Workers are not licensed and have not received proper training or education!!!! I saw Georgia State Board come in for an Inspection due to massive complaints! I was sitting on the sofa in front waiting to be seen for my appointment as a first time client...I'd thought I'd give this place a try since I recently moved here. I'm so glad for what I saw and shocked still. The GA state inspector came and suddenly all the wax workers DISAPPEARED!!! They ran out the back soon as the inspector told the receptionist who she was, what she was there for and why! The only time I seen people do that is when a bunch of immigrants run away from these ICE raids. The inspector went to each room testing for sanitation and it wasn't good. None of the workers listed online for scheduling services had licenses with the state! They failed inspection for sanitation and because they had 6 unlicensed wax workers!! How is this place still open? You could catch a disease there! It's not safe! I will not recommend this establishment or any of their locations to anybody I know. Can't in good conscience. read more

I got the worse wax of my life here. The application was sloppy and painful. I believe her name was Christy. She got wax on my clitoris and blew on it with her mouth(instead of a fan) when I told her it was too hot. It was traumatic to say the least. Luckily there was someone else that was able to take over the service. The owner was made aware of the situation and never called me to apologize for the situation even though my information was provided to her. This was my first time in YEARS getting a Brazilian wax. I chose the sugar wax instead because I heard it was better than the regular wax. I was very nervous, but the aesthetician Paula was very nice and talked me through it. First I love places where you actually see the owner present! (Rose) She does my waxes when I go and she is sweet not very talkative but when she speaks it's meaningful. I get the Brazilian which is not expensive only $35 If you are not sure what a Brazilian covers well its when you wax the top of the Va jay jay to your ovaries .. lol No seriously the top, in between your Va jay jay lips, you hold your but cheeks apart and she waxes the inside of your crack , a little of your inner thighs , and belly if you are hairy like your father. So yea all that.. Oh and she has baby wipes for you ladies who get a little sweaty.. Surprisingly the crack is the least painful out of all of the places they wax.. but please understand the WAX GOES IN EVERY CRACK AND BETWEEN EVERY crevice .. enjoy Ps: buy the "tend skin" it does wonders for razor bumps and ingrown hair .. read more

Just got my first even Brazilian wax here from Luana. The lady at the front desk (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was very sweet and helped calm my nerves. Luana was awesome! Very nice, professional and patient! I've been shaving for almost 20 years so my hair was course and it hurt like hell but Luana was fast and explained it will be easier every time I come. the lady that did my waxing was friendly, but the wax experience itself wasn't great. I have bruises and burns and irritated skin. My arms feel great, my brazilian is smooth ( although she didn't go all the way "back"), but my eyebrows are hacked and are two completely different shapes. Thankfully they are blonde and there was enough left for me to fix them. read more

I've been coming since she opened at the 1st location she was at, but the scheduler/receptionist is not as friendly or as outstanding as her 1st receptionist at the 1st location (Selina)!! I have been going to a salon in Buckhead for many years but I recently stumbled upon this waxing salon. The first time I went Dayse did my services and she was absolutely awesome. I loved everything about my experience with her. Today was my second visit. Dayse was not there and since I did not want to wait until Monday I decided to try LouAnn and I was pleased with her as well. I am very picky and I pay full attention to the details. I've tried Linda, Victoria, and Dasye. out of 3 experiences i only had one good experience. I only go when I'm desperate and this is the last place that is open and has availability. I've tried 3 women and only one of them did amazing which was Dayse the owner who now only works at the camp creek center. The wax that they use grips onto your skin more than any usual wax. There are multiple different type of waxes for different parts of the body. But they only use one wax for every body part. Since the Brazilian is such a sensitive area they should have one that is made to grip only hair and not gel based. I do not recommend Linda unfortunately she waxed my Brazilian area in 2 STRIPS! The ingrown pulling was literal hell. Victoria was okay but the wax was very painful and I was in pain walking out from her pulling my ingrown. I've been to other places where the waxing nor ingrown pulling did not hurt. Like I said I only come when I'm desperate and not willing to do it myself. I've had wax left on me by one lady unfortunately. read more

not worth it. ive been once before and i hated my experience because it was rush, the lady was making me very uncomfortable and i figured it was just that lady that made the experience bad for me and not the company as a whole so tried coming back a week ago. and i would still say the SAME thing. a different person did my wax but ultimately it was rushed and she made me super uncomfortable with the way she was touching me during the brazillian wax. im aware she is just trying to do her job but you DONT have to rush me and rush the process over all and it was painful. i never had this type of experience at rios body wax and i would encourage everyone else in the mcdonough area to go there instead. read more

I went to Luana to get my legs waxed and she was very rough , she left blood drawn spots on my knee caps and back of my knees , she is not licensed to wax , she tries to fit too many customers in a short time period and is very rushed , basically she is in it just for the money and I would not recommend anyone to go her. read more

I started going here when it went by another name. The first time under the new name I had no problems. They were nice and professional. I was going today as a walk-in. I don't mind waiting in that situation but no one was at the front counter so I went ahead and signed in and sat down. I waited about 5 minutes or so then I walked to the back to use the restroom. On the way back through a cracked door, I could see the employees in a room talking. I sat back down in the front and waited another 5 or 10 minutes. Still no one at the front desk. I used to go here religiously, but as of recently they have gone down hill. The last time I went they were rude for one. Secondly I went to the back room for an appointment I had scheduled in ADVANCE. I was told the normal undress and I'll be back. Well 30 minutes go by and no return. So I got dressed went up front and let the woman up front know I had been waiting for half an hour. She proceeded to nonchalantly say oh are you sure. Like first of all yes. She's very nice and was very patient as I tend to overheat when I'm getting waxed. She was knowledgeable and gentle.
