I attended an introductory Pilates class at the suggestion of a family member, who had been raving about her experiences here. Recently, she invited me as her guest, so I agreed to give it a try. I was forewarned that the class was relatively intense but worth it, so I showed up mentally prepared to work hard. The studio was clean. The check-in process was simple. The class began on time. The instructor's brief overview of the class and demonstration of the moves before class helped set the tone. During class, she helped with exercise form, especially for novices like me. She also assisted with setting up the reformer, if needed. The class was moderately paced, accompanied by good music. While in session, the room had ambient yet visible lighting, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Following class, I felt the impact of every move. I experienced some soreness for about two days, but it wasn't too bad. I felt the class made a difference. I have attended many exercise classes, but with this one, I felt the impact days later. I went back in January for my very first time, and I must say this was such an amazing workout. The instructor Eboni was super energetic and made sure to offer modification throughout the workout. She also did a great job, check in with all the first timers before hand. This was a great motivator to keep myself in shape throughout the year, and take additional classes once I returned home to Chicago. read more

The classes are fine, except they do not stretch before the class starts which I think is very dangerous and irresponsible of them. the main problem is their employees and business practices. Absolutely terrible business practices. As the person stated previously, they lock the door remotely and there is no staff to help. No staff to call. They do not answer the phone. They only email you. There is always miscommunication amongst the employees, one instructor told me "all classes will start on the Half hour" . days later I missed a class because the class started at 10:20...what happened to all classes start on the half hour? At solid core, who knows? They're clueless. Bunch of bird brains run this company. read more

The instructors are better than a tour guide at Disney World, the music is pumping, and the energy is always welcoming! As a personal trainer myself, this class kicked my ASS. I felt like a new born baby gazelle on the reformer. Uncoordinated and like this was my first time exercising Awesome challenge for the brave looking to strengthen the often neglected muscle groups in an interesting way! I gotta go back!!! The cueing is confusing the first time around but definitely something I'd be better at understanding once I take my second class!!! read more

Really enjoyed my experience!!! I've been to Pilates before but in another state. The instructor (Jaime) was very friendly and nice, with great energy. She gave me a quick break down prior to class and great instructions on the positions throughout class. I like that the machines are in one row with mirrors on both sides to see your body form. Solidcore is one of the best workouts ever! I love this new studio and location! I would go to a few of the DC locations and either had to pay to park or have to arrive an hour early to find parking. I came to this location for the Yelp event. It's located in the heart of Annapolis Harbour Center so lots of (free) parking! Our class was led by Coach Natalie who was so motivating and positive. It is quite pricey but I hope to return! read more

I didn't realize until a month ago that there was a Solidcore in Annapolis. A fried of mine has been doing it in DC for years and loves it!! I, on the other hand, was very intimidated by the idea since I don't have a regular workout routine. Finally, curiosity got the best of me (what exactly is Solidcore? What does that machine do?) I decided to get the 2 classes newbie trial package from MINDBODY app (to check schedule and book classes. Such an awesome app by the way). Had my very first beginner class 2 weeks ago with Natalie. I love it!! She explained everything including how the machine works, what moves she'd do etc at the beginning of the class. Very thorough and detailed. Once we got it going, she'd go around checking to make sure we got everything right. I love how my whole body got a workout, rather than specific areas compared to other workouts. I wasn't pushing myself 200% like some people did, but with what I could and did, I still felt everything the next a few days. Now I just need to go back more often! read more

I have never been this obsessed with a workout class before!! I went 6 times last week - that's my best workout record in my entire life. When I first joined, I was kind of confused on what to do but the instructor was nice enough to correct my posture and showed me the correct ways of doing the movements. I signed up for the unlimited monthly membership and am planning to go at least 4 times a week - that's how much I love it!!! read more

My body was shaking!!! My muscles don't hurt yet but I know they will! This workout is awesome. The instructors are motivating, fun and yet really want you to get those results. This workout is amazing and will kick your butt EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's pricier than most group classes but you'll also get a better workout here than anywhere else. All the instructors are great and the schedule has plenty of morning and evening classes so I'm always able to find a time that works into my hectic schedule. read more

Love this place! The classes are brutal but thankfully they go by quickly. The staff is really supportive and friendly, no snobbishness or cliques that I can see. I have never felt a "hard sell" for products or services. Only reason for less than perfect score is that it is expensive, especially compared to monthly gym membership. But you can probably get rid of that membership if you go to class regularly! read more

A friend of mine who lives in annapolis but works up in Baltimore told me about solidcore. I decided to give it a try with her one weekend and I will tell you it's one of the hardest workouts I've done. It pushes your muscles to failure and works your core like no other. Being a retired D1 athlete, I thought it couldn't be too hard but I was wrong! This works muscles in a different way. I've been commuting 40+ minutes each way to go to solidcore annapolis 2 times a week for the past two months. It's so worth it! read more

I started going to [solidcore] about 2 months ago and it is safe to say I'm hooked! I have never done a workout like this where I feel so satisfied and accomplished once it is over. I can feel my body getting stronger with every class and I can definitely notice improvements with each exercise. This is an awesome full body workout! The coaches are super motivating and always push you to go harder than you thought you could. While the machine can seem a little initimidating at first they are great at explaining how everything works before your first class, going over any tricky moves before class, and emphasizing form throughout class. The 50 minutes fly by and after your first class you'll be hooked. read more

I love the Annapolis studio and the killer workout! I have taken classes with (3) different instructors and loved all of their classes (well, maybe hated them a little as my body was shaking!) I was worried that the difficulty of the class would cater to only the teeny-tiny and super in shape, but it doesn't, it will just help get you there!
