One of my favorite moving companies. Amazing at their job. I was moving and I didn't know how to move my big furnitures. They were very sweet guys and did their job really nicely. None of my furniture got any scratches or any damages. I recommend this place to everyone. They were very friendly. They were also very affordable and had great deals. A friend of mine used Ian to move into her new home and had only great things to say about the company. So i have Ian a call and his crew was at my office 24hrs later. I was already happy with Ian for being able to help me on such notice, but there was plenty of things that added up to a successful move. All my computers were handled with care. Thankfully there wasn't a scratch on my $3500 desk either. Ian's crew was friendly and listened to my concerns due to the expensive equipment that was about to take a trip. Their movers are extremely efficient and well prepared for people like me who have never had movers. They took apart furniture and reassembled it all once in my new apartment. Who wants to damage their refrigerator with an arrogant rushing amateur , it could cost you 1k or more. I called Ian 24 hours before I needed my move done and from start to finish this guy was pure genius. This is not moving it's an engineering calculated science for this guy. He is brilliant and it shows in the ease in which he can manuevor something extremely large like a heavy Refrigerator from Pt A to Pt B. This guy actually makes moving Los Angeles refrigerators fun! So many friends said to me "Bro I can move a Fridge, I can do this or that easily". The bottom line is It's not at all about strength boys, it's all in the technique of wrapping, lifting at specific angles and moving in control patiently up and down stairs. I'm updating to 4 stars because they wanted to make things right with me, which shows there's some level of customer service. I still don't understand why they didn't want to make things right the day of the move (the mover had called the company to tell them my complaints day of and ask for some form of compensation, told me not to call them directly), but at least there was some follow through. I wish they had gotten it right the first time and had offered adequate compensation before I had to write a 3 star review, but it happens. I had a great experience with this moving company today! I moved 5.5 miles, and the two men assisting me with the move took a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete it. There were a few items that I did not have packed yet because I was behind schedule, but the movers assisted me in getting the boxes packed and taped up! This was my first time ever using a moving company, and I was surprised to see how fast my items were loaded onto the truck and unloaded into my new apartment. I needed help moving a fridge and sectional couch from several different locations and upon reading Ian's Yelp reviews I felt that he was the best choice. Ian showed up on time as planned and wrapped my fridge carefully with blankets and shrink wrap material, belted it to a dolly and carefully brought it down the stairs and load it onto his truck. As we move from location to location he already had all the addresses mapped out on his mobile phone so I didn't have to remind him where to go. The fridge was an "easy move" for him. I don't even want to imagine how long it would have taken me to move it up and down the stairs. Once he placed the fridge in my apartment he advised me not to plug it in yet due to fluids that would move around during the move. Thank goodness he knew that because there was no way I would have known that. My couch unfortunately was not an easy move into my apartment. He removed the bottom legs of the couch (he came prepared with power tools!) and the door frame was too tight so Ian removed the bottom part of the door frame to create an extra inch of space. Ian and my boyfriend tried so many different angles and option to bring the couch in and I was seriously amazed at his patience and care to not cause any damage to my couch. It took them over half an hour before finally the couch magically slid in. He put the legs back on my couch, vacuumned up the mess the door frame made with the broken splinters. As most my Yelp posts always has, here are the pros and cons: Pros: - On time, reliable, prepared - Experienced - Great with logistics - Patient - Easy going - Affordable prices (it's all listed on his website, no hidden fees) - Takes great care of your appliance/furniture Cons: - None.
