The service is nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm, genuine welcome that instantly made me feel at ease.     Run as far and as fast as you can unless you want your device held hostage until you are completely…read moreok having your device held hostage while the tech accesses and enters their own SELF-REVIEW ON YOUR PHONE, while you stand there DEMANDING THEY STOP WHATEVER THEY ARE FURIOUSLY DOING SOMETHING WITH YOUR PHONE LONG AFTER WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED. This young man, SABBIR, refused to stop speed-typing, scrolling, even with increasing more forceful demands to STOP. I did get a "one moment" index-finger gesture while Shabbir continued! He had my phone for a least a full minuted while I and demanding, leaning over counter to see what he was typing and the scrolling. Finally, he stood up, stepped up to counter, both hands gripped holding MY phone, rotates so screen is facing me, his right index finger now pointing to my phone's screen and there he had pulled up a Google review screen, MY name entered as though it was my Google account and he had given himself a 5-star review. SCREEN REPLACEMENT FOR IPHONE 15PRO not even TEMU quality!! Sabbir's older brother, Movarek Shebab, admitted days later he had had words with his younger brother over this criminal act of refusing return of phone with repeated demands. Refused to honor warranty. Demanded someone NOT Sabbir to either properly calibrate their crap screen or replace it. No show when I returned to store on Wednesday and even after Walmart manager met with Sabbir & had to demand name & number of actual manager after he repeatedly lied. Then after I had to finally have that nonworking POC screen replaced at the Apple Store after checked out by Best Buy Geek Squad and diagnostics confirmed phone itself registered no issues, our last day in Jax I returned to the store, demanded Sabbir get his manager in the store or on the phone--I was not leaving until! Spoke to Shebab on his brother's phone set to speaker and my phone right there next it as I said, I'm recording and pressed the record button, Sabbir standing right there. To stop further legal action, just refund my money. APPLE keeps all screens they remove, even if new crap not damaged! THEY were provided with all evidence but refused to refund. Now let the chips fall where they may as APPLE was notified, in turn they advised filing police report (which was already on my next to do and then FCC. It was JAX sheriff's deputy who also advised filing formal complaint on line with the FTC, which that is now done! You're better off wrapping cracked screen with clear wrap until you get it to a REPUTABLE shop that BACKS up their product and warranty and don't commit blatant crimes by confiscating your phone! They say first time for everything but this was just beyond over the moon. AVOID TALK N' FIX in that Jacksonville, Fl area. There is more than this store so maybe others NOT connected to these two brothers are ok but I wouldn't trust these two with looking after their own mother.

In a fleeting moment of anger following a very minor disagreement on Friday evening, I placed my iPhone face down on a table a little too hard, and what followed was utter devastation for me. My phone screen, although not cracked, went to half-screen, then it went gray, then it went black and did not come back up. Oh no. In the midst of the pandemic did I just kill my iPhone? OMG!!! What was I to do?? After spending over an hour on the phone with Apple Saturday morning and following multiple "tries" to fix the problem, I was told my phone was dead. Black screen of death. A brick. I could take it to a service provider (nearest one was St. Simons Island because the Jax Apple Store was closed due to the pandemic!!!). In doing so I'd also have to erase the phone then remove it from my account. This is fine, IF I HAD BACKED UP MY PHONE with iTunes (like I was supposed to). Nope. This is fine if I used the Cloud. Nope. Lesson learned loud & clear. TWO years of my data, including notes, pictures and videos of my kids during birthdays, Christmas, school plays, etc. was LOST. Yes, I cried. I prayed. And I probably cried again. But something told me not to erase it. So I refused. Despite being told by THREE people it was what I was going to have to do. I researched online. Could my data be recovered? My phone would still ping when checked, and I could shut it down (home button locked) and get it back up (home button unlocked) even though it didn't register as online, and I couldn't get it to connect to iTunes, I had hope. Didn't I? Surely I wouldn't lose two whole years of memories. It turns out I did have hope!!! I found LifeLine Repairs after searching for data recovery in Jax and sent a message to them (through Yelp! whoo hoo) regarding my phone. Daniel quickly responded that it might just need a screen change, so I should bring it in for diagnosing. What? Did I hear that right? That's it? I didn't "break" the phone but I just messed up the screen. Really??!!! My hope escalated as high as the Eiffel Tower, and I just about burnt dinner running around the house telling my family my phone might be saved. One thing though...they were now closed until Monday. So I had to wait....hope...pray...all through Saturday evening and all day on Sunday. I can do this! I had hope. I went in on Monday Morning and Daniel checked. He didn't know I was praying in the lobby. He came back out and said all it needed was a screen replacement. I teared up and said I could cry (but I was not gonna let him see me cry, I'm an ugly crier). Anyway, back to the point...he fixed my phone within 20 mins for less than the cost of what my insurance would've charged me to replace a cracked screen and also less than what a replacement phone would've cost me. I could've professed my love right there on the spot (and maybe I did express over and over how much I appreciated him and that he made my day). Instead of professing love though I did promise to give him a worthy review. So here it is, in detail. DO NOT LOSE HOPE at least until Daniel says so! He surely provided a life line (see what I did there?) for me when I was in my own Lion's Den and I cannot thank him enough. He and LifeLine Repairs will undoubtedly receive many referrals from me to anyone who mentions a problem with their phone, and I hope if you have a phone issue and took the time to read all of this you will run to LifeLine to get yours checked. (Side note: I came straight home and backed up my phone so all is right in my world again. Thanks again so much Daniel!!!)
