You never know the prices because you can look it up online but there is always a huge scale depending on the level of stylist you get and there are just a ton of unknown factors involved. What "type" of hair do they work with most? What is the theme of the salon? I recently moved and was way overdue for a hair cut...seriously even one of my dearest friends told me to lose the bun on top of my head! hahahahaha that has become my go-to style out of sheer laziness. I decided that this salon looked decent enough from the outside as I passed a couple times so I did a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get right in for a haircut and eyebrow wax. The ladies were friendly and I was offered a hot beverage which was very nicely served in a glass mug....that is a great thing. There was a nice exposed brick wall and lovely light fixtures as well as comfortable hair shampoo stations. My stylist Ashley was easy to talk to and she listened to me and offered her expert opinion and advice and we proceeded to take approx three inches of hair off and then for the first time in my life the stylist actually styled my hair exactly how I would if I had any skills at all. I loved this about her... so often I have left the salon not feeling like myself and waiting to just wash and do my hair myself to see how the cut really came out. Nope---Ashley did an amazing job and made me feel fresh and frisky again! My brows still need some help she cleaned them up with what she had to work with but I need to find a lady that is top-notch shaping artist to get them how I would like them....

When you find something that works, you stick with it so I'll keep coming back. This salon is so cute, located in downtown Hudson. I would call it a higher end salon that isn't pretentious. It has a bit of a small town feel. It is also an Aveda salon which I love. Aveda products FTW! It's a very comfortable, welcoming place. They are taking good precautions during the pandemic too by taking temperatures and requiring masks. Five stars from this happy customer.

I did not get any pricing quote prior to my payment. I still had to pay $250 with little to no change in my hair color. While getting my hair washed, Nan bashed my thick hair multiple times. She even asked if I used shampoo and conditioner from target (I use Kevin.Murphy). After my wash she made me BRUSH MY OWN HAIR after she was inconsiderate and made it snarly. She put in my toner and told me she would return in 15 minutes. I did not see her until 30 minutes later, and I felt unvalued and unwelcome at her salon. I personally felt she was cutting corners and manipulating me due to my age and it being my first visit at Your Hair Mob. I was far from impressed, and will not be suggesting this salon.
