First time here. Never heard of it until I went for a birthday party. Everyone gets a wristband when you enter. For the birthday the kids are given " money" that they can use for different activities such as making slime, snow or soap. You can purchase more play money if needed. There is a station where you can decorate cupcakes. There are several stations throughout that the kids can use their imagination in; dentist, race car, grocery store, playground, fishing, coffee shop, theatre. There's a section in the middle of the room for the library to have story time. There's bunny rabbits and iguana was a big hit and attention seeker. Not sure if they are e er brought up but would be cool for the kids if they did. It's definitely a place that young children could be entertained for. Couple hours.

I love the Playseum! This was our first time at this location-which I believe is fairly new-in the Mall at Columbia. I visited the locations in Annapolis and Chevy Chase with my 5 year old, but those locations have since closed. NOVA would benefit from having one! Anyways.... It's a pretend play concept. Each little area has a theme and then there are also add ons you can purchase, such as slime making, decorating cookies, and lip balm making. $15 is the price for all-day play for ages 1 and up. You can leave for lunch-chick fil A was our choice at the food court- and return. Every hour they bring out the animals (bunnies and reptiles) for petting. The places we played were: -camp ground (fishing, cookout, birds) -auto shop (also included a Little Tike's slide) -grocery store -dentist office -doctors office -ice cream shop -farm -fire station -Mexican restaurant -Italian restaurant -diner -beauty salon -vet shop -theatre/dress up -police station -Grandma's house (if you visit you will understand) There's a library as well but also books of the theme in each room. We also spent time in the back room with tables that have games and manipulatives. Despite being far from our home, it was a treat to visit and we will return!

This is my first time actually going into Playseum ( my daughter was too young to get the concept ) and let me tell you that I was amazed. Kids love to play pretend and this is the best place for their imagination to go wild!! They have a fun selection of different rooms geared towards different make believe scenarios. ( grocery store, jail, salon, a few kitchens, camping, dentist doctor etc) They have fun add on service ( like nail polish, decorate your own cupcake etc) as well as water and snacks ( which is always great to have readily available) It was $15 per person which at first I thought was a little high since it was my husband myself and my daughter and it's not like my hubs and I were going to really play in there...We definitely played a ton and ended up skipping the last few rooms because we realized we had somehow stayed over two hours!! I had so much fun playing with my little and I can't wait to bring her back when she's a little older!!

I took my kids here during a week day and we had the place to ourselves! They had so much fun exploring the rooms and doing the activities. There are so many things for the kids to explore you really could spend an entire day. They even have snacks for sale if you end up staying a while. I will say the pricing is higher than indoor playgrounds in the area because each individual is charged. The owner was very kind. We did cupcake decorating, pet some bunnies and played with kinetic sand at the hands on station. This would definitely be a great place for birthday parties.

It's fun to play with wigs at the barbershop.

Not worth the price. 1 kid and 2 adults was $45. Ripoff. Adults paying is ridiculous. Kid got bored in 15 minutes

The store is very large (two stories) and so well stocked. We found lots of classics that we remembered from our childhoods and even made a purchase for ourselves (toys are for adults, too, right?). If you need to purchase a toy for someone or if you're just looking for something a little fun as a treat, stop in. They might have something surprising and fun!

We surprised our daughters with a Friday afternoon trip to Old Ellicott City to visit this toy emporium I saw on Instagram. We were met with what I believe to be the largest selections of squishables I've ever seen. I even left with a sizable one myself. My kids were pleasantly surprised by all of the options and had fun exploring both floors of this establishment. The prices were on the higher end in comparison to Amazon but who wants to wait for the mail when you can just go home with what you want? :-) There appeared to be only one person manning the place at the time but he was friendly. It wasn't busy at all. I heard it's only been open a year or so and I can see the growth potential if we keep spreading the word about this hidden gem. I'm excited to bring others back to find their new squishy friend.

After living in the area for years, I always passed by the whimsical exterior. I finally ventured in for the first time and wish I had done so sooner. It not only has the charm and magicalness of walking into a witch's cottage or a fairy garden shop, but is also a time capsule where you can find calendars from 2007 with whimsical fairies that you can still buy today. In other places, I would absolutely be put off by the old merchandise, but in a place like Forget Me Not Factory, it absolutely fits the vibe of the establishment, and I actually really enjoyed finding old things for sale there. This place is multi-level and can take quite some time to explore. If you are looking for items for a fairy garden, you will definitely find it here. Honestly, there is so much in here that it can be overstimulating. I know I wandered about this space for quite some time and contemplated buying so many items in here. Everything miniature you can think of is in this space. A lot of the items in here can possibly be used to construct Christmas villages as well. If I remember correctly I was mesmerized by the Ghostbuster items. I just couldn't justify the prices they were asking for some of the items. In short, this place is quirky and definitely worth a stop if you want to grab a unique gift for someone. Or if you have a little one with you that might want to indulge in some make believe.
