When the plumber arrived, I walked him through the problem. He didn't seem to do much troubleshooting and appeared to be guessing what the issue might be rather than thoroughly checking. He quickly told me he was going to call his boss, Albert Diaz, for further guidance. After the call, he came back and began checking other faucets, but still only inspected one bathroom, even though the two bathrooms back up to each other. He gave me estimates for a couple of options he recommended. Because of how long the work would take, and because he had arrived late, I told him I would reschedule. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Albert Diaz asking what had happened. I explained my interaction with his plumber and told him that I felt the plumber was guessing and that I didn't feel confident or reassured by his diagnosis. Albert apologized and explained that the plumber was new and that he would work on additional training with him. I genuinely appreciated his response because I was simply providing honest feedback about my experience. The conversation changed when I began clarifying the estimates I had been given. It turned out that the plumber had mixed up the quotes, so I was trying to make sure I correctly understood the pricing. I asked, "Just to clarify, it's $500 just to run the camera through the toilet?" My intention was simply to confirm what the $500 charge covered--not to minimize the work or suggest that it wasn't worth the price. Albert appeared to take offense specifically to my use of the word "just," as though I was downplaying the service. That was not my intention at all, and I attempted to explain that I was only confirming the pricing, especially since I had already been given incorrect information. After that, Albert asked who had referred me to him and then told me that he would not be providing any services to me. I found the way the situation was handled extremely unprofessional. As a customer, I should be able to ask questions and clarify an estimate--especially after receiving conflicting pricing--without the owner becoming offended or refusing service. I was initially appreciative of Albert's willingness to listen to my feedback and address the training issue, but unfortunately, the way the conversation ended completely changed my impression of the company. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company based on the customer service I received.

Most recently, he installed a new water softener and took care of several other plumbing items for us. He has consistently been reliable, knowledgeable, honest, and very easy to work with. He communicates clearly, shows up when he says he will, does excellent work, and takes great care of the property while he's working. His pricing has always felt fair and reasonable for the quality and scope of the work, and I appreciate knowing that the job will be done right. He also leaves everything incredibly clean when he's finished. On our most recent job, he hauled away the old water softener, took all of the packaging and debris with him, and swept up afterward. It's clear that he takes pride in his work from beginning to end. After using Hartman Plumbing for multiple jobs over the years, I'm very grateful to have found a plumber I trust and feel comfortable calling whenever something comes up. Highly recommended!

Nolasco ecommended & Installed a Bradford White waterheater with a 4 year extended warranty…read more Required smoke detectors/carbon monoxide units were installed on ceilings in required rooms. The first female Arcadia City inspector complemented the quality of Nolasco's work. This is a family business since 2008 with efficient technical work by Aidan, Juan, Francisco & Luigi. The use of a pressure regulator Francisco discovered a low reading that was corrected by replacing the old one...to protect pipes at risk. I would highly recommend Nolasco for other single family homes in need of repair and maintenance. They also applied for the permits required and patiently answered my questions. The old waterheater was removed and discarded too. It is a big relief to have this work done well with strong customer service. I would recommend Nolasco to other Seniors who might struggle with experience in plumbing.
