Terrible experience--cut by the technician and highly unprofessional. I had a very disappointing manicure here. The technician was unprofessional, asked me when I had my nails done last, (rude) and talked constantly. During the prep, he used a mechanical nail drill on my cuticles instead of proper cuticle remover and a brush. He ended up cutting me, and the area is still raw and tender. I immediately asked him to stop using the mechanical nail drill. Furthermore, he was incredibly stingy with the water-softening product. I regret tipping for such low-quality experience. In hindsight, I should have selected the custom option and left a minimal amount. Instead, I defaulted to the 15% option. read more

Fourth and final time... I have tried again and again to do my nails here because I love supporting my community and the local businesses around my town. But every time, it takes 2+ hours to do one manicure not because of the lack of staff but because they don't know how to work with customers who know exactly what they want. Sadly, this experience has been the worst for me. Its easier for you to tell me that you cant do it than for you to try to do it and it comes out terrible. I Have never been treated so poorly by any of the nail salons i've been to, and its ben A LOOOT. I'm always trying nee places until i find exactly what I like. The person who tried to fix my nails told me he had no problem taking everything off for me to leave, in the tone of "please don't come back". Its honestly so sad to see that a little happiness of someone's day could be completely devastated by the lack of professionalism. I'm disappointed. Now my nails are fragile, undone and i wasted 3 hours away from my family that I'll never get back. At least i didn't spend my money ($60+) on something I definitely was unsatisfied with. read more

Not what I expected! Wanted a simple pedicure and acrylic fill-in done. I researched Google for a 5 star nail salon and decided to try The Nail Boutique. The salon was very clean and quiet and I appreciated that I was able to call and make an appointment for an hour before. Initially, for the most part I was happy with the results and the price but a few days went by and I could see so many imperfections. My nails are bulky and thick. Some of the overlay makes them look crooked. I asked for coffin shape, some look more square than others and you can already see growth at the cuticle and it has not even been a week. In the past year I have been to several different places and not used any twice. I want to find a professional salon that does a good job and do what I ask. I am tired of mediocre nail salons. I have just given away a lot of money because I am not very happy with the service that I have received in the past year. Where are the professional nail salons located? I don't mind paying and I don't mind tipping. I just want quality nails! read more

Me and my sister have not be pleased with any nail salon in the upstate AT ALL. Every place we go has been just not good. It so upsetting spending 50+ on nails and not have a good experience. But this salon is amazing! Me and my sister were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing our nails looked. My sister went back after her other set grew out. You know if my sister is impressed that it's good. Me and my sister are very picky but we LOVED this place. Y'all are amazing! Keep it up! Another note is my sisters nail broke the next day on the second time set. So I went to the nail salon on my lunch break to get a simple white coffin set. Nothing crazy. Just a simple white set. I asked for colored acrylic and the lady said, "we don't have colored acrylic. We can do your nails in regular acrylic and paint it white." Fine. Same style. (Said they only had dip powder but dip and acrylic are the same, just a different process...) The other dude there does my nails and starts to do an ombré so I stopped him and said no, just white. Mind you I showed him a pic. Mind you... he's using the WHITE acrylic that they claimed they didn't have. He does my nails and asked me if I liked them. I said "no I don't but I have to go back to work." He continues. I had him fix at least two nails before I was over it. I washed my hands and went to pay. Dude said $70. Normally I would have just paid it and went about my business but I saw the breakdown of what the 70 was for. $40 for the full set. $20 for gel POLISH $10 for coffin. Now I'm used to paying for shape (never understood it but whatever) but $20 for a clear coat of gel.... Nah. So I tell him and he CHANGES the price list to say $60 for an acrylic set $10 for shape. I told him I'm not paying $20 for a clear coat and asked for him to take off the clear coat. He said no. Cool. We argue a bit. Then he comes back and says "ok pay $50" and then flips the screen around again and it says $70! So I look and he charges me for the shape(10), gel (10) AND the length(10) But he didn't charge me for the length in the beginning. So he was just adding stuff. I went off.......... Let Navy Federal show me that they took more and I'm going off again. And look at my nails. TRASH! Stop giving people your money when they don't respect you. He was hella nasty and if you know me, you'd know that I was calm the entire time until shorty tried to play in my face. I recorded his behind because nah. I wish I would have taken a picture of the screens but he had me HOT! He didn't even prep my nails and even though he said it was a new set of tools, I had no proof that they weren't so I let him go. Don't go there. (I would show my feet but nah. Just know, it's trash too) Tim is the dude and the manager didn't want to give me HER name but was too quick to throw him under the bus. My experience was so poor, I had to share a review to warn others. I was traveling from out of town and wanted a simple manicure with polish. I have weak nails and asked if they had a nail strengthening base coat. The technician said that all polishes are the same and that my nails "would be fine" The service was ok but the incredible fumes of polish told me that it was not "OPI" polish. My nails chipped in less than 48 hrs and then my nails split from dryness. My fault for not stopping the service when I realized the polish was a dupe. Also, slightly rude service but possibly because the poor girl was sick with a cough. read more

Strongly disliked how my nails turned out after going here! They didn't cut my cuticles at all and the paint job is okay at best. The guy cutting my nails wasn't very friendly and I feel like he just wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible. read more

UnFriendly ~Unprofessional and Unclean .. !! On my recent quest to find a new nail salon since my nail guy of 12 years left me and moved back to FL., I have yet find one that will be my new best friend !! Nothing worse than being stuck some place for an hour or so with unfriendly people ! The service was poor as well ! First thing I noticed when I arrived today was pricing. Where are the prices??? You couldn't find them anywhere !! Not until you sit down at the pedicure bowl did she offer me the lamented menu and that was after i asked about pricing. They really need to have pricing listed clearly on the wall so people can review before deciding on services. Wasn't impressed on the amount of polish on the wall either. I'm a huge gel polish fan but I didn't get it this time as the selection of gel polish was almost non existent from where I could see a little rack behind one of the ladies. The decor screams new owner and which I can tell. Not all the way put together versus other locations that I've visited. No points removed for that as I rather have a great experience. Pedicure was fine. I purchased a $30 spa pedicure so I got what I paid for. I did enjoy the heated towl the real test is to see how long the polish will last on my hands and feel since it wasn't gel polish. Last minute I changed my mind and got gel polish on my hands with a basic manicure for $25. Overall it was decent. Probably will try again but with something else next read more

I have been here twice now for SNS/Dip powder manicure and both times they were beautiful! Friendly service, each time I have been extremely comfortable and surprised they remembered me from the first time. Not a lot of the usual "manicure" treatment- but I don't prefer that anyways. Not my normal place. I stopped in to just have gel polish taken off. She did not let them soak nearly long enough then used the Dremel to remove what didn't come off initially. Nicked my skin twice (drawing blood) and my nails are all gouged up. Won't be returning. read more

I went in to get my nails filled and am VERY pleased with the job that was done. With that being said, I probably won't return. The staff wasn't the friendliest and it made me uncomfortable.
