Came here to play the Monopoly themed escape room. There were 5 of us in our group for the room…read more I would say this room was very hard. I've done escape rooms with myself and another person, 3 people, and 8 people. This was a struggle. It was fun once we realized what a clue was for. But honestly the clues weren't obvious sometimes for what the clue went to. A few things in our room were malfunctioning during our time, which caused us to think the answer or solution we did was wrong. This caused us to waste time. At one point, we were asking for help. A different game master came on to help. Then it switched back to our game master but we had to repeat our question to get help. It was fun in the end but the clues felt like they weren't obvious to help us get to the solution or the next clue. There were also several objectives in the room that took all 5 of us at once. Some parts we could have used another person or two.

At first I thought it was a little pricey, but they make art so easy, have all the supplies, and offer so much support, so I think it was worth it. The sticker stencils were fun to work with. They helped a lot with the projects, but probably means there is a little less room for customization that isn't super clear when you're signing up for the class. We went on a Thursday evening and it was just the two of us. The owner and one other employee were there. We got so much personalized attention, the projects were cute, we learned a bunch, and they gave us options for each part of us doing it or them supporting us with it. There were tons of cute examples in the shop for inspiration and for purchase. The playlist was fun and the ambiance was cute. Perfect place for a party. I hope to be back.

We were greeted by 3 staff members (apologies I don't remember their names). I initially thought this was just a venue to smash stuff but it was explained that this is a mental health venture aimed at spiritual healing. After signing the waivers and donning our PPE, we went in. The wooden structure isn't huge so you cant get running starts or make any long over hear arm movements, but it ended being just the right amount of space to get your smash on. Initially I was caught up in the novelty of smashing things, but a point in time came where that novelty faded and I found myself tapping into an aggression and emotion I did not go there with. It wasn't until I stood there out of breath with my hands sore that I truly understood what this place was for. That session provided a space and avenue for me to truly let go, for just a little bit. If you haven't done that recently (or ever), you need to book a session to understand what im talking about. A challenge was issued to me to put in work on the water heater and I made a decent hole in it but that thing was tough. They sure don't make em like they used to.

The site was well furnished with safety gear (goggles, gloves, etc.), tools (bats, sledgehammers, etc.) and objects to smash (microwave oven, water heater, glass bottles, etc.). It was stress relieving and fun with the opportunity to damage and destroy inanimate objects in a normally civilized world. I definitely recommend if in the DMV area.

There were also hamster ball races. Adult night runs from 7:30-10. The first 30 minutes is check-in and you can play a few of the small games (ping pong, cornhole, archery practice, basketball, etc.) while you wait. My one critique is that between the games and rounds for the games, there was, in my opinion, an unnecessary amount of wait time. I feel that the staff could have been more proactive in cleanup/reset, and a bit more organized. Other than that, the staff had really great energy and were helpful! Overall, I recommend visiting Wonderfly!

Went for a sunset cruise for a friend's birthday on 6/29 and it was so nice. The ride is roughly 1.5hrs and you essentially loop the Potomac at Georgetown. The captain was very kind and didn't bother us much outside of giving us the safety precautions and telling us to have a good time. I would definitely do this again.

The biggest complaint our party had was for the DJ that didn't cater to any of the passengers request. For a 2 hr ride he played a mix of jungle techno only. Everyone had to endure the music only he wanted to play and that no one was vibing to. We were a group of 14, basically the whole boat and not once did he play music to cater to their passengers to have great time from the beginning. No one danced! I was expecting a party on the boat! As we were 5 mins from docking back, he decided to switch it up a little and played 1 of the requested songs but still fused in jungle techno.. A good Dj reads the room.
