My daughter had a doctors appointment in Skokie and I had bribed her with a fun place that I didn't realize wasn't open on Thursdays, so in my panic, I hopped onto Yelp and came across Hyper Kidz. I'm so glad I found this place! We were only able to stay for an hour and a half, but we could have easily spent a day here. My daughter had so much fun with the interactive games and endless play with the slides and obstacle courses. I appreciated how friendly the staff was, and how diligent they were with keeping the space clean. Hyper Kidz has to be the best indoor kids play place we've been to, and trust me, we've been to A LOT across multiple states. This place is a bit of a hike for us, but I know we will at least be visiting once a year after my daughter's yearly ortho appointment. There's also a separate area for babies and toddlers, and everything is so spacious. The entire place is designed really well, with plenty of room for kids to run, play, and explore. When it comes to pricing, it's also more affordable than many other indoor playgrounds. So for now, this is definitely our go-to place, and we don't plan on switching anytime soon!

I will start by saying I had an issue with my reservation and the staff was extremely sincere and worked around my challenges without any attitude or reservation. I got here on a Saturday for the first session at 10:30 am and I thought it's the perfect day for this- cool and 80. Just as a disclaimer, you should wear comfortable clothing that is breathable because you're in for a workout. I have a 5 and 2 year old- it took my two year old a lot of time to get adjusted to it because it's not the usual bounce house we go to and so many colors and things to do, it was sensory overload. Not the fault of the business, just my kid in true two year old behavior. We got out of the fun box to get a shaved ice and ended up going to the "obstacle course" section of Fun Box which was a big hit for my two year old. He literally went through the obstacle 3 times (I was drenched in sweat as a result) My five year old loved it too- the only thing I would make a complaint against is that there were not nearly enough basketballs for the hoop area which is a huge hit. I get it if balls were lost or broken but it would've been nice if there were more balls. I read some of the comments about water getting stuck on the inflatables or that there were some dirty areas but truth be told, I go to a lot of trampoline parks with my boys and this is by far the cleanest one I have ever been too. Yes, there was a little water but you're outside, you will have a little bit of bugs or water here or there but that comes with the territory. We can't fault the owners for natural occurrences. I had an amazing time with kiddos and I wish I had gone sooner because it was a lot of fun. If you can handle the heat, I would highly suggest going in the morning because it's not so crowded and you don't have to wait long to use some of the amenities but be warned it gets super hot super fast in the morning and as a result, the plastic gets hot too so it's a little tough going down some of the material. Staff was all around in different areas, I'm not sure what they were supposed to be doing, but they took up all the shaded areas, so the kids couldn't even go up some of the towers. Front staff and snowcone staff was super friendly, and the bounce house itself is amazing. Cost of water and snow cones are pretty typical of any "event-type" place, so I wasn't surprised and they gave you a ton. I had the kids eat some, and I sat with it in the tent as they went back and forth playing and getting a few bites of snowcone, and it lasted nearly the entire 1.5hrs. My older son was very excited when he saw some clips about this place and we decided to pay a visit. We came on a Saturday. There were many kids, with a wide range of ages, on the giant jungle gym, the large bullpen with an interactive screen, and the young toddler area. Check-in involved with waiver-signing and socks purchasing for first timers. I believe a pair of socks cost $3.50 and each child's admission was $18.50 (as of 02/14/26). There yellow-bee socks seemed to have a good grip on the bottom, but we will see how they would hold up after a few washes. My kids were a little hesitant to get on the big boss jungle gym first, so they started playing at the toddler area to condition themselves. Eventually they released their inhibition and were climbing all levels numerous times. My 2.5 year-old, small-statured younger son went on the suspended bridge repeatedly until he overcame his fear, so it was impressive to see his progress when facing challenges. For parental supervision, for the most part, parents would be able to watch their kids while sitting down at the perimeters. I spent majority of time chasing my two boys while slightly bend down at the jungle gym the entire time. Adults were able to get on them and they seemed sturdy, yet for tall individuals there would be no way to stand straight inside this if you were to constantly go after the kid(s). Everyone in my family enjoyed "Kids Play Hive," but one star was deducted because the lack of boundaries on protecting the little ones who also wanted the opportunities to play. There was a group of older boys and everyone was very energetic and running fast throughout the venue. When they got to the young toddler zone, they took up space reserved for the little crawlers and walkers. While it didn't significantly impact my experience, but that would be something for the management to think about for crowd-control purposes. There was also a birthday celebration going on and the invited guests got to use the party room. Overall, "Kids Play Hive," in my opinion, is a well-designed indoor playground with convenient parking. We don't live awfully far away and will definitely come back in the future. The snacks and beverages they sell also are priced reasonably. Guests are allowed bring their food and there is a designated dining area.

My kids loved the play land and the kids seemed happy and busy enough. The person in charge of our party was Jean. Jean was amazing!!!!! She led that party like an expert. After the kids played in the play land Jean took them into another room to play some games using the parachute. They play a game of "popcorn" and they sang a song about farm animals. At the end of all that fun my daughter got to sit in the middle of the parachute and pretend she was on a flying carpet! It was so beautiful and she loved it. After the parachute activities, the kids were led to the bathroom to wash their hands and then back to the party room to have some pizza and juice. After they ate the kids were allowed to play a little bit more in the play land. Finally Jean called them out and had them grab their shoes and head back to the table for cake and ice cream. The cake was beautiful and enough for 20 kids. They even had 5 candles for the cake. When the party was over Jean gave the kids a goodie bag and a balloon as they were leaving! She was amazing. Also when you party is over you aren't rushed and kicked out! There is parking in their lot or on the streets. It's also located in a safe area. The community center hosts other events that I will definitely check out as well. Reasonable prices and clean, big space make this an awesome event choice.

I didn't quite understand until I got there. There's a very short and small water slide. There are many kids who want to ride it and no one to monitor it. I stood to watch my child and signaled when to come down (which I didn't mind). However, other kids were piling on and on, on top of each other, but it wasn't my job to tell them what to do. The slide is also rather fast but the landing area is short so many kids go to the concrete area and could easily get hurt. I wish the splash pad and playground would connect better instead of a long walk, but I could see the reason because splash pad requires pay whereas playground doesn't. It was worth a visit. It was clean and well maintained.
