Henry was the Pedicure tech and Sonny was the Manicure tech. Sonny went over and beyond to make sure that my nail polish color matched (I wanted dip, and the polish on my toenails was a Gel polish that they didn't have a match for. I also added a silver glitter.) When I asked about using a clear dip and then using the same gel polish, he quickly said that he could do it. I absolutely love the way they look! After bringing her own inspo picture and talking through the design with her technician, she was given a different product than she had asked for. After going back to address the issue several times, we were told there was simply nothing that could be done and it was ultimately my friend's fault. After talking it through multiple times they finally agreed to try again but then basically told her they didn't have the time to help her (45 minutes into her waiting) VERY upset with how we were treated today.

That's when I realized (after researching) that there are different kinds of manicures and I had evidently gotten a gel manicure. According to cosmopolitan.com: "When you have gel on your nails, the polish continues to cure in direct sunlight or in any exposure to UV--which is all around us," says Lim, adding, "the longer you keep your polish on, the longer it cures, which makes it much harder to remove." The safest bet is to head to your manicurist after two weeks, where they can gently remove your polish without damaging or stripping your nails." I wish I would have been told this because I would have gone with a simple fingernail polish. My nails are sooooo dry and brittle and even after getting off the polish and clipping them seven of my nails keep chipping. If your special treat to yourself is having your nails done every two weeks I would give Solar Nails a try. If not, make sure you ask if they will just use regular nail polish.

Everyone was so nice, helpful, and dedicated to high quality service. Sky, who did my pedicure, and Jenna, who did my daughter's nails, were so amazing. The location was perfect because I had to do a Sam's club pick up which is literally in the same shopping center. Google reviews looked really good with hundreds of positive experiences. I was torn because when I came to yelp, it was more negative than positive. Regardless I went in, they were super nice. I was sat immediately. It smelled incredible and Nancy was friendly. I would say they did an okay job. She really got in there with my cuticles. It's not the best pedicure I've ever had. I feel like my big toes don't match. Very happy. I just got a basic pink color this time but have been trying to find someone who can dupe a certain look I use to get from where I moved from. The owner took the time to listen to what I wanted and even though I said I would get it next time, she still went above and beyond to create an example on a fake nail so I would know for next time. She had the special powder and did the technique perfectly. i will absolutely be back and I've found my new favorite place! The owners are wonderful.... So nice! Prices are great and they offer complimentary drinks and snacks. This is definitely a hidden gem that I highly recommend!
