I met Mr. Maliki on a Thursday, he came by and looked at the items we would need to be moved from the home. We walked around the home so we could show him what we wanted to get rid of. Mr. Maliki was such a gentleman, he gave us an offer we could not refuse. Time is off the essence as our home is in need of major repairs. Mr. Maliki came punctually today as scheduled to remove the junk items. Not only did he and his partner take the junk we needed to discard, but the brothers helped carry other heavy items that we needed help with to our regular garbage areas. He kindly helped me to bag up whole sets of books from two cabinets and 10 contractor bags later. Because of their swift response to the request for help, we can now help mom get repairs done in her home. These gentleman are truly above and beyond, punctual, fair and courteous. I'm grateful for you gentlemen coming out in this cold to help us on short notice at that. I truly look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you and Merry Christmas! read more

I have to finally write a review, this is my second time hiring I-Haul-Junk and I'm so happy I did. They come early, they are efficient and fast! Very professional and patient. I will always use them or recommend to others. Great job guys! read more

These guys were professional from beginning to end. Removed a massive couch and mattress from my walkup. Will absolutely call them next time. read more

We had some junk to haul away and employed this company's service. My experience with them: - they were on time - very courteous and friendly - quickly and quietly finished the job - pricing was very reasonable Out of the quick, cheap and quality, one usually gets two out of three. But we got all three on this day. They clearly conducted themselves in a way where they want to keep your business. I will definitely employ their service in the future and I HIGHLY recommend this company's service for hauling junk. read more

The I-Haul-Junk team was great when I needed to get rid of some heavy items from my 5th floor walk up during the height of the pandemic. They were punctual, professional, polite, and I appreciated the way the pricing was clearly explained to me so that I could stay within my budget. Highly recommend. read more

The I Haul Junk team saved me! I has someone cancel on me last minute and Maliki and his team came in and saved the day with a smile. They were incredibly professional and prompt communicating with me every step of the way. The actual removal was seamless and painless and I wish I had just gone with them from the beginning. No need to look anywhere else, I haul junk is the way to go. Incredibly responsive, kind and professional. Exactly what you want and need during a stressful time of moving. Amazing! read more

The team at I Haul Junk is fantastic. I booked them for an office move - we had five years worth of stuff to get rid of and they handled it perfectly. They not only came out to give a quote but also took photos and video of what needed to go in order to make sure they sent enough team members for the job. They arrived promptly at 9am as planned and were in and out in two hours flat. Their team was super careful when breaking furniture down, and even helped move a few heavy electronic items into another room to make sure they wouldn't be damaged. I highly recommend them for any junk hauling needs - Maliki and his team are rockstars! read more

I highly recommend this professional and courteous team. They are willing to work with you to ensure you receive the best of what they have to offer. Special thanks to Maliki for all of his patience and help. read more

I needed some junk removed. A friend recommended I-hual-junk. And what do you know, they showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. That was really nice of them. read more

They were great! Punctual, professional, fast, and came in at a price that was competitive but definitely the cheapest of those I researched. Additionally, the. Company mission is one that I really support. I will be recommending them to all my fiends! read more

Maliki and his co-worker (sorry - I forgot your name!) called to confirm the appointment, and showed up on time. We had three large, heavy pieces of furniture which needed to be carried down a flight of stairs. They were able to negotiate the stairs without any damage to the items or the walls. There was enough additional items that they needed to make a second trip, but they gave me a return trip time, and picked up everything I needed to have removed. I needed a quick response, as we were selling my parents house, and these guys were top notch. They were prompt, friendly, polite, efficient and reasonable. Thank you so much for your excellent service - I hope you continue to succeed in your endeavors! read more

Reading through some of the bad reviews has me wondering if there are guys posing us Maliki and his team because it's the complete opposite! These guys are always professional, punctual and efficient. Additionally, they're prices are very fair and never have I been overpriced. Maliki and his team have done a couple of jobs for Air Aroma and I am happy to say, I have been very pleased. Lastly, without a doubt they are my go to guys! I would recommend these guys for such an excellent service they provide. read more

I never post reviews on Yelp. This is my first post (always read em, but never post). We called I-Haul-Junk yesterday after waiting for a callback from another company that didn't need the business (never called back). Maliki the owner took the call and we arranged to do a facetime call so that I could show him what we had (an apartment cleanout). He told me the rates (that are posted on his web site) and I accepted the rate. I-Haul-Junk showed up on time, the next morning, and had the apartment cleared out in 1 1/2 hours. The guys he had with him were extremely polite and worked very hard. We are so very grateful to I-Haul -Junk. The made the day excellent and virtually stressless! I would hire them in an instant again if I had a need to get rid of junk. Fantastic service, professional people, and did what they said they would do on time and within budget. Highly Recommended!!! Call I-Haul-Junk at 212-203-7556. read more

The team that came to remove my furniture was early, professional, and quick. They carefully not damage the floors or the walls. I think that is all you can ask for in a hauling/moving company. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I was in a tough spot needing to move a lot in a short period of time, and Maliki and his guys came through! Couldn't have been easier to deal with. read more

I had a great experience using these guys they were on time they moved fast and they were pleasant to work with I thought my junk was way less then it was they still took everything it end up filling up the whole truck but they kept the price the same as the quote they first gave me read more

My worst nightmare happened with this company. I corresponded with them through yelp and booked a week in advance. Everything was confirmed but in the day of the supposed pick up the guy emails me (after my appointment time ) to tell me the driver didn't show and he had to reschedule for tomorrow. Well I had another piece of furniture coming so that just killed everything. Save yourself the aggravation and pay the extra money to get the reliable junk haulers. read more

Couldn't be happier with i-haul-junk: prompt, friendly service, with a team of professionals who understand the importance of handling with care! One of the reasons I decided to work with i-haul-junk is because they offered me the option to move my old furniture not to the trash, but to a community shelter that really needs the resources. I'm glad there are still companies out here who imbue social values in their work, and I look forward to calling Maliki at i-haul-junk in the future whenever my budget allows for my next furniture upgrade! Thanks, i-haul-junk!!!! read more

I highly recommend going with ANY other company. In my 20 years of being in my field, I have never worked with a company, let alone an owner, that is so ill mannered and unprofessional. The owner tried to add over $230 to the initial cost for inaccurate reasons and continued to yell and personally insult me because I refuse to pay it. I felt so embarrassed for him at the scene he caused. Just shocking. read more

The I Haul Junk team was very professional in carting away junk from my office. They were able to come out the very next day to provide a quote. When they arrived they looked over everything and provided the best quote from anyone I had called. They efficiently handled and took away the random boxes and bags. Lifesavers! read more

These guys are great. We'd putting off for years getting rid of our large, 40 year old couch. We recently found something that could replace it and we had to get rid of the old one, fast. We found I Haul Junk through Google and Yelp on a Saturday afternoon (yesterday) and made an appointment for the next day (!) (Sunday--today). The truck arrived a few minutes late, but that was OK, because they called in advance to let us know about that. Nice guys, got the job done fast. The cost was consistent with the rates they advertise on their website. I'm still amazed that we got rid of a big volume piece of furniture in less than 24 hours. The fact that they called in advance with their arrival time and that they were very nice and very professional adds to the amazement. read more

I-Haul-Junk is outstanding! Maliki arrived 15min early - they do not give you the standard two hour window - instead they were early!! Very professional, no games, friendly. Responds to emails within 5 minutes. Took my junk out of a storage unit in Queens and the whole job was done under 20 minutes. Cheap and fairly priced compared to other companies. Highly recommended!!! read more

Couldn't recommend these guys more. I booked the appointment on Thursday for early Saturday morning. We had a full bedroom that my parents had turned into a dreaded junk room. A whole 10 x 12 room just filled practically to the ceiling. These guys showed up and while it took them 3 hours to do cleared the whole room and loaded it onto the truck and took it away. They were super nice and didn't really have a problem with packing up a lot of our stuff into garbage bags because it wasn't already just ready to go. I looked around for a while to find a place and I'm so glad I went with these guys. read more

My mom was so very pleased with the I-Haul-Junk team both during and after the service provided today. They were on time and very professional communicating with us on the task at hand. Maliki was very attentive to the details of removing the items of our loved one belongings both big and small. He asked the right questions and was very thoughtful in the removal of everything. There was a black bag, among the many that was removed that we didn't want to go and Maliki bought it back to us! Thank you so much :) read more

They overcharge and will arrive an hour and a half late and act like they're doing you a favor for showing up?! Wth. Be warned, Maliki and this other guy that was there with him do not care about your public apartment property. So if you have furniture or anything that is slightly heavy, they will carry it outside of your apartment and then when you're not in sight they will literally slide sharp, heavy objects down across the floors. So much so that I was billed by the damage from my building!! read more

I was moving on a busy weekend and was gettjng rid of a lot junk. I called a different service who arrived as promised but didn't have the space in their truck for my job. I was stuck, and the service was booked solid for the rest of the weekend. I called I-haul-junk and they made an an appt between 3 and 4. I was a little stressed so when 3:45 came around and I hadnt heard from anyone I called and was told they were in my neighborhood, which was true. My only criticism is that a courtesy call would have been nice. they showed up and were very polite, respectful and professional. They finished what seemed like a difficult job in good time. Then I found them cleaning up the space, which surprised me. their rates were competitive and fair, and their responsiveness got me out of a real bind. I would definitely recommend them and would use their service again. read more

Maliki and Stephon where great, they did a excellent job. Most importantly they where on time and professional and fast I will use them again and the price was right. I had alot of furniture and glass table tops and mirror panels and a large old Sony Wega tv (big and heavy) and two large armoires, out with the old in with the new. Thanks guys job well done and I will recommend to family and friends read more

These guys were great! I had a HUGE sofa sectional that needed to be moved out of a 3rd floor walk up. It was very very heavy and this was super difficult. Maliki and his coworker took on the challenge. It took a while but the sofa made it out. They were as careful as they could be under the circumstances, and they were very polite and courteous. The price was adequate, service was great. I recommend I-Haul-junk to anyone who needs a bit of help hauling their junk. read more

Writing on behalf of Pianeta Legno Floors in NYC: We used I-Haul Junk's junk-removal services for our commercial space last week. Some heavy items (giant hardwood planks to be honest) were involved & they removed them by taking great care for our office space - not even one scratch on the floor / door. Really polite gentlemen.. Professional service at the lowest fees that you could find.. I want to stop here before it sounds like I work for them =) I'd recommend them on any day - Thank you guys! read more

These guys were awesome, and I'm definitely planning to use them again when I toss some items from my storage space in a few weeks. I was so happy with the service, I actually texted a friend (who's moving soon) to recommend them while they were still at my place loading the truck with my stuff. They were really friendly and professional, and got my huge pile of trash bags and an insane amount broken-down boxes (there were hundreds) out of my apartment in a few minutes. The price was really reasonable, and lower than the other places I'd checked out. It was also super easy to book online, and on the day of my appointment, when I realized I needed to move the time to a few hours later, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to do that online as well. They ran a little late getting to my place, but someone from the office called to let me know they'd gotten stuck in traffic and would be there soon, and they showed up within a reasonable timeframe. I always plan for some extra time when I call any kind of moving/hauling service anyway--in this city I feel like they're up against too many variables to guarantee they'll be there right on the dot. All in all, the service was everything I could've hoped--affordable, friendly, efficient and professional. Tops! read more

Maliki and Kareem did a great job removing a large awkward sculpture from my studio. Communication was easy, the appointment was scheduled right away, they came on time and charged a fair price. Overall, a great experience. read more
