There are a lot of activities for the children and the adults were also enjoying themselves talking and some were even jumping with their children. It's a great place for a party. The children made new friends. I definitely would recommend this location because it's so close to the mall. I enjoyed watching the families.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sky Zone Columbia…read more On June 18, I purchased two Summer Passes for my kids for $107.48, which were supposed to be valid through August 31. We arrived around 6:45 PM, and the front desk employee scanned our passes and told me they had expired. I explained that I had purchased the Summer Passes just a few weeks earlier and asked if there might be a mistake or a system glitch. He insisted the passes were expired, so I asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager was no more helpful. She repeatedly said there was nothing she could do because the system showed the passes as expired. I offered to show my receipt and my purchase confirmation to prove the passes were valid, but she refused to look into it. Instead of trying to verify my purchase or resolve what appeared to be a system error, she simply repeated that I didn't have a valid waiver. What made this experience even worse was how I was treated in front of my two 8-year-old children. My kids know that I teach them to always be honest and tell the truth, and after hearing the employees insist that our passes had expired, they looked at me as if I had lied to them. I ended up having to show them my receipt and purchase confirmation just to reassure them that I had been telling the truth. It was embarrassing and humiliating. When I asked for a refund because they were refusing to honor the passes I had paid for, the manager told me I had "five seconds" before she would call the police. I was shocked. I never became threatening or disruptive--I was simply asking them to verify my purchase and resolve the issue. What hurt the most was that, even though I had proof that I was telling the truth, I had to leave for the sake of my children. I didn't want the situation to escalate in front of them. Instead, I took them home feeling humiliated, after they had watched me be treated as if I were being dishonest despite having my receipt and purchase confirmation. I have never been treated so disrespectfully as a paying customer. Mistakes and system glitches can happen, but what matters is how a business responds. Instead of showing any willingness to investigate the problem or help a customer who had proof of purchase, they chose to dismiss me, embarrass me in front of my children, and threaten to call the police. We left with two disappointed kids and no resolution. I cannot recommend this location based on the way we were treated.

Would I recommend this establishment...absolutely! Can't wait to go back!…read more I found this place by searching for play activities near Columbia mall. I had never been here and wasnt sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Location: Inside the mall, on the first floor, right outside the Nordstroms. Easy to find. Cost: Worth the entrance fee, both child and adults have to pay. Fair price. There are also take home activities and play that cost extra, such as slime, treat making, soap making, and more. These extra activities are also fairly priced and and so much fun. The entrance fee to the Kids Playseum allowed you access to the establishment nextdoor, Playseum upstairs. They also have playseum bucks as well. Staff: Super nice, helpful, experienced and attentive staff. Everyone one we interacted with for our time there was fabulous. We were able to go to both the Be with me playseum and the playseum upstairs. Cleanliness: The kept a tight shop. The toys and amenities were well kept, organized, clean and in good condition. Options: There were so many rooms to play in, so many cute toys, books, dress up and imagination play. My favorite was the ice bucket where the fish were kept in the Safeway. Super cute! The girls loved playing here and definitely want to come back. Overall wonderful experience!

When we entered we were given $8 of their currency to spend inside. Most items or adventures are $3-5. My daughter ended up making her own body scrub and slime. While I like the idea of have kids "budget" their fun I wish it wasn't that serious. I can't imagine it would cost them much more, especially based off what they charge for birthday parties. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and everything inside was clean and santized. It would be nice if they placed a handwashing station in the middle of the venue. Currently there's a bathroom in the far corner that seemed very sketchy.

While I didn't notice any active cleaning while I was there, it didn't feel gross and I didn't find anything questionable. My kids had a ton of fun and loved everything available inside. My kids are on the younger side. If you have older kids there are certain areas zoned off for younger ages. If I had older kids I might be annoyed that 1/3 of the place was not for them. I also noticed that I lost my kid most of the time. The play space is great and offers a lot, but it is really hard to keep track of your kid once they go in the big jungle gym. I also tried to follow them and it is not created for an adult size to fit.

When we first arrived, the entrance was pretty chaotic. Parking is limited, especially when birthday parties are going on, and the lobby felt very crowded. Checking in also took longer than expected because one guest ahead of us needed help completing the waiver, while everyone else waited. Thankfully, a manager stepped in and got our party checked in quickly. The shoe storage area was another bottleneck. Since each party has designated bins, there were a lot of people gathered in one small space, making it difficult to get in and out. Once we were inside, though, things improved. The facility itself was clean, including the bathrooms, and the kids had plenty of space to play. The birthday host was very friendly, but he seemed a little overwhelmed and forgot a few things throughout the party. It wasn't a bad experience--just not quite as organized as other birthday parties I've attended. Overall, it was a fun afternoon, and the birthday child had a great celebration. While I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this particular location, I would attend another party here if invited. I still prefer the Rockville location, which has been a smoother experience for me.

The experiments were led by three high school-aged young ladies, with help from the owner when needed. The young ladies did an absolutely amazing job; they were engaging and knew how to keep a group of 11 five year olds interested and on task the entire time. All of the kids (and parents) had a fantastic time. Logistics: The party was 2 hours; about 10 mins for everyone to gather, an hour and a half or so for the experiments, and another 20-30 mins for cupcakes afterward. We never felt rushed during our time there. The party room was immaculately set up when we arrived (table cloths, plates, napkins, cups, forks all provided). There were also tables available for food and gifts. They very nicely encouraged parents to stay out of the lab area (so the kids weren't distracted), but they weren't strict about this; there was also a large window in the hallway where the parents were able to see what was going on without being obtrusive. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience there. The ladies did a wonderful job!

While they have a few locations, this specific one is located off of Crain Highway. The front door is actually in the back of the building, and there is ample parking. Included in our package was exclusive use of the entire space, a bounce house, a ball pit, a trampoline, a slide, a climbing wall, a zipline, a swing, and so much more! Additionally, two dedicated staff members led circle time, a puppet show, bubbles, and parachute play. To top it all off, the reservation included pizza, juice boxes, and grip socks for the kids. I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff was incredibly friendly, there were a ton of games to keep the kids engaged, and the two-hour slot felt like the perfect amount of time. In fact, my kid didn't want to leave! If you have a little one, I highly recommend signing up for a class or planning their next party here.

This place has bags of chips. After moving past those 2 smacks to the face, I made the financially disastrous mistake of purchasing 2 Speed Passes: an "annual pass", 2 races, and a t-shirt for my son and me. After my money was gone I was treated to a delightful cocktail of fun-and-soul-sucking, corporate-liability legalese blended smoothly with a customer service style so cold and heartless it would make the Department of Motor Vehicles blush. The cocktail is called "Read the Fine Print Loser", is served frozen, garnished with a couple of the bartender's nose hairs, and poured directly onto your lap. The front desk staff are so robotic and rigid I wouldn't have believed they were human if not for the smirks on their faces as they treated me like a fly to be swatted away. My son and I were super disappointed after we learned we couldn't drive on the same track because they can't put junior carts and adult carts together. I offered to drive a junior cart, and the guys running the carts entertained the idea, maybe just to watch me squeeze my 49 year old butt into a junior cart. We were strapped in and ready to go, temporarily delusional about the strength of human reason, until a voice came over the cart guy's walkie talkie: "somebody from corporate" says nobody over 18 can drive a junior cart. "Well," I suggest, "it's literally only my son and I here, how about I just follow him in an adult cart?" "Oh no, we can't let an adult and junior cart on the same track." It was literally JUST ME AND MY SON in the entire place since everybody else in the state of Maryland is smart enough not to come here. I took a deep breath and calmed down, since I understand lawyers run the world and this place must have significant liability insurance. I did my 2 races against a couple strangers, my son did 1 then didn't want to do any more. He's 8, so fine. I asked the staff to let me use his remaining credit. "Oh no we can't transfer them" said the heartless robots at the front desk, an obvious ploy to make you come back, which definitely won't be So for $147 dollars, we got 15 minutes of racing and 2 t shirts, which we'll now use to wipe up the next time my dog pukes in the house. I hate you K1.
