I love the job they did on my nails! This was my first time getting service there. I called in for an appointment at the last minute around 1: 20 because my usual place was busy, and they said that they had availability. I got a gel pedicure, gel fill in, eyebrow, and lip wax. All of the services I got were done very well. The prices are also very affordable. But what I love the most is they get you in and out. I got all of my services done and was out of there in a hour! I am very finicky about where I get my nails done. In my experience most places rush, and don't do a good job. I did some research and decided to give this place a shot because overall they have good reviews. I am glad I did. I had Tee and she did an AMAZING job. I came in there about 45 minutes before they closed, so I was expecting rushed service. But no, they offered me water, and I waited about 25 minutes, which wasn't a big deal. By this time, it was closing time, and I was SURE Tee would rush, but she didn't. I got a full set with gel polish and she was very through. She even asked if I wanted a pedicure, most places don't offer extra services at closing time!! She made sure my nails were shaped nearly perfect and she polished them well. She took her time. Two weeks ago I decided to try out this place since I just moved from California and had never been anywhere else. I went for the gel nails and pedicure. Everything was great, 2 days ago I decided to go again and sadly it wasn't as amazing as the first time. My gel nails have peeled off on certain nails after just 2 days. My pedicure is still perfect but my nails make me a little sad. I spent about an hour an a half to get my service, payed 48 dollars, and it makes me regret it. Overall good service. I did have to return the following day after getting a gel pedicure because my polish was chipped by morning. They didn't give me a hard time. I use to go to this nail shop two years ago but I stopped because I kept getting this guy who gave awful Pedicures. However, this is the first shop that introduced me to SNS. I have been shop bouncing for a year and some of these shops can't do nails, do thick sloppy SNS and have horrible customer service. Well I decided to go back to the first shop I ever went to in Stockbridge and I can say they welcomed me home. When I arrived I was given a warm greeting and welcomed in! My nail tech was My and she was super sweet. She listened to me and gave me thin but sturdy SNS nails. She cut down and shaped them beautifully. I mean perfection! Then she talked me into getting a upgraded sea salt, hot stone pedicure. I was skeptical bc i didn't know if the person doing it would be worth it. Boy was I wrong, Kevin gave me the BEST pedicure I have had in years! He took his time and cleaned my nails, massaged w/sea salt, massaged with some type of rub, removed calluses, covered my legs and feet with hot towels, then massaged with hot stones and finished off with a lotion massage. WOW! Both techs checked in with me while they worked. They didn't rush and were professionals with great service. My gave me water when I arrived and I got to watch a really good movie. Lena did my nails 1st of all she use the wrong polish! The other lady told her, not to use that! She took half of polish off with drill then repainted! My nails were fat thick looked like my niece painted them! Then she tells me I have to come back in the morning after u fucked up my nails! I was pissed off! We leaving the other lady asked, was I happy she looked at them they were a mess! She tried to redo the lasted about 3 days then starting chipping and chipping! This is my favorite nail salon that I have to been to. They keep everything very sanitary. They dont reuse the utinsules and they put plastic bags over the pedicure tub. They also give you a bottle of water and welcome yourself to lollipops and mints. They do waxing, manicure, pedicure, eyelash extensions, and eyebrows. One of the best nail salons I've been to in a long time, regardless of the 3 star rating, I shall explain. I went this past Sunday, around 4:30-4:45pm, and they close at 5pm. I appreciate they took me, even though they were closing soon. They seemed genuinely polite and professional. And their salon is clean and lovely. For $60 I got a SNS manicure and pedicure. If I had anything to say negatively I would say, there wasn't much pampering to my feet or hands for it to be called a mani/pedi. My cuticles were cleaned and foot was soaked but no massage, lotion, oil or scrub happened or was used of any kind. Now I know they were about to close, so maybe that's why. Iam just saying for that amount of money there should have been something else. The gentleman doing my manicure seemed slightly annoyed when I was questioning his technique, so he redirected my attention to the woman doing my feet. Didn't really appreciate that. On closer examination after I left both thumbnails weren't glued to the tips properly. Also four of my toes didn't have enough of a coat on them and you could see through to my nails. After a few days the pinky toes coat was coming off as well. I normally can wear my pedicure up to a month before having it done again. But I ended up having to go back to my usual place to get it fixed after this. All in all I still stand by them being one of the best places to go for nice work, ok pricing and lovely atmosphere. Just make sure you go earlier not when their trying to clean up to go home. read more

I initially found out about I Luv Nails via Yelp and decided to give them a try due to many of the positive reviews posted. I visited the salon a total of 2 times. The first time was wonderful. Bebe serviced my feet, while another gentleman tended to my fingernails. Bebe was super nice and even gave me a bottle of lotion for being a first time customer. Needless to say, my initial visit was definitely a five star experience. My second visit, however, was far from it. The manicurist did a very poor job on the design I wanted, which included a very modest rhinestone design as well as the very popular "coffin shape" for my nails. They then proceeded to charge me almost $10 extra for the cheap rhinestones and shape that didn't even remotely resemble the design that I showed her on my phone. I relayed this sentiment to her after which she proceeded to get an attitude and stormed off, yelling in their language, and obviously gearing it towards me in a negative tone. To say I was ripped off would be a particularly huge understatement. I have not returned to that salon since and will never do so ever again in the future. I have also informed friends and family to do the same, and never give that salon their business. They have also informed their friends not to do so as well. They have horrible attitudes and overcharge for the simplest nail designs. read more

I Luv Nails at first glance gives the impression that it is a well established professional business, this is far from the truth. I found that each nail tech skills were very mediocre lacking the expertise that most modern nail salon exhibits, also my dealings w/ the favored nail tech "Tracy" was the exact opposite of the claims that had been mentioned in previous reviews about her. I found Tracy to be very condescending, manipulative and rude, she tries to fast talk you into accepting ridiculous up charges for services that doesn't make sense when she's called on this she quickly dismisses you and move on to the next victim. RATINGS ***Pedicure rating ( 2 stars ) The nail tech movement and skills was very inconsistent I was also cut multiple times which isn't acceptable the pedicure was very rushed and unpleasant. ***Manicure / Full set gel nails (1 star ) The nail tech was unprofessional she speed through the process as if she wanted me to get out of her seat, the vibes that she gave wasn't welcoming or pleasant. I had to point out multiple times unfinished work, uneven nails and unsmooth surfaces on my nails..! Her response was "I'll fix later" and my response was uh.. no I would prefer you fix it now..! *** Overall customer service rating ( 1 Star ) *** Cleanliness rating *excluding the nasty attitudes that I had to experience was ( 4 stars ) Maybe I'm use to experiencing for the most part thorough good services ... Or maybe I'm just not comfortable w/ knowing that businesses offer bad services and are never reprimanded.
