Yogurt in smallest cup size(12oz)
Amy M.

Yummy yogurt :)! This place was a cute find right next to the Cat Lounge in Martinez. The plaza is pretty generous with parking and there is a lot to do in the area, so it makes for a perfect dessert after the movies(across the street), shopping or just eating out. The inside is small but allows for small groups of 2-4. Not much seating inside though, but there are areas to sit outside as well. The employees are very welcoming and nice, they also maintain the cleanliness of the establishment quite well. The flavors are pretty food whatever you choose to go for! Not too sweet, and definitely still delicious. Lots of toppings to choose from too! More dry toppings though, so you won't find as many jellies, popping bobas, and fruits. Definitely more than you'd find at your typical frozen yogurt place. It can be quite pricey compared to most places, my 12oz cup was around $8-10. Overall though, great place to drop by for frozen yogurt!

Suds from yogurt

I visited this location on Friday, 7/25 and purchased a regular cup of original tart to-go. I stored it in the freezer and had a few spoonfuls later that evening. Immediately, I noticed an overpowering soapy taste, but I assumed it might just be the flavor profile and kept eating. Not long after, I began feeling extremely nauseous. Two days later, I went to discard the rest. When I ran water over the frozen yogurt to melt it down, it started foaming and released a strong chemical odor. It was immediately clear that some sort of cleaning agent had contaminated the yogurt. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health risk. There is no excuse for food to be served with potential chemical residue. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate their cleaning protocols before someone else gets sick.

I loved the different flavors they have compared to the FroYo place in Benicia. I had watermelon, pistachio and pecan praline. All of these were good. There was no line so service was quick. The decor was a bit old school but there was spacious amount to hang out. The only thing missing was cherries on my froyo.

Bailey and agi are the only reason I go. They are great hard working people that give great service and help make great food. They make it feel like a good environment and I like going there when they are working. I don't like how loud it is though.

Quiet place but very friendly staff and a wide selection of topping! They had a crème brûlée yogurt which I had never seen at any yogurt spot before! Don't sleep on the this place! My almost 2 year old had a good time as well! Also has a few outside seating.

Half dole whip half vanilla with toppings!

Super cute froyo shop in the Nob Hill shopping center! The place was empty when I got there but super clean. They had a pretty good selection of yogurt flavors (including dole whip!) and toppings. I went for gummy bears, strawberry popping boba, and snowcaps. They also had a LOT of sauces but that's not my style. I'm guessing this place gets busier as the weather gets warmer, but the one girl working had it handled. Will definitely come back for my froyo fix!

Good to know this small business is still running. Their frozen yogurt prices are pretty standard and there's a rotation of yogurt flavors. The toppings are always fresh and stay stocked.

Lots of dry toppings and fun sauces to chose from

Absolutely the best way to cool down! I was thrilled to discover Ice Monster in Walnut Creek! Not only can I get an authentic Taiwanese shaved ice, but they have an incredible variety of ice flavors (strawberry, mango, green tea, etc) and toppings. They also have boba tea (which also originated in Taiwan), milk tea, regular ice cream, freshly cooked Chinese finger foods, and more. The place has tables inside and out and is always immaculate. I also really appreciate that they don't add the problem of landfills overflowing with plastics! They use real dishes and real silverware. I don't know of any other place that conscientious. I have been going here for 8 years. It was started by a couple from Taiwan and the owners the last several years are from China. They keep the place open seven days a week, but even with that grueling work schedule, the customer service is always fantastic. They go out of their way to keep their customers happy. Apparently, I'm not the only one who loves the place, because when school gets out, the place is filled with teenagers and families with children. It's a great place to hang out. I've tried other places in the East Bay, but this is my absolute favorite place for Chinese shaved ice, boba tea, and other yummy foods. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The drive thru location has been hit or miss for me. The cookies and cream and mint chip were usually the safe bets. Flavor was there, though there was one time the cookies and cream consistency had some icy chunks. The latest mint chip was the one that was disappointing. It tasted old with random bites that had a slimy texture, like it wasn't mixed well. Makes me wonder about the quality control - how well the ice cream is made and often they change out their ice cream. Service has usually been friendly enough, but I've had better ice cream experiences in their other indoor ice cream shop. Hope the quality improves in this location!

I saved O Briens on my go to list and today was a best opportunity to finally try it . My Waze got me there just hard finding exactly where it is when you make the final turn because it's so tiny of a place. It's the size of a cafina drive thru. There is only like one arrow in the asphalt pavement to guide you which way the pull-up ordering window. Young lady working was very helpful seemed joyful to work there . I told her what flavor and size and it was so simple and fast no one in front of me . Winter time , guessing during peak summer and hot day this place must get busy. Across the street is (SAFEWAY) anyways the ice cream it tasted like ice cream from the store to me. But then again I ordered something simple without toppings. Overpriced at $6 but that's life these days. The pricy menu is a negative . I don't pipe fire it 5 stars if the prices are more adequate for the quality . I had to ask for napkins too but the service and speed made up for any nuisances.

The gal that worked there just didn't seem like she liked her job that much. She didn't smile then when she took my order for my ice cream, which was going to be coffee ice cream with three toppings in it, she barely mixed it together! She flipped it over once and then stuffed it in the cup leaving so much topping (that I was paying extra for!!) on the counter! So I said politely, "you're gonna give me that topping right" and she was like " oh ok" and then she like smushed it on the top like I was at a yogurt shop or something!!! But she STILL left stuff on the cold stone counter. I'm paying for those toppings!!! I want every last one of them. Im paying extra for each topping plus there's hardly any extra topping given so you're getting a lot of extra money from me!! I don't know. Then she had the nerve to say when I was about to pay " the screens gonna ask you some questions " . Why would I give her a tip? I'm getting so sick of these tips anyway. I'm like-- enough already! I'm coming into the store to get ice cream that's your job. Why am I paying you to do your job? Especially when you're ripping me off and not giving me my proper number of turns to fold the topping into the ice cream and then leaving my toppings on the counter! I was just really disappointed and I think I'll just go to Coco swirl across the street from now on because if I'm gonna have my ice cream with the topping on top, I might as well put my own topping on my yogurt. I was just looking at the pictures and was reminded that it didn't even seem like I was given a full medium serving of ice cream because as you can see it was low and then the toppings are on top such a bad experience.
