Then I found the Fitness Studio at Annapolis. Not only was the space intimate and personal, so were the trainers. Unlike the old gym, the fitness studio is a "one on one" hour exchange between a professional trainer and you. What began as a once a week session "until I got back into shape" is now a twice a week session for life! I replaced my guilt of an unused impersonal big box gym membership, with real results. All of the trainers at the Fitness Studio are committed to the health, fitness and overall quality of life for their clients."

Quality of Life!…read more I've probably joined 20 gyms in my life and maybe worked out a couple of times a month in each while a member. My wife and son joined Annapolis Athletic club several years ago and had been telling me how great it was So I finally broke down and tried it when they gave me a couple of free passes. They had lots of equipment available so I had no problem using exactly what I wanted to use Without waiting. After my work out, I tried the dry sauna in the locker room. It was really roomy and clean. They also have a large eucalyptus steam room which I enjoyed as well along with lots of private showers stocked with spa quality aloe soaps, shampoos and conditioners. I was also impressed with the little amenities like free mouthwash, shaving cream, hairspray and deodorant. As mentioned in some of the other reviews they have a full-size fluffy towels in large quantities that are constantly replenished, Not those little wash cloth ones you get at other Gym's. There is also a small TV lounge in the locker room with sports of need on at all times. After finishing in the locker room I sat down in the café area where they offer free locally sourced coffee along with tea and high-speed Internet. Forgot to mention, they have really good professional trainers if you want to use them or not and tons of classes going on at all times. They also have a really nice looking fully staffed kids club where I see parents dropping off the little ones though mine is well into his third year of college. I ended up joining about six months ago and now work out at least five days a week. I feel a definite improvement in my health. Bottom line, if you can afford to pay a few dollars more then those crank em through Gym's it's well worth it joining AAC in my opinion. What impressed me the most was that there was there's always equipment available anytime of day I do agree that it's not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive for what they offer.

But I get so frustrated with how many gyms use the cheap Matrix cardio equipment. It's also in an odd location, but likely why they have so much space.

From the first greeting when I arrive until the goodbye when I leave, the service feels friendly and genuine. The entire facility is always clean, well maintained, and kept in excellent condition. The equipment is top-notch, and there is a wide range of options for strength training, cardio, swimming, and fitness classes. I also play pickleball here regularly, and the pickleball program is one of the main reasons I enjoy this location so much. The staff is always helpful, and the courts are excellent. I have played at other indoor facilities and on outdoor courts, and these are the nicest courts I have experienced. Parking is also easy. There is a large garage with plenty of available spaces, so finding parking has never been a problem. The price is definitely at the premium end, but you are getting a premium facility. Between the excellent staff, high-quality equipment, lap pool, extensive fitness classes, pickleball courts, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere, I believe the membership is well worth it. Life Time Annapolis is much more than a standard gym--it is a true luxury fitness center.

Been working out at EIF for just over 5 months. It's been worth every penny. I was once very active…read morein the gym and between having kids, a business or two and some prior health issues I had no shortage of excuses for skipping the gym. So I searched out a trainer and fixed appointments to both keep me motivated and frankly because I knew I'd go if I was paying more than a gym membership. I looked at many options in the area and settled on EIF based on their reputation, individualized process, the others I looked at just seemed to be too cookie cutter and cared less what I wanted from my exercise. Originally I planned on getting in the swing of things and then going back to working out on my own at a monthly gym. I now look forward to working out and plan on continuing with EIF indefinitely. Not only do the trainers keep me pushing as hard as I can but they are knowledgeable and helpful on every subject from form, to diet to helping with injuries and preventing them. I've gained muscle, lost weight, and considerably lowered my body fat. My energy levels are off the charts and it's been very easy to accommodate the timing, no more excuses to skip the gym. Joe has been very easy to work with on scheduling and tweaking my program when needed. Highly recommend working with EIF whether you want to lose weight or move more weight....or both.

Recently, she invited me as her guest, so I agreed to give it a try. I was forewarned that the class was relatively intense but worth it, so I showed up mentally prepared to work hard. The studio was clean. The check-in process was simple. The class began on time. The instructor's brief overview of the class and demonstration of the moves before class helped set the tone. During class, she helped with exercise form, especially for novices like me. She also assisted with setting up the reformer, if needed. The class was moderately paced, accompanied by good music. While in session, the room had ambient yet visible lighting, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Following class, I felt the impact of every move. I experienced some soreness for about two days, but it wasn't too bad. I felt the class made a difference. I have attended many exercise classes, but with this one, I felt the impact days later. The instructor was great. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I will try it again.
