I just finished getting a fill-in from Dylan and a pedicure from Lee at Glamour nail bar. I was a walk-in, but I still got VIP service and I must say this was the most relaxing experience of my entire weekend trip! The service was exceptional, the shop was clean, and the two technicians that worked on my hands and feet were very personable so I will be back. read more

I've been coming here for nearly a year, getting pedicures from Tina and nails done by Peter. While service has usually been okay, my last visit will be my final one. On 8/5/2025, I got a pedicure and fill-in. Within days, my gel polish started chipping--first one nail, then five. I returned on 8/9/2025 to have them repainted, and the experience was outright disappointing. I was told to check in and return after 50 minutes. Upon coming back, I had to explain to multiple staff members - including the manager - that the polish hadn't dried properly and was peeling. Instead of listening, they questioned why I wanted all nails repainted and even tried to charge me again, despite the issue clearly being a result of poor application. I remained calm and respectful, but each person I spoke to was dismissive and rude. The manager walked away mid-conversation and told the tech to "just do it." Peter, who had previously shaped my nails perfectly, reshaped them unevenly and gave me sloppy French tips. He didn't acknowledge me when I thanked him and seemed upset the entire time. To make matters worse, my nails started peeling again the very next day. Advice to the salon: * Stop diluting your polish with chemicals--just open a fresh bottle. * Don't file the nail after painting; it causes peeling. * Most importantly, fix your attitudes and take accountability when your work doesn't meet the standard. I've spent hundreds here over the past year, but I won't be spending another dollar. read more

I asked to get milky white on my toes and hands, and I was getting a full set on my fingers, for some reason, the nail tech who put my acrylic on decided to use a pink color acrylic. Because she did this, my fingers cannot come out Milky White. Not only that, but if I try to come back and get my nails done most of all the colors that I want to get would look wrong because she for some reason again put a pink color acrylic on my nail that I did not ask for. As she was doing my nails, I saw other nail tech coming over and basically talking to her telling her she shouldn't have done a nude pink as the acrylic and that's why my nails were not coming out right and not matching my toes I brought this to the attention of the manager and I asked him if when I come back, they would not charge me to get this acrylic taken off because she did it wrong and I didn't ask for a pink color acrylic. Instead, the manager blamed me and stated I should've known that she was putting an acrylic pink color on my nails and should've alerted her that wouldn't look right with milky white. I've never had a nail tech put a color Acrylic on my nail when getting a full set especially with a light white. They usually only do clear so I was truthfully unaware of what she was doing. When she put it on. I did mention that it looked a little pink, but she kind of ignored me. Instead of the manager fixing the situation and maybe putting a $10 credit on my account he's lost a customer forever and I'm going to file a complaint against the salon because this isn't right. It's not hard to do right by your customers, and when you make a mistake, you should own up to it and take care of the problem, especially when it would only cost you apparently $10 just to soak the acrylic off my nails when I come back for free. I think it's really crappy to blame me for not knowing about the color acrylic and not taking care of the issue. I asked to speak to an owner or a higher manager he stated the owners never come in and he was the highest manager - stated his name was Jason I just wanted to be clear. I never asked them to take off any money for my nail services for the day. I just asked I wouldn't be charged to have the acrylic soaked off and I was told I would still need to pay the $10 even though they made the mistake. I want to state I believe Lisa did my toes and they were very pretty. read more

I've been in McDonough for almost 2 years now and finding a decent nail salon has been tiresome. I stumbled across glamour nail bar on Instagram and let me tell you...!!! I've been a patron for a few months now and have enjoyed regular manicure, full sets, fill-ins and a few pedicure options. Did I mention every nail tech has broad skills & their designs have range! Whether you want foil, gems, overlays, or the new trends...everyone is trained and highly recommended! Lucia is my fav but I've enjoyed everyone I've had thus far. When Lucia is booked, Nathan is my next go-to for great as well for designs. When I'm need of repairs, Jason gets me together every time! He's really good at replicating work! Kevin is good for pedicures. Oh did I mention they offer drink refreshments? Yep! 5 star service in a well cleaned environment and lovely staff! Let me know what you think. read more

Great atmosphere and some very skilled nail techs. The retention on my nails is ridiculously long! I have not managed to break a nail since getting my nails done here. I went in to get a gel pedicure and ended up to a toenail fungal infection. I explained to the manager, Jason, what happened and showed him the receipt for the day I got my pedicure. He didn't offer one apology or offer to investigate how this could have happened. I even went as far to show him my diagnosis from my podiatrist and all he said was " If you can't prove the infection came from us, we are not responsible. We don't do refunds only gift cards." It's incomprehensible to think someone would ever return to a place that had given them an infection that can take up to a year to cure. This place had good reviews for the most part but don't overlook the bad reviews and end up like me! read more

Don't waste your time coming here! I thought I found a gem but I was wrong, I went as I normally do on Saturday morning & was told the gentleman I normally go to was out the country for a month. I should've had enough sense then to leave but I drove about 25 mins so I decided to go forward with my services. One gentleman does my feet & then proceeds to do my nails as well. At this point I'm shocked because I've never seen him do nails only feet. I get the SNS dip. That night my nails crack & one breaks. I return the very next morning to have my nails fixed. The lady manager tells me to sign in. After about 20 mins or so I finally ask what's taking so long? She tells me (very rudely) that it's first come first serve & I will be serviced in the order of my check in. At this point I'm pissed because I paid $90 the day before including tip & I shouldn't be back less than 24 hrs with chipped & broken nails. After explaining that to her she completely ignore what I was saying & continued with her work. They lack good customer service & I defiantly won't be back & you shouldn't either. read more

The Bar is very clean for one and I love the quality work they provide. I initially came last month and nails (SNS) held up perfectly, no chips, polish did not come off. I came today for a fill in and was amazed how gentle the tech was with removing the powder and my actual nails were strong and healthy. Definitely recommend Glamour Nail Bar. read more

6/22/23 I came for an SNS appointment made with SY but was provided service by Van. By end of the day one nail cracked in the middle and by 6/24/23 four of my nails started to chip. 6/25/23 I came in to have the SNS removed due to the chipping and requested a different color due to being unsure of the brand the color was from or if it was Van's process of applying the dip. After waiting 30 mins (I got there at 11:57 by the way and the 3rd person to sign in) the male manager finally greeted me and said no charge if using the same color to fix nails. The problem is I wanted all the nails soaked off due to four had already chipped in less than 3 days. Common sense to me is if 4 nails have chipped the other 6 will as well...therefore REDO the SNS REGARDLESS of color with no charge. He then walked away without a word and 5 or so mins later the female manager comes and asked me what the problem was. By now I've told 4 different ppl the issue. Although she was more pleasant than the male she did reiterated there would be a charge if color is changed but she would take a percentage off. End result...after a 2 1/2 hr long visit nails redone for $32 dollars for a $40 service. I will go back to searching for local nail salons that provides consistent grade A service and treat their customers well. This area no matter new or old lack those 2 things mentioned. If Im going to pay $72 dollars in 3 days for nails then I might as well put that extra in my tank and find a salon that is much better. If I was treated like my service mattered I probably would not have posted this but because I returned with an issue I was disregarded for 30 to 40 mins and treated like the problem. SNS is suppose to last at-least 14 days...mine not even 3 but was charged for the redo. The audacity. Customers coming to the salon is not built off ppl driving through the parking lot. Its built by word of mouth and advertising. Im asked consistently where do I get my nails done...well Ill tell them where not to go. One customer walked out when they overheard my concerns. This place is very hit or miss. It really just depends on who you get. Today, I wanted designs on all nails so I asked for a tech that was good with that and they assigned one - halfway through doing my nails - she told me that she wouldn't be able to do the design because she has an appointment. The tech they replaced her with did one of my hands perfectly, but rushed through the other hand and it doesn't look the same at all. When I asked for one of the designs nails to be done over - I was just told that I would need to wait 40 mins or come back tomorrow. And I heard another tech state that I must have OCD. Im sure he said much more about me in whatever language he was speaking, but I can definitely comprehend OCD. I'll never be back. And if you like your nails have any sorts of designs and don't want to be talked about while getting your nails done, leave this place alone. read more

Left there today very upset. The manager and nail tech (male) were very rude. Was asking questioning, when I would pick my design or color quick enough alot of heavy breathing and saying "Dont mess up my work" Meanwhile he hasnt even putting the acrylic on all my nails. I showed the manager that one of my toe nails was cut on a slant. Instead of offering to have it filed down. He gave me the old school "thats your toe nail!" and walks away. I then went to the counter and told him that should not have been your response, he then offered to file it down , at that point I was ready to go and I declined. Needless to say I left there with not even a top coat on my nails ;paid $100 (includes the amazing pedicure.). I have been there before like 3 times but Ive never been on a Tuesday. OMG! I thought I was in an L.A. nail bar on Rodeo Dr. with McDonough, GA prices! Approaching the entrance doesn't immediately "wow" you until you open the door and realize you're on your way to sitting in the lap of luxury. Upon being warmly greeted, I digitally registered to become a rewards member and was immediately escorted to a table for my SNS soak off and prep. Upon being seated, I was graciously offered water, soda, or wine. Can we all say, "IMPRESSED?!" After completing my soak off, I was then escorted to a pedicure chair that looked like a pilot's seat with every accommodation I needed to melt into relaxation. Several large flat screens are strategically placed throughout the nail bar allowing positional entertainment no matter the service. When selecting my color, I was presented with a leather-bound "Nail Look Book" which made my selection easier to reach. The SNS nail tech, Ky, followed me to the 'pedicure throne' and consulted my preferences prior to starting. My nails are PERFECTION! The pedicurist, Amy, already had the water prepped and bubbling upon my arrival to her area. My feet are PERFECTION! Each secured my footwear and bag within eyeshot as not to interfere with my lavish experience. Once I reviewed the menu, I was stunned by the reasonable prices. This is the sort of place you and your brunch crew should visit after consuming some awesome food & drinks or maybe a bride-to-be along with her party. I HIGHLY recommend Glamour Nail Bar of McDonough to satisfy your beautification needs. read more
