner (I assume) is professional, yet nonchalant and unfriendly. Save yourself some time and look into alternative shops before you decide to come here.

I asked if I should leave my laptop with them while we wait and I was instructed not to do so. Fine. I come back in a week, I'm told the manager who orders parts was on vacation last week and just returned on Tuesday, and that I would have to wait another week. Fine. I wait another week. I call just to be told that not only will it be another week, but that things would've been Expedited had I left my laptop at the store. THEY HAVE NO ACTUAL CLUE ON WHEN THE PART WILL ARRIVE.
