I love the concept - however the party room situation needs much improvement! We were scheduled for a set time the was informed we had to "wait" until a room became available, which was 1 hour. Not a good look! Then I believe there is a Max number of people that can be in any location according to the fire department. Whatever that number is I believe it's not followed it was WAY too many people/kids for the staff to manage. Now let's talk about the staff, where is the customer service? Don't get me wrong. Some of the staff were extremely understanding and nice however others looked at you as though you were crazy if you asked for a tissue or napkin, directions or help. We got to do better.

I say this because there is supposed to be a "dedicated party host" and I was under the impression that I would be speaking to that person.

Play Street Museum - Severna Park

Play Street Museum is a franchise that specializes in kids' play areas that encourages imaginative…read moreplay and fun settings. The one in Severna Park is one of my favorites to take the kiddos because it has a great mix of interactive toys and buildings. Just to name a few: - an area for crafts - one of those motorized air funnels that you can put a scarf in - ice cream store - grocery store - doctor's office - vets office - a recycling truck with slots to sort different recyclables - a play house with kitchen stuff - pretend firetruck and firehouse with hose and slide You can also opt into extra add ons that allow you to participate in crafts you can take home (think DIY activities like slime). I like that there's only a finite number of spaces for time slots so it never gets too crowded. You should check their website before going just in case they're sold out (I believe they do allow walk ins though). They also have punch cards for a slightly discounted rate. It's usually around $18 for a single visit, but comes out to like $15 a visit with a punch card at the time of this post. I would totally recommend for little ones, but they may start to get bored for any ages 5 or older.

When we arrived, we were greeted with an easy check-in process. If you haven't signed the waiver online, you can quickly scan and sign it on-site. The staff was friendly and explained how everything worked. The space itself is fantastic! It's an open playground where kids can freely explore and play to their hearts' content. There are fun zones for every interest--a craft area near the cubbies, a science section by the check-in counter, and a little shop filled with books and small activities at the entrance. There's even a food token system: you drop the token off when you leave, and each kid gets a free snack, which is such a thoughtful touch. The restrooms are conveniently located at the back near the slide area, so everything you need is nearby. Overall, this is a well-organized, kid-friendly spot that offers so much for little ones to enjoy. We'll definitely be back!

Would I recommend this establishment...absolutely! Can't wait to go back!…read more I found this place by searching for play activities near Columbia mall. I had never been here and wasnt sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Location: Inside the mall, on the first floor, right outside the Nordstroms. Easy to find. Cost: Worth the entrance fee, both child and adults have to pay. Fair price. There are also take home activities and play that cost extra, such as slime, treat making, soap making, and more. These extra activities are also fairly priced and and so much fun. The entrance fee to the Kids Playseum allowed you access to the establishment nextdoor, Playseum upstairs. They also have playseum bucks as well. Staff: Super nice, helpful, experienced and attentive staff. Everyone one we interacted with for our time there was fabulous. We were able to go to both the Be with me playseum and the playseum upstairs. Cleanliness: The kept a tight shop. The toys and amenities were well kept, organized, clean and in good condition. Options: There were so many rooms to play in, so many cute toys, books, dress up and imagination play. My favorite was the ice bucket where the fish were kept in the Safeway. Super cute! The girls loved playing here and definitely want to come back. Overall wonderful experience!

When we entered we were given $8 of their currency to spend inside. Most items or adventures are $3-5. My daughter ended up making her own body scrub and slime. While I like the idea of have kids "budget" their fun I wish it wasn't that serious. I can't imagine it would cost them much more, especially based off what they charge for birthday parties. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and everything inside was clean and santized. It would be nice if they placed a handwashing station in the middle of the venue. Currently there's a bathroom in the far corner that seemed very sketchy.

The kids have so much fun and it's around $8 per kid for 2 hours of jump and play. They just love it and I love having 2 worry free hours the staff is so nice and helpful they play with the kids and keep an eye on them so I don't have to worry if they all go separate directions. Highly recommend!

Rolly Pollies was booked for their open play and I remembered The Bounce Party in the mall. It is also on Groupon. Win win. It is located by Gold's Gym. They have three bounce houses and a toy section for two and under. The bounce houses are old but still in working condition. The best part was honestly the staff. Usually when I visit places for open play the staff does not interact a lot or they just talk to each other. The girls working on Black Friday were very attentive. We were there with two other boys but they kept an eye on everyone. I have a 4 year old and a two year old. When one wanted my attention the staff watched the other one. It was great. I would definitely recommend if you need to go some where to burn the kiddos energy. Check out groupon. 5 visits for $25. I did have to pay tax $2.50. No big deal. Each visit will give you two hours. Can't beat it. Here is a pic of the party room.

Not that it's excusable but my expectations are fairly low for a place that smells like feet haha. They've added a new play area at this location, that in combination with the parking, makes it better than the Waldorf location for me. This review is mainly for Ant who was present the entire time I was there for a birthday party. At 7pm it turns into a glow jump which my daughter so was geeked up about. Might have to run it back for her birthday this year. I didn't realize Ant wasn't a guest until 30mins after I arrived, that's how much he was interacting with the children. I saw him at various times during my visit just making his rounds and assisting children as needed. There was a moment when I couldn't find my son and I asked for his help, he stopped what he was doing immediately to look for him. Shortly after I looked up and he was listening to my son go on and on about sonic the hedgehog, going as far as to compliment my son on his retelling of sonic stories :o). He was also in the party room assisting, triple checking on each kid, refilling drinks and passing out cupcakes. One girl even made a mess on her face and he stopped and helped her get cleaned up. I would come back to this location just for Ant, I cannot say enough nice things about him and his customer service. I made a point to note his name before I left, and he alone is the reason I'm writing this review. Thanks Ant, you're a gem.

Like when you have lifeguards at the pool who suck out all the fun...the second half was like that. Lots of unnecessary whistle blowing (literally, they blow a whistle). The first half was SO fun! It's nice they don't make you buy their specific socks - we wore some from another trampoline park. There are a lot of options for what kids can do - there's an indoor playground areas for the littles (and second half they started measuring kids and kicking out the tall 5-year-olds who are literally at the line, which felt unnecessary). There's of course the trampolines, and the freestyle area has a netted area (which they said little kids can't go to that side during the second half). It is harder to keep eyes on kids here because there's so much to do but they have an upper deck where parents can watch - that's nice! I prefer the trampoline parks that have more trampolines, and based on this experience I probably won't go back to this one unless it's for a party, but it was a pretty good experience. We came for a party - the pizza was good and service was great!
