Three strikes and you're out. During my first visit to Couture Nails, I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment for any available technician. Ann, who eventually became available, was apologetic, courteous, and did a great job on my nails and feet. Because of this positive experience, I started scheduling my appointments with Ann, who asked me not to schedule appointments with her before 10:00 am. No problem, I complied. The second episode, I waited 30-40 minutes past my 10:00 am appointment because Ann was finishing someone else's nails. Again, surprised because I thought she did not take appt before 10:00 am. Today was strike three! A few days ago, I requested a 10:00 am appointment with Ann, but the manager (based on the voice I recognized) asked if I could come in at 9:30 am instead. When I arrived today at 9:30 am, I was surprised to see Ann in the middle of a pedicure! I chose my polish, and someone turned on the water for my pedicure. However, I ended up waiting with my feet in the water for about 40 minutes to which Ann finished her current client's pedicure and then started doing her nails. I was shocked! I had a dental appointment at 11:45 am, and the 9:30 am appointment would have given me plenty of time to make it. I looked around and saw four other technicians with no customers, just playing on their phones. Unacceptable! That was the last straw. I walked out of the salon with wet feet. Clearly, my time and schedule mean nothing to them. I was a loyal, punctual, and generous tipper who respected their time by canceling appointments well in advance if necessary. However, they showed no respect for my time. I feel the Manager is rude with lack of good customer service to me. Too bad Ann lost a loyal customer! There are absolutely plenty of other nail salons around, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Every time I go they do an amazing job. The shop is beautiful and clean. They have a nice wax room as well. Owners music playlist of oldies is awesome. read more

Cali was most accommodating being the last person to leave. I have not enjoyed having my nails done so much until I met this young lady. She is personable and actually talks to you while you get pampered. It only took one time for me to come here and it is now a place that I can call "My Nail Salon". I have been looking for a new nail salon since mine went out of business due to the pandemic. I found one!! And I think I found the best, which I thought I wouldn't find better than what I had before. I have met my match in Theresa and that's an understatement. Dont let me get started on the talent her daughter Cali has too. My teenager goes to Cali and the designs Cali creates on my daughter's gel sets are outstanding. The way they both do our nails makes me want to show mine off as my daughter has every one of her friends now going to Cali. Once you see them, you can't deny how fantastic they are. Dont be embarrassed to tell them exactly what you want and how you want it. They will literally make it happen to your standards every time. Trust me! They will not disappoint. read more

I think the owner Teresa does excellent work! However if you are an african american and do not live in the fiveforks area beware. She seems to have a issue with people of color. If any conversation is held with you it is only to ask how you found her, and where do you work or live. which usual would be harmless. But She speaks in her native language to the other nail techs about you. She is rude, takes other customers in front of you even if you have an appointment. I sent her clients which had appointments. They waited 45 minutes only for her to be unkind to them. They ended up walking out of the establishment. She did the same thing to me, but I tried to over look it and give her another try. As an african american we already face so many challanges. No matter how anyone one feels about color; our blood is also red and our money is also green. The owner did my nails and they were exactly what I asked for. I called about an hour ahead and she said I could be a walk-in so I was prepared to wait. The wait time wasn't long, they were done quickly but not rushed and the conversation was nice. I am a new customer and will faithfully be returning! read more

My daughter and I went in for dip polish. We didn't have an appointment and I asked if they had time for us and they said to pick a color. The lady that did my daughter was getting ready to leave for a trip and did a terrible job. I sat with my nails soaking in acetone for an hour and 10 minutes before I paid for my daughter's nails and we left. I would give zero stars if that were an option. read more

Hit or miss. Sometimes they do a great job but on my last visit, they earned zero stars. I arrived on time. They seated me and I waited 35 minutes. There was no receptionist or scheduler and they were throwing butts in seats with insufficient staff. I received a piss poor pedicure as well. My expectations were not high but in total it was five minutes (+-:30). I may give it one more shot but they need more organization and people. read more

I made an appointment for me and a friend to get dip nails. Thankfully they could get us in and took us back on time. The women immediately started my nails in a hurry. She did zero prep work and I know I didn't pay for a manicure, but I guess I at least expected them to push my cuticles back a little. She did FIVE layers of color (never seen more than three) and the color was still uneven and bumpy. She also did inconsistent shapes for my nails and barely smoothed them. The top coat was very "rippled" if that makes sense and here it is a few days later and my nails seem gummy and soft to the touch. I'm very disappointed with the service and can't believe I paid over $55 for nails that don't look good and won't even last a week. read more

Well i started going here about 2/3 years ago when they first opened , i loved the service i received and became a regular, the mom(owner) always did my nails she's great btw! I then moved away out of town for a while. I came back and was quit excited for my next visit to the salon m. That soon became a thing of the past , she now has her daughter working there and another young lady ! She wasn't there unfortunately, ok no biggie ! I let the young lady , the daughters friend , do my nails she did a good job but i knew she was inexperienced with the service i request still yet she was great ! I tipped her and left. It wasn't until this second visit i developed this distasteful feeling towards the salon itself , my daughter and i came in for a pedi! Half way thru my service i decided to get a fill in the young lady who did then was doin a pedicure so i notice the owner's daughter was wrapping up her client. So i asked her if she could do my fill she said yes. Ok cool , so I'm now almost done w my pedi i overhear her ask the other young girl did i tip the last time. Terrible idea of her i felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional! I felt discrimination against me to the extent that I never will return again because 1 I'm a customer who pays well just me and my 5 year old daughter's pedicure was 120 after tipping 141! I mean I'm a strong believer in tipping especially for superb service. I thought that was what was provided here but obviously not! read more

Just moved to Greenville and was looking for a new nail tech in the area, so I tried out My Couture. I got a Dip Powder Full set and loved it so much I went back the next day to get a pedicure. I went back in a week later for a nail repair and was instructed to sit at a nail station. I sat for a little over an hour while my sister was being rushed on her set before someone told me "We have appointments back to back so no one has time for your nail" The look on my face was the only reason she even asked "would you like to come back later?"...Great work. My experience here was so horrible, I will definitely never return. My nails look so horrible. The lady that did my nails were obviously new and when I asked her to fix a nail that she obviously put on crooked she said "what" and "fixed" it with an attitude. I honestly cannot believe I paid for this service but I was there for 2 almost 3 hours and was extremely ready to go as I was late for another appointment. I asked for a square shape medium length, she made my nails look like bricks. She didn't even trim my cuticles which I didn't notice until later. The acrylics don't even fit correctly and some of the tips aren't even the same size. Just please go somewhere else, it isn't worth $60. read more

This was a great place for my nails. I took my son with me and we might have waited 5 minutes for our appointment but then they got to us right away. Very clean!! They line the basin for your feet and open new tools for each person. I love that and we will definitely be back. Prices were reasonable. They do prefer cash but take credit cards. read more

Worst nails ever! Within 2 days my nails were chipping and pealing and within a week, a few nails were cracked. The shiny coating was completely off of all nails as well. I got dip powder. (supposed to last two weeks atleast) The service was also unprofessional. I will not go back! I wouldn't go here if i were you! read more
