Honest shop, the technician Dan here is extremely knowledgeable and very transparent about the repairs. I forgot my appointment to drop of my laptop and he still offered to see and repair my laptop the same day. That's the kind of customer service you can expect here. Big fan of the JAGS, and he loves supporting us military folks. Dan you're the man! read more

We came in today to check if an iPhone was unlocked and although the employee wasn't able to tell us. He still was very helpful with other things and walked us through settings to configure the phone. I will come here first if I event need anything. The employee couldn't have been nicer to us. read more

By far the best smartphone repair place I have been to and yes with my family we have replaced 12 screens so far. Lifeline took care of the issue quickly and professionally. Daniel was informative with the process that they were going to try first. (Long story, this phone was run over by a car), about ten minutes later he said it was going to be saved. Lobby is clean, comfortable and professional looking. Not like some of the dodgy places I have seen. If you need a screen repair come here and ask for Daniel. read more

Excellent and speedy service. After reading the reviews on Yelp I am so happy I chose the Lifeline. I have an older tablet and was told up front that it may be a problem with replacing my screen. However they check the computer, ordered my screen oh, I paid half down, and they gave me the exact date to expect the repair. I was called when the screen came in. I dropped my tablet off the next day and the following day it was ready and I received the call to let me know that it was. That is what I call excellent customer service. The store is nice and clean it is in a safe area of town off of Southside Boulevard and I look forward to doing more business with lifeline read more

Excellent service! 15 minutes for walk-in service to replace an iPhone screen. I have confidence that they used quality parts.

I am late posting my review. Sorry! Daniel was super friendly and professional. I came in with an old offer and he still honored it! Wait time was extremely short & service was easy. I will definitely return if needed & recommend this place for your screen repair services. read more

I had a very good experience at this location. While the sign says "phones and tablets", my son had a laptop issue that they helped him with. The tech was very helpful, very knowledgable and very pleasant to deal with. He spent about 20 minutes with my son and he guided him on what to do without a fee. I needed a screen protector for my iPhone, so he recommended the appropriate style and type and put it on my phone. It was the most FLAWLESS application I have ever seen. If I was not aware of it being applied, then I would not know it was there; as there were no bubbles, lifts, creases or flaws. In addition to the service, he cleaned both the computer and the iPhone. The ultimate customer service. read more

The gent there did excellent. My phone had a cracked screen that made it unusable, but it was fixed. He told me that it would take about 15 minutes to repair it but he did it in 10. Now my phone works great with no issues. Would use again. The waiting area was nice open and clean. read more

I don't want to jink myself, so I am not going talk about the difference in how many phones my kids have broken vs SO and I. But, should you ever need your phone repaired this is the place. I was tired of shoddy repairs, so I went with Yelp reviews and drove past about 10 other shops to get to this one. I hope I never need them again, but if I do this os the only place I am going. Fast, friendly, professional and quality work. Thanks!!! read more

So, I'm a klutz and dropped my phone. The screen cracked. I'd only had this phone for about 3 or 4 months. A screen replacement was in order. LifeLine had the right price. It would still cost about half the price of the phone to fix, but it seemed worth it at the time. LifeLine didn't have the screen on hand, which is understandable. They ordered the screen and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I left them my phone because I needed to be elsewhere at the time and they had it done before the end of the day. The first thing I noticed was that the screen didn't sit perfectly in the bezel. It floated. Try as I might to press it down the screen separated itself from the bezel all around to the point that I could put a fingernail under the edge if I wanted and pry it off. Of course I'm not going to do this, so I dutifully continued to press the edges down. That was my mistake. I should have taken it in at the first sign of trouble. Today, I noticed that the screen had again broken because the bezel no longer protected the thin edge of the glass. Not happy but the crack didn't cross the lit part of the screen. I also noticed a blue area in the top-right corner. By the time I'd called LifeLine back, the blue area was now a black spot that was slowly expanding. By the time I made to the store the spot was about half the size of a thumb. If I had taken the phone in earlier or if the spot remained blue rather than black the warranty would have covered the fix. Not anymore. A full replacement was required. A second screen replacement just isn't worth it. Now fixing a cracked screen would be for the full price of the phone and questionable quality to boot. I will be buying a new phone. Thank you. Now it's evening and the black spot has expanded across the entire screen. My phone is unusable. So, I went ahead and pried off the screen to see what was causing it to float. I found a blue film remaining stuck to the back of the screen that should have been peeled off. This is a required step when installing a new screen. The LIfeLine technician had neglected to do so in this case. The dead screen sits a lot more snugly in its bezel with that film removed. LifeLine's fa ilure to remove the film before installation caused all the problems with the ill-fitting screen, and has led to the non-functionality of my phone. I went to LIfeLine with a functional phone that had a crack in the screen. After LIfeLine's "professional" fix for half the price of the phone, I have a dead phone. LifeLife destroyed my phone through their error and incompetence. read more

You will not be punished FOR your anger, you will be punished BY your anger. - Buddha And I was indeed punished by mine. In a fleeting moment of anger following a very minor disagreement on Friday evening, I placed my iPhone face down on a table a little too hard, and what followed was utter devastation for me. My phone screen, although not cracked, went to half-screen, then it went gray, then it went black and did not come back up. Oh no. In the midst of the pandemic did I just kill my iPhone? OMG!!! What was I to do?? After spending over an hour on the phone with Apple Saturday morning and following multiple "tries" to fix the problem, I was told my phone was dead. Black screen of death. A brick. I could take it to a service provider (nearest one was St. Simons Island because the Jax Apple Store was closed due to the pandemic!!!). In doing so I'd also have to erase the phone then remove it from my account. This is fine, IF I HAD BACKED UP MY PHONE with iTunes (like I was supposed to). Nope. This is fine if I used the Cloud. Nope. Lesson learned loud & clear. TWO years of my data, including notes, pictures and videos of my kids during birthdays, Christmas, school plays, etc. was LOST. Yes, I cried. I prayed. And I probably cried again. But something told me not to erase it. So I refused. Despite being told by THREE people it was what I was going to have to do. I researched online. Could my data be recovered? My phone would still ping when checked, and I could shut it down (home button locked) and get it back up (home button unlocked) even though it didn't register as online, and I couldn't get it to connect to iTunes, I had hope. Didn't I? Surely I wouldn't lose two whole years of memories. It turns out I did have hope!!! I found LifeLine Repairs after searching for data recovery in Jax and sent a message to them (through Yelp! whoo hoo) regarding my phone. Daniel quickly responded that it might just need a screen change, so I should bring it in for diagnosing. What? Did I hear that right? That's it? I didn't "break" the phone but I just messed up the screen. Really??!!! My hope escalated as high as the Eiffel Tower, and I just about burnt dinner running around the house telling my family my phone might be saved. One thing though...they were now closed until Monday. So I had to wait....hope...pray...all through Saturday evening and all day on Sunday. I can do this! I had hope. I went in on Monday Morning and Daniel checked. He didn't know I was praying in the lobby. He came back out and said all it needed was a screen replacement. I teared up and said I could cry (but I was not gonna let him see me cry, I'm an ugly crier). Anyway, back to the point...he fixed my phone within 20 mins for less than the cost of what my insurance would've charged me to replace a cracked screen and also less than what a replacement phone would've cost me. I could've professed my love right there on the spot (and maybe I did express over and over how much I appreciated him and that he made my day). Instead of professing love though I did promise to give him a worthy review. So here it is, in detail. DO NOT LOSE HOPE at least until Daniel says so! He surely provided a life line (see what I did there?) for me when I was in my own Lion's Den and I cannot thank him enough. He and LifeLine Repairs will undoubtedly receive many referrals from me to anyone who mentions a problem with their phone, and I hope if you have a phone issue and took the time to read all of this you will run to LifeLine to get yours checked. (Side note: I came straight home and backed up my phone so all is right in my world again. Thanks again so much Daniel!!!) read more

Absolutely amazing! I needed my iPhone 7Plus screen repaired and was desperately looking for a place in my area. I stumbled across LifeLine Repairs via a google search and I have never been happier. I contacted the store and spoke with Daniel (who also fixed my screen). I was told it would only take 20 minutes...and I don't even think it took that long! I was impressed and even more excited that I didn't have to drop my phone off and pick it up at a later time. If you need any electronics fixed, this is the place to come! LifeLine is a LifeSaver! Thanks Daniel! read more

I'll spare everyone the details of my very long day of trying to get my phone fixed, but I ended up at LifeLine and was incredibly pleased with my service. The place is super clean, the guys that worked there were friendly and fast, and while I have no idea what a phone microphone should cost (what was broken), I walked away paying $40. Obviously that is so much better than paying full price for a phone or adding a line to our account. Will definitely come back with any future phone issues! Cheers- Heather read more

Had a phone that got dropped in the toilet; luckily it still worked with the exception of the sound/speakers. Brought it in and Daniel was able to check it out and fix it quickly. Thanks again Daniel. read more

I brought my iPhone 6 in to fix what I thought was water damage. I had called the day before and spoke with Daniel. I met Daniel the next day and he gave me a quick diagnostic and let me know my iPhone was fine. He then went on to take the time to explain a few things about my iPhone that I wasn't aware of and did so without making me feel ignorant. He was extremely helpful, courteous and quick. Although it's about a 40 minute drive for me to get to the store, it's definitely worth it. I'll be sure to go back with any issues regarding my iPhone. read more

I will cancel my Apple care since it's worthless and take all of our phone repairs to Lifeline. Thank you!! read more

I called Lifeline before driving there to look at getting my mac fixed and shopping for a tablet, I spoke with Tristan on the phone who was super helpful and answered questions without making me feel rushed. I then decided to come into the store. Tristan was not only super knowledgeable but also extremely efficient. I ask a lot of questions about technology and like to have fun when I am shopping. He showed me a few different tablets and explained each of the pros and cons. He even went online to show me different prices and reviews of each. Great experience because of Tristan. I cannot say enough good things about the LifeLine store in Jacksonville, FL. Daniel is a real professional who is knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go that extra mile to help. I was always pretty leary about repair shops, but if other LifeLine shops are like this one, I would recommend them all. Definitely the go to place for all technical repairs. read more

I took a work in progress to Doug and he fixed it. I had a broken screen on an iPod Touch 5th Gen that I attempted to fix myself by buying parts from eBay and watching videos on YouTube. After two attempts I was unsuccessful, so I called around and researched many repair places in Jax, and it was all the 5-star reviews that made me choose LifeLine Repairs. Doug fixed the iPod Touch in about an hour and his price was very fair. He also discounted me on some other items that I purchased. I high recommend this repair company over any other in Jax. read more

Would highly recommend Lifeline Repairs for all of your phone repair needs if you live in the Town Center, Tinseltown, Southside area. They had the best pricing for repairing my Galaxy S10 rear glass panel, and even put on a front screen protector that I brought at no charge. The technician finished in less than 15 minutes, most of the other places I've been to in the past take an hour or longer, and also charge more. read more

Daniel did an awesome job fixing my phone! I was so impressed with same day service and the price. I HIGHLY recommend!

I brought an iPad in that was pretty damaged. I was told by another repair shop the back case and screen would need to be replaced and the turn around time would be 2 weeks. They were able to salvage the case that was bent (saved me $$), get it done in 1 day, and price-matched the quote I received from the less professional iPad repair shop, and they provide a 120 day warranty. read more

I spilled coffee on my phone and was worried I would have to spend +$160 at the Apple Store to get it serviced. Daniel took a couple hours and $70. Broke my screen on my iPhone 7 a couple months ago and finally wanted to get it fixed. Went on Yelp , got several quotes and ended up going with Lifeline Repairs. Super happy I did. They quoted me on Yelp at $99 and said it would be a quick twenty minutes. I went on my lunch break around 2pm. I immediately was greeted, said I needed to get my screen fixed. TIP- make sure you get a quote on Yelp from them to receive that 99$ discount . They currently have a 50% off screen protector w/screen replacement special listed on the board. He offered to put the screen protector on for $10. I declined as I have one at home. However, he said if I brought mine in from home that he would put it on for me! Before I could finish eating my sushi on their couches inside, he was finished with my screen. They said 20 minutes but it was less than 10! Highly recommend! read more

I panicked when I got my iPhone 5 wet and the touch screen wouldn't work. The Verizon store was no help and referred me to Lifeline.
