While I understand using reference photos, it became frustrating when even simple requests were met with hesitation. My final experience was the most disappointing. I brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted, and despite knowing that I had worked hard to grow my natural nails, the technician repeatedly began cutting them down. Preserving my nail length was extremely important to me, and I had communicated that clearly. When I stopped her and declined to continue the service, she became visibly upset and unprofessional. Looking back, I realize the overall vibe had been off for quite some time, but I continued supporting the salon because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Some of the overlay makes them look crooked. I asked for coffin shape, some look more square than others and you can already see growth at the cuticle and it has not even been a week. In the past year I have been to several different places and not used any twice. I want to find a professional salon that does a good job and do what I ask. I am tired of mediocre nail salons.
