It's hard finding any type of "repair" places anywhere so when I noticed my cover on my camera part of my iPhone was shattered...I started looking. This place was close to the house and David said it would take about an hour to repair....I stopped in! He looked and when I returned he said "it will be cheaper", huh! Yes it was not my camera lense but the safety cover over it! And he replaced my screen saver on my front too, which had a scratch...both for $20! He was not on Yelp so I registered him so if you need cell or computer repair you might want to check him out!!? read more

My daughter had exams coming up and to access her college test, she needed her iPhone to access Microsoft authenticator. The shop that I recommended which was down the street was not open, so she tried iFix as a last resort. They were prompt in their service and told her that her phone would be ready within a few hours. She came back. The phone was ready. She was able to access her test at night, however, the next day the repair did not last. She then took it back to the Verizon store and they explained that the repair that was done was improper and when they ask her how much she paid they said the $120 was twice as much as she should have been charged. I don't know how you take advantage of a 19-year-old young woman, but iFix had no problem doing it I would stay as far away from this business as you possibly could . read more

I've gone in several times with little hassles with my computer or phone and they would show me what to do. Needed battery replaced in my iPhone, paid $10 more than Apple would have charged. Get home and battery management system shows caution message that a non Apple battery was installed therefore battery monitoring system won't work. I also noticed that the battery life between charges is less than the old battery I had replaced! They tell me the error message will go away in three days..."it's an Apple thing" they say. Well a week has gone by and the battery maintenance feature still won't work and the battery has less life than the two year old original battery they took out. I had been trying to go see this place But I can't seem to get there at the right time when they're open. Finally Saturday 2022 was Able to stop by. There were no cars In the parking lot but the neon sign said open, And the place was fully lit up It was 7:45 And the sign on the door said They're open Monday through Saturday 10:00 till 8:00 p.m. I happen to notice a man in the background wearing glasses working on something and I tried to get his attention through the window. He finally saw me and came to me but was talking to me But I could not hear him because he was in the middle of the store I tried to get him to come to the door, he just keep waving his hands off and everything I don't know what, very strange. I can only assume that the man didn't speak any kind of English or just Didn't want to help. I had two questions for him about two items that's all I wanted to know is do they work on these items. I would have come back later on had I known the answer to the questions. I'm afraid the person wouldn't be able to answer it anyway considering the way he acted. My point is: if you're going to have a business and you state hours, you should be open those hours. Secondly If you're not going to be open turn off the open sign, turn the lights out and since he was in a back room, I'm sure you could shut the door back there and nobody see it in the place would look closed. Even though the hours sign said they were supposed to be open. Having been in retail businesses and restaurant businesses my whole life I cannot believe this kind of thing happens. Well we took it to iFix & Cell they had it fixed in 24 hours, put a screen protector on it and recommended a much better case then what we had been using. This place doesn't seem to care about me or details. I brought my PC in because the CPU wasn't working. Everything was fine until they called me. The man told me "Long story short, it'll be $x". I told him I wanted to long story and he sighed into the phone. He told me the CPU was corroded. When I arrived they had put the CPU back into the motherboard. A) You're not going to show me the damage? B) Why would you put a bad CPU into a motherboard and risk damaging the motherboard? The man did not want to talk to me, as if his time was too precious to spend on me. I asked to speak to the young man who looked at the parts himself. His responses and answers to me were eerily similar to responses I've given when I worked for horrible bosses: indirect, unsure, and avoidant. I don't blame the young man, I blame his boss(es) for not giving him the role models of customer service, and probably not the right equipment for doing a proper check-up. To put a cherry on top, I paid in cash and the (older) man did not even count the money; especially if most of the cash is $1's. That signals to me a lack of care and a lazy dismissive disposition. I went with this location because they had the best pricing and a friend of mine got his fixed there. So I said sure. Yes the price was great...but the service was terrible. They replaced the screen as paid for on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ but it didnt seal correctly. So I took it back...they replaced it, then the back didnt seal up...took back up there...they resealed it. This is going on 2 weeks now...3rd time was a charm....yeah NOPE. They replaced the outer bezel..and they said the battery had some swelling...they replaced that...Still the glass on the sides doesnt seat well...and my volume buttons dont work. Took the phone in for a cracked screen, it was fixed the same day- which was nice. However, after a few hours of use, the screen would pop in and out of frame with light pressure. Took the phone back, initially the owner attempted to imply it was something I must have done to it. They then did a suboptimal repair of the problem, the screen is still partially unstable in the frame. He stated he wouldn't have the part to replace it for several hours, I took the phone and parted ways. Will not be returning, nor will anyone I know. read more

After a visit with my son, I laid my iPhone on top of my car to change into a pair of flip flops. Afterwards, I jumped in and proceeded to drive away and heard my beloved phone flying from the car onto the road. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty and as I suspected the screen was shattered. Thinking I had insurance on the darn thing, I went to Verizon and was informed that I have my daughter's phone insured....not mine. The representative at Verizon then advised that I take it next door to see if they could possibly fix it for me. After a look of disbelief, he reassured me that although he had never seen a phone as badly damaged as mine, they could possibly fix it. Just my luck the place was closed. I then remembered this little store located in my grocery store's plaza on San Jose, and thought I would give them a try. I walked in and the guy behind the counter took a look at my phone and advised that they could fix it. He told me it would take approximately an hour and gave me an estimate. I left my daughter's cell number, headed next door to do some grocery shopping and returned an hour later. After what may have been an additional 10 minutes (not complaining at all considering what they were working with), the guy came out with my phone and it looked as if nothing had ever happened to it. WOW was all I could say! Ifix and Cell saved me a ton of money! Before visiting this location, I had contemplated purchasing a new phone which was not going to be cheap. That idea made me really sick considering my contract is up in December and I am eligible for an upgraded iPhone. I would suggest this place to anyone who has a cracked/broken phone. My total cost for the repair? $73.83 was all it cost! I learned that they also fix computers and I will be taking mine in real soon. read more

Very poor customer service. I dropped off my laptop because it needed a new screen. Received no receipt. 2 weeks later they call me and say it is ready. I pick it up and it was dead so no way to check it out. Took it home and immediately plugged it up, password didn't work. Why? Because they broke 2 keys on my keyboard that I need to type in my password. I called em' up and they claimed my password was wrong. HELLO, it's MY password.. I know it. They asked me to bring it right back in. I did.. Said they call me that afternoon, no call. 3 days later they call me and tell me I need a new keyboard and I must pay for it. Excuse me! Y'all broke it. They deny responsibility for breaking it. Still claim my password is wrong too because the clerk wrote down "12345678" as my password some dumba** reason. Two hours later I get a call asking for my password. Another hour later I get a call. My replacement keyboard is coming from China and will take another 2 weeks or so to come in. I can pick up my unfixed laptop and they'll loan me a keyboard I can plug into my laptop so my laptop with be accessible. Wtf! read more

Don't fall for thinking it's cheaper than going to Apple! I spent $189 for a new screen, tempered glass and a cell case. He didn't even give me a receipt outlining how much each thing cost. My phone worked for a week then all the sudden I couldn't hear people speaking and people couldn't hear me! I took it to AT&T and they tried everything to fix it and couldn't. They suggested I file a claim (not sure if it would've worked to do a claim because it was a third party who fixed cracked screen). I took it to Apple, the reason I couldn't hear etc was due to the screen he fixed covered the microphone and the tempered glass covered part too. So my $189 trip to the iFix n Cell cost me another $168 st Apple! I hope to get a refund or at least refund the screen protector. read more

They broke my iPhone when changing the battery and refuse to take responsibility for it. They blamed it on Apple and told me they will try to get Apple to get me a new phone. It turned out later that it was all a lie because they never contacted apple. They told me this lie just to get me to go away and stop complaining. What is disturbing was that every person at the store knew the lie and they acted like it was real every time I showed up to ask what is happening. It is like they practiced this scheme and have done it before to other people. To be fair, I've heard someone say good things about this place, so they can't be doing this to everyone. But I think the prospect of paying for a $400 phone that their tech destroyed was enough to bring the worse out of them, or at least I hope it doesn't get worse than this. read more

Recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy S4 from then and the minute I took it home and plugged it in the official samsung software asked me for an update. I updated the phone to the most recent software and the WIFI and Bluetooth stopped morning. I called them and took the phone back and they took over 24 hours to get back to me. They got back to me saying that the phone got bricked during the update process and they tried to blame it on me. They would not refund my money and recommended I contact Samsung. I took my Samsung pad to this place because the speaker was not working. After a week they called me to pick it up, it was fixed. When I got there I turned it up and it had no audio. The technician told that was because no W-Fi in the store. I went outside got W-Fi and still the audio did not worked. I went into the store then the technician said I need a new battery $30. They should had told me when they called me to pick it up, that I need a new battery in order for the speaker to work. I left very upset and called and I told them they should had tested before calling me saying it was ready, then they offered to fix it for $10 dollars. So this is the response to my bad review after I was able to PROVE they never installed a touch screen. First of all this response is entirely a lie because I saved the ONE email response and nobody said anything back to me after they told me the model number of screen they ordered and offered to return the screen. I requested for it to be fixed like I asked with the right screen and no response so I promised to review accordingly, no response, and nooooo nobody said anything like what the owner states in the response to my review!! No matter what bios you install if the screen isn't touchscreen it's NOT touchscreen. You can't turn on or off something that's not a thing!! On the photo it shows no pen or touch input is available for this display which means the installed display isn't touch screen. It's clear they didn't put one in. I was lied to immediately upon walking through the door. I asked if they would be installing a GENUINE OEM screen on my iPhone and the salesman said "yes, they're genuine". I wait for the repair to be completed and they bring it out and immediately I notice issues. The screen's hues/colors are off and cannot even be calibrated under accessibility settings and on top of that, the brightness is nowhere near where it's supposed to be. When I mentioned both of these issues and asked why they lied to me, they claim that there is nothing wrong with it and that it IS a genuine screen from China that all repair stores use. That is NOT genuine OEM. I compared my phone to another random person's iPhone 7 in the parking lot and it showed that I was right. Then they told me that they can't do anything and to come in and talk to the owner tomorrow. Every time you have an issue, they shoo you away and tell you to talk to the owner the next day. Do not go here. Just more shady salesmen/repair people trying to make a quick buck with a strong disregard for your time and money. UPDATE: They're still at their shady service. So I spoke to the owner over the phone about the screen not being legitimate and he said that they would put my broken one back on if I wanted a refund. Then he called and said that they could get a legitimate one from their "distributor" and have it by Thursday of the following week (which was last Thursday). Then they told me to wait until Monday (yesterday). Then they said to wait until this Thursday now and when I told them that I want my money back, they said, "talk to the owner tomorrow." Their distributor is most likely eBay stores and I'd be willing to bet that they aren't even ordering a legit one. They're just looking for a less crappy cheapo one. Took my old desk top hp computer in for repair. Quoted $20 for inspection. It's been blocked by a virus for over a year from opening all the way. Called and said power supply was out and needed a new one , quoted $89 for part . I agreed . Took about a week to get the part and called when it was done . Picked it up and asked if they checked it out . The guy at desk said yes . Took it home and indeed had power but as I said when I brought it in , it was still blocked from something in . Took it back and told the guy at desk it still wouldn't load up. Fixed it in a day and called me and works fine . Complete confidence with the guys in the back doing repairs , they're fine but the guy at the front desk has the personality of an armadillo and sits at his computer doing what I don't know. I went to here this past Sunday to have my phone repaired, the first screen they put on my phone was bad and went dead in just 5 minutes after getting the phone back. They then replaced the screen again but this time all of my photos were missing. I took the phone to Apple and they stated they corrupted something in the phone during the reboot process and I need a new phone and hopefully I will be able to recover my photos from the iCloud. I called the store to advise them of this and spoke with a very rude women who hung up on me a few times before I was finally able to speak with the owner "David" who suggested I come into the store and sign in on one of their Apple products and if that was the issue we will discuss what they can do for me then. At this point, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GETTING THEIR PHONE FIXED HERE. If something changes I will update this post. read more

Firstly this business shows no proffesionalism. I took in my phone to get the screen replaced solely because the digitizer wasnt working. As a certified repair tech i could have fixed it myself but i would have had to wait several days for the part to come in and i needed my phone fast. They promised me 2 hour turn around so i left the phone with them. When i left the phone i noticed that the part they put in the plastic bag with my phone was a different model number than my phone and commented on it. I got a reply saying "this is just the series prefix not the model number" i was a little wary but left my phone anyways. I came back 2 hours later and they told me yo wait about 15 minutes as my phone was almost ready, i sat in the waiting room for over an hour waiting for my phone.Finally i had to leave to go to work asking the shop owner if he could stay open for 10 more minutes after close for me to pick up the phone and he refused and told me to pick up the phone tomorrow morning when the store opened. The next day i went to pick up the phone when the store opened and was told once again that my phone wasnt ready and it would be another 2 hours before a repair tech would be in. I was also told that my phone was not the model i told them it was and that my phone was an older model (They were extremely adamant on this fact even after I brought in the box for the phone), that I had a bad battery that would not hold a charge (which wasnt true because i had just replaced the battery myself about a month prior) and that there was severe water damage to my phone (also not true because i have checked and none of the water indicators were tripped) and lastly was told that i had brought in a non-functional phone because they were not able to turn it on even though with exception of the digitizer the phone functioned perfectly i could use the Google App to make calls send and read text messages and use any app i desired. So regrettingly i let them keep the phone though making it clear i was not willing to pay for any repair other than the broken screen. And came back 3 hours later. Surprise my phone STILL was not done and i was told by the tech that they had put the wrong model screen on my phone and that the phone was now freezing at the opening screen. They then told me it was going be 2 days before they could get the part and then the next day the phone would be ready. So far my 2 hour repair has already been 26 hours and was told it would be 3 more days. I was getting incredibly annoyed more and more as i had to continually wait. When i came back 3 days later the phone was repaired (though the screen was not completely adhered and i had to re-adhere it myself as the backlight was visible around the bezel which could be catastrophic for the phone.) and they refused to give me any discount even though a promised 2 hour repair turned into 4 days and the repair was poorly done. I would not at all reccommend this repair shop its worth the extra $20(based on quotes for my phone) to go elsewhere. read more

Took IPhone in for a crack screen and they replaced for $80.00. The very next day after the repair the screen had popped off a little bit and the screen was cracked. Apparently they bent the housing while doing the repair which caused the glass screen to lift up and crack. Took the phone back immediately and their response was: You must have dropped the phone and caused the damage but we will be nice and repair it for another $40.00. Do yourself a favor and take your phone to 10,000 Cell Phones (their price is cheaper,too). IFix, will rob you blind, not fix the problem and then insult your intelligence. read more
