Hyper Kidz is our favorite indoor playground. It used to be Ball Factory, but after just one visit, this place became my son's number one favorite! The playground is huge and truly has everything. There are so many different activities for kids: a small basketball court, a soccer field, trampolines, slides, a zip line, and a giant interactive screen where kids can throw balls -- literally everything a child could want! There's also a separate area for babies and toddlers, and everything is so spacious. The entire place is designed really well, with plenty of room for kids to run, play, and explore. When it comes to pricing, it's also more affordable than many other indoor playgrounds. So for now, this is definitely our go-to place, and we don't plan on switching anytime soon! read more

We had an amazing time visiting Hyper Kidz last weekend! Pro tip: go early! We went right when they opened at 9am on a Sunday and nearly had the entire place to ourselves for the first hour. This place is HUGE and has so much to explore! There are lots of seating areas for adults as well. We stopped by on a whim with family and friends, and overall, it turned into quite the experience. When we purchased tickets, we were asked if we wanted to participate in an egg hunt happening about an hour later. Our kids surprisingly weren't interested, so we opted out of the additional charge. About 20 minutes later, an announcement was made that anyone not participating in the egg hunt would need to leave by 6 PM--giving our kids only about 30 minutes of playtime at full price. This wasn't mentioned at the door, and had we known, we likely would've made a different decision. Thankfully, my sister-in-law spoke with the manager, who was incredibly kind and understanding, and she allowed us to stay. Meanwhile, there was already a long line forming outside for the event. As the egg hunt began, we watched from the small children's area, and it quickly became chaotic. Kids were upset they didn't get eggs, parents were frustrated, and employees were scrambling--even having to run out and buy more baskets mid-event. It became clear this is a newer establishment, and having been part of opening a business myself, I know firsthand how challenging that can be. There's a lot of trial and error, and this event seemed to be one of those learning moments. Unfortunately, we even witnessed a guest throw a basket at an employee, which was completely unacceptable. Despite everything, the staff handled the situation as best as they could. They were doing their absolute best with what seemed like limited support, and every interaction we had with them was positive. I truly felt for them--they were trying, and it showed. I have a lot of empathy for both sides, especially when kids are involved, but I hope this experience helps them improve future events. With better planning and communication, this could be a great place. And honestly, I wish more guests had shown the same level of patience the staff deserved. read more

We joined a couple of friends here during opening week--I didn't realize it had only been open a few days! There were quite a few families here but it didn't feel overcrowded on a Thursday evening. If you haven't already signed their waiver (available on the website), you can do so before you pay the entrance fee. There was a charge only for the children, not the parents. They also have a large room where you can place your shoes and belongings in cubby holes and hang coats. There's no shoes allowed past the entryway, and you'll need socks on. There are a bunch of areas in which kids can play. There's a ball pit, which our kids had a lot of fun in. They had an interesting addition to the ball pit (or at least one I hadn't seen before) which was akin to digital whack-a-mole; you could hit the images on the wall with the balls from the pit to earn "points". There are several slides throughout the facility, and kind of a maze of spots in which to climb or play. I was watching my daughter like a hawk since she's only two and some of this is on the second level of the play structures, but she was good at listening. You'll especially want to keep your younger kids away from what looks like a crochet funnel, because although it looks like there's just a dip in the "crotchet" and kids can climb out, it actually goes all the way down to the bottom and we didn't realize that; it could have been a major danger for my little one. Maybe when she's older. There are at least one or two areas set aside for smaller kids as well--honestly, probably the safer places for my kiddo to have fun right now. One area has a couple slides and a small ball pit for the little ones so they don't miss out on ball pit fun. There's at least one or two dance machines, and on one end of the building a couple of areas for kids to kick around a soccer ball or shoot some hoops. There are a couple things they can work on. One is an area to have some snacks. I'm not sure if I missed one or not, but it would be helpful. If we'd stayed any longer I'd have had to give my kiddo something more substantial than an applesauce pouch. Maybe the benches and stuff in the "lobby" area are for that purpose. The second item, a bit more concerning: It would be a nice improvement if where the slide ends and the mat begins at the bottom of the slide there was a smoother join. On one of the slides my daughter almost flipped forward, and she caught on a different slide as well but not to that degree. Both times it was her foot that got caught as she was coming in for a landing. We stayed for 1.5-2 hours and were on the go the whole time. The price was not bad at all, given there's no time limit (not to my knowledge, anyway). There's plenty of parking since it's in the middle of a shopping center, where it's located on the east side of Marshall's (could be easy to miss in the corner). The hours are really good, since they're open until at least 8 p.m. and that makes it somewhere I could easily take my daughter after work. I think we'll probably be back. read more

Fun! Clean! Huge! Reasonable price! Our two boys had the best time! We will definitely come again!

Absolutely filthy. I came on a Monday morning with my 2 year old and there was one other family there. Upon first entering, I was excited- the place looked huge and lots of areas for kids to play and explore. Once we stepped foot in one of the areas I was immediately disgusted by the filth everywhere (which was how every play area was). I even took a wet wipe and wiped down the 3 steps up to the slide that my daughter was crawling up. Looking around, there was popcorn, hair, dirt, dust balls everywhere. The place hasn't been open more than a few months and it looks like it has been a few years due to the filth. If they have a cleaner, they should be fired. And the staff that was walking around chatting with nothing to do should instead all have spray bottles and towels in their hands and cleaning. We were excited for this place to be finally opened near our house, but every time we went there ended up being a disappointment. The place has been opened for a couple of months but already is very dirty and obviously is not taken care of properly. We had a birthday party there too, the staff couldn't figure out which party room we are assigned too for a while and it was so disorganized because the overbook on parties while can't manage them properly. And today was our third and the last time there. We came for the egg hunt event, I bought the tickets for my 3 kids online and also paid for Easter baskets. So they could of repaired for at least the amount of people who pre paid for the event ahead of time, but instead I was told that they just don't have baskets anymore and just gave me plastic bags. It gets worse... it was so many children there but almost no eggs, nobody could find any of them. Only a couple of children got 1-2 eggs. So I walked around the place full of crying little children who specifically came that day for the event and got nothing for it, besides long waiting line to get in and empty baskets. It was also saying in the description there will be Easter party like arts and the bunny but there was none of that, they literally got nothing done for the event. I felt very bad seeing all the little babies and kids just crying and not understanding why such a fun time turned into unorganized disaster. We are definitely not going back there anymore, it was one disappointment after another. It could be a really great place but unfortunately it's just a big mess. read more

Just opened and took my almost 2 year old and had an absolute blast. There's so many things to do and different playgrounds for different ages, interactive ball pit, slides of every size. And it was busy but you don't actually run into too many kids because it is such a widespread system of jungle gym. Loved it! read more
