Great little restaurant in downtown. There is street parking only but it wasn't hard to find. My friends and I went to try something new and the food was Phenomenal. We Started off with drinks and tapas. The drinks packed a nice punch and came out quickly. The tapas were potatoes bravada which consisted of small potatoes cut in squares and fried up with a bravada sauce which went perfectly on top with the crunchy outside and creamy inside of the potato. Next we tried the cod fish fritters which weren't my fave but for people that enjoy cod fish they were good. Crispy outside with cod fish and potato filling. Lastly for tapas we had the broccolini which was flash fried and super crispy almost making it hard to eat but the taste was very good. For main course we had paella for two and the steak and all shared. The paella takes awhile and we were told that so we enjoyed another round of drinks. When the paella came out it was the star of the table. The rice was cooked perfectly aldente and the seasoning and seafood was right on target. The steak was cooked medium and could melt in your mouth it was super tender and the sauce provided was amazing. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and the almond torte and the owner sent over the rest of the desserts for us to try. My fave was the mousse it was made with dark chocolate and had an amazing texture. The next dessert was the crème brulee which was extremely good the crunch on top was perfectly and the pudding itself was light and creamy. The almond torte was a bit dry but the homemade chocolate ice cream helped immensely as it was amazing and paired great with the torte. Came to ibiza kitchen after a friend's recommendation after moving to the area. We thought it was ok, food was not bad, but never really had a bad Spanish tapas experience. The parking was fairly easy to find, lots of street spots. We had made a reservation a few days prior without any issues. There is no service in the restaurant for AT&T users so just be aware of that. I had to use the wifi for work for a few mins and it was nice enough for the staff to share their wifi password. Ambiance was nice, classy, and dim lit. Service was ok I would say..i think the place is very focused on wine, which we did not order, so no one really paid attention to fill our water and we had empty water glasses for most of our dinner. The food was pretty decent, we always get potatas bravas at any Spanish tapas place and this was pretty standard. The menu was not too large but had a decent selection. The price though I thought was on the pricier side for the amount of food we got, even considering that it's Spanish tapas. read more

You're paying for Chappaqua's upper crust location and flavor.... not portions. And for that price, I thought I might see Hilary or Chelsea. Hubs came across an Ibiza article and since we enjoy Spanish food (Spain that is...not Puerto Rican, not Dominican or Cuban), he reserved for an early Mother's Day dinner. Restaurant is upbeat, has a nice airy, modern flair and on a rainy 6:30pm dinner, this seemed like the right place to be in. Peek-a-boo wall divides the bar on right with high stools from the dining area. We went for a red sangria pitcher right from the get-go that had a nice balance of taste and strength. Menu has Tapas and full dishes. But one quick glance at Tapas prices was an eye-opener. Hubs is a lot more comfortable with his wallet and overlooks dollar amount. I on the other hand, cringed at Ibiza's Tapas prices. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. We get our 'main' Parsley rice dish with seafood- and that too, was $35 AND small. Tasty though. While it is true that high-quality ingredients cost more, they shouldn't cost that much more. Our tapas were luxurious in taste and quality. I also get that small plate prices vary depending on ingredients used. But I beg your pardon- these tapas were at least $5, 6- even $7 MORE than NYC tapas. Service was top-level from everyone- beginning to end. Good things do come in small packages.... at a cost. But if I want to spend a little more than what I should for......tapas (or other items), it's going to be a while when I return. read more

Terrible acoustics - incredibly noisy on a Friday night. Food is excellent but overpriced for small portions

One of my former colleagues and I had been meaning to get together for a while, and our schedules finally aligned the other night so we decided to mark the occasion with some dinner. I left the decision of where to eat up to her, and she suggested Ibiza. I had never been here before, but since she had nothing but positive things to say about it, I got really excited to check out what Ibiza had to offer. Ibiza is located in the main commercial strip of Chappaqua. I had actually been to this space before years back when I used to work in the area; back then, it was called Chappaqua Tavern and from what I remembered, it was nothing special. Anyway, Ibiza completely redid the space and it looks great - it has a bright interior with clean lines and a lot of outdoor dining space in the front. Since it was such a nice night, we decided to dine al fresco. The menu contains Spanish cuisine - mostly made up of tapas with a few larger format dishes. We were told by our server that three to four tapas each would make up a full meal, which helped guide us when choosing what to eat. Ultimately, we decided to get the bravas, shrimp, nevat, tortilla, salmon, and the bimi. All of the food was delicious - my favorites were the shrimp which were served in this garlic-pepper reduction and plenty of bread to sop up the oil mmmm. The nevat was also good - this was kind of a goat cheese compound which was spread on top of crackers. I love goat cheese, so this was totally in my wheelhouse. The bimi, which was charred broccolini seasoned and served with a tasty sauce, was another standout - the flavor was awesome and a great elevation of typical broccolini. We decided to finish with tres leches - delicious and served with a lemony meringue top which cut through the richness of the cake. Service was great - all the food came out at a good pace, and they ordered it well so that it felt like a progressing meal. Everyone was very friendly too, making conversation with us and just generally very enthusiastic. Overall, I had a great experience at Ibiza - I wouldn't make this a go-to for me since it's not in my backyard, but if I lived in Chappaqua or the surrounding villages I would be here quite often. read more

Valentine's Day Dinner that was anything but romantic. There were several times that I wanted to walk out because that's how awful our service was. The restaurant was clearly overwhelmed and the staff seemed to be in a state of chaos for nothing, because I didn't see a lot of food coming out of the kitchen. Now I get that restaurants are going to be extra busy on holidays, but that's not an excuse to essentially neglect your guests. Not a single soul came up to us to apologize about the speed in which dishes were coming out, their lack of attentiveness, etc. The paella (which wasn't really that flavorful sadly at $40pp) took over 90 minutes to come out. No one came to check on us or ask if we wanted another drink, which we would've liked because we did enjoy the sangria. We received the wrong order for one of our tapas, and when I finally got a waiter's attention again no apologies or offers to correct it. And they didn't take what we actually ordered off the bill. Everything was way overpriced and not worth it. The icing on the cake was that they conveniently *just* changed their menu so what was on their website didn't match what we were presented with on the menu. Honestly if you want tapas, save yourself the stress and go to Barcelona in Stamford or Norwalk. read more

Very cute restaurant with casual outdoor seating (tables and chairs along a spacious sidewalk) . We are in the area and decided to try their tapas. We enjoyed the shrimps a lot. The octopus,mushrooms and mussels are not bad. Serving size could have been better. Cappuccino was very good though served in a tiny cup. Same was for the coffee. Bread pudding with strawberry sauce and goat cheese cream dessert, good for one person, was excellent . Seems to be a casual spot for the locals. I really wanted to love this place. The service was great. The decor was great. The food was on par with what you'd expect for Tapas. But, the prices are simply outrageous for what you get. Having recently been to Spain and a frequent visitor to Boqueria in Flatiron and to Basque in Piermont, I can say these portions are tiny. Tapas are meant to be small, but these portions are the smallest I've seen at an Tapas place I've ever been to, and I've been to dozens. The Gambas were $18 for 4-5 shrimp. The bravas was $11 for 2/3 of one potato at most. And, no, this was not haute cuisine, this was basic garlic shrimp and fried potatoes. The salad was the only thing of decent size. You need 3-4 tapas per person to feel satisfied here. 2 in Boqueria, 2 at Basque. And no, being in Chappaqua, across from the train station, doesn't justify this pricing. This isn't The Inn at Pound Ridge. If you're craving Tapas, do yourself a favor and go over the bridge to Basque. It's nice too and service is great. I didn't because they don't take reservations for small parties and I didn't want to take a chance of a long wait. read more

Amazing dishes and incredible service in a lovely restaurant. This was one of the first places my family and I had the pleasure of eating at during Covid. Some of our favorites were the Fideua, the paella, scallops and their mushroom appetizer. The staff took all necessary precautions while creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We were eating outside and it started to downpour, and their staff rushed to make sure we got inside with our belongings. Once we were inside, the owner Ignacio, took such great care of us. Everyone was beyond accommodating and making sure we were comfortable. We sat at the bar and he brought us some croquetas (which were delicious) and poured us some wine to make up for the food that was rained on. He then brought us a very tasty mango drink three desserts on the house (which he definitely didn't have to do!) All of the desserts were fantastic, especially the Crème brûlée. We were truly blown away by the exceptional customer service. If you want to support a local business- make sure this restaurant is on your list! Made the mistake of celebrating a family milestone at this place, party of 10. No food after more than hour of sitting down. Service super slow. Appetizers didn't all come at the same time then was told they ran out of something that half our table ordered. And they didn't take off the bill. Server never asked if we needed a drink refill cocktails or even water. Mains tasted average at best. Saw manager checking in with other patrons to make sure everything is going well but not with our party. Never again. Awful experience. read more

So the food was actually pretty good, no major complaints. But let me tell you about the bill. We ordered a bit more than $300 worth of food between us. But the bill showed more than $400. There were several dishes that were listed on the bill and then deducted as "manager comp". So those dishes were not counted in the final total. Mind you, we never received those items, they were just added and then subtracted from the bill. Now here's the trick: when you pay by credit card they hand you the machine with a selection of tip options and then stand there while you choose a tip. And the tip choices are large buttons that say 20% and 25%, as well as a custom option. But look carefully, because it turns out that the tip percentage was based on the un-discounted price. So all those dishes that we never ordered counted towards the tip. Meaning that a tip which should have been $68 ended up being $85. Pretty sneaky, Ibiza! What a disappointment from the moment we walked in. We got seated, my husband and father went to the bar to buy a quick shot. They waited 5 mins and they had to beg for attention from the bartender. They were blatantly ignored. They got their shots and came back. We waited another 10 minutes just to be greeted. We then ordered drinks and waited another 10 mins for those. Thank god we order our food at the same time as drinks since it was late and we were hungry. Now, here my 4 main complaints of the evening 1. Slowest service ever - explained above. Good thing I didn't want another drink either because no one at the table was offered 2. Portion size was TINY. Especially for the prices. The ceviche, I know, was a Tapa, a small plate, but for $14 my husband counted 6 pieces of actual fish. Addition about the food - do NOT order the ribs. The sauce was oddly on the side and the sauce literally tasted like ketchup and mayonnaise. The potato pear purée was a fail as well. 3. My fathers chicken came out and was COLD. The staff explained to us that the veggies the chicken was served with was supposed to be cold but the chicken itself was cold. My dad absolutely never complains and he was upset 4. My brother in laws dish came out after we were ALL done eating. We basically watched him eat lol Overall, bad experience. If you go out and spend $300+, you expect a decent meal. This was such a disappointment. We expressed our disappointment and no one really seemed to care. Oh well. Here's a warning to all of you! The restaurant wasn't even full. Many have been good but IBIZA is the only one that has been truly outstanding! The food is out of this world & the presentation is very beautiful. We came for the duck. It was perfect. Cooked just as we ordered, medium rare It was sweet, tender and juicy. The presentation was very appealing. The service was warm and welcoming. This place is seriously the best Chappaqua has to offer, and one of my favorites across Westchester County. They have some unique offerings that I can't find in other restaurants around the area, and the dishes pack a ton of flavor. The portobello mushroom carpaccio dish is not only very interesting, but absolutely delicious with layers of flavor, highly recommended to share with a group as it is delicate but rich. The tuna with crispy rice is amazing if you are a fan of tuna tartare with a nice spin on it. Also had the cauliflower mango tapas thingy that was just bursting with flavor and freshness. My table usually gets the sea bass but had a halibut special which was executed perfectly. Both dishes highly recommend. I personally always get the burger and order it medium, which translate to the chef as cook it perfectly. One of the best burgers I've had and the side of potato bravas with a garlic aioli and spicy sauce double drizzle the entire table ended up picking at. For dessert, I've had the bread pudding which is a phenomenal blend of flavors, where they give you a strawberry foam and pistachio ice cream, but the tres leches cake which our server gave to our table with a lemon type sauce on it was the perfect balance to cut through the cake. I forgot to mention the drinks, but I've only had the margarita here as my table ordered rose. I approve of the margarita and it's all I drink when I decide to drink. Please check this place out as it wasn't that crowded, and I did not see much take out which was baffling to me. This is so much better than the French place that has been there since I was in middle school. I promise you will not regret it, these people know how to create divine flavors and be creative in their offerings. The food is simply incredible. We started with a hibiscus cosmo and a blood orange Manhattan for cocktails. The Sardines are in season right now - so plump, creamy and flavorful. The wine list by the glass is unique. And, as others have mentioned, be sure to save room for the bread pudding with strawberry foam and pistachio ice cream. The space is beautiful, the chairs are comfortable and I wanted to love it, but like all the other restaurants that have been in that location on King Street it comes up short. The good: Shrimp Ajillo had good flavor and eye appeal. The Goat cheese flat bread was tasty and i liked the fruit salsa on top. The bad: Almost everything else. The Signature spicy margarita used overly sweet mix and infused vodka, the empanadas were in Phyllo and tasteless, the Pulpo which was well presented had 0 taste, the ribs were dry and the sauce that came on the side didn't work with the flavor. Overall, I would love a great Spanish restaurant but this needs a lot of work. read more
