We had come here for Afternoon Tea on a Friday at 12:00 pm for two people; it was $24.00 plus tax,…read moreper person. We each received our own pot of tea, which included unlimited loose leaf tea. Included in the meal were tea sandwiches, a variety of scones, and desserts. We loved all of the food items that were available for us to eat! The tea sandwiches were very fresh, with egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and turkey available. We were impressed with the presentation, along with the deliciousness of each piece. In regards to the scones, we were given a few different varieties, all of which were tasty, and fresh. I loved the cheese scone, along with the blueberry scone. The jam and cream on the side was the perfect touch to each scone, adding that 'wow' factor to each bite! We loved how soft the scones were, a definite plus when eating something that delicious. The desserts were all homemade, and quite immaculate; butter tarts, cookies, and brownies; very tasty! All of the food items were well-prepared, presented, and excellent! We were told that every item we had tried that day was homemade, which was a definite plus; we could tell that a lot of hard work was put into each food item that was prepared for us! In terms of the décor, we loved how simple, yet elegant, all of the items in the shop were. There were a lot of different items that I had never seen before, such as the stacked books with the words on the side, very creative! Customer service was top-notch; Maria was pleasant and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome during our entire stay at the café. I would highly-recommend the Afternoon Tea at this café; you will definitely get your money's worth, everything was top-notch, one of the best that I've ever been to!

Attended a wedding here in late June for one of my gf's besties…read more The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a quaint, outdoor terrace for ceremonies and a massive dining hall for receptions (adorned by double bars and washrooms on both ends. This wedding was quite big and although it was very spacious for the guests, admittedly, it was slightly hard seeing (and hearing) the bride and groom as they were on a raised center cove that was slightly walled off on the sides. The mics were also dying I think and needed the batteries changed out. Food-wise, it is a different story. 10 course chinese food dinner which you would think is pretty standard but it was actually quite hit or miss. I understand that portion control is typically a judgement call made by servers when they come around but our servers were quite inconsistent portioning out the food (at least at our table). I got 1 strand of jellyfish w/ my suckling pig. Multiple guests at our table also got uncooked e-fu noodles on their plate when the noodles came around (the noodles were literally crunchy still LOL). Fried rice was very bland. Crispy chicken was overcooked to smithereens. The guy sitting next to me had several shells and cartilage pieces in his soup that he had to pluck out haha. The rest were pretty good. So like I said, it hit or miss items. I found the bartenders on the left side of the venue to be far more professional and knowledgeable. Some of the bartenders working the bar on the right side of the venue were giving sass to a lot of guests (especially when they didn't know how to make simple drinks) which I was ok with but I could see a lot of guests didn't appreciate the added sass. For late night grub, the burgers were actually not bad! As a recommendation to the kitchen staff management (in case they're reading this), I know it's just late night grub, but if you gave the servers at the late night bar a grill to melt the cheese on the patties that would be awesome. They were there serving poutine and compiling the burger toppings anyways! Melted cheese on those late night sliders go a long way! TL;DR Amazing venue, food hit or miss. Would recommend for the venue alone (but perhaps explore w/ a diff cuisine or dinner vendor?)

I strongly recommend trying their Espresso Martinis. I attended a gala here and it was perfectly organized. The appetizers. Entrée and dessert were delicious and perfectly decorated.

Very nice and impressive venue. A nice, large reception area which was well-suited pre-reception…read moredrinks and appies. The main reception hall is quite large, with a ceiling height of at least 20 feet. The reception I attended had nearly 400 guests, and it didn't feel crowded at all. It had very nice lighting and fixtures and good ornamental touches. It wouldn't require very much extra decorating for anyone hosting. The built-in sound system was very clear and did the job well. On thing which doesn't necessarily affect guests, but they should still address is how incredibly slick and greasy the kitchen floors were. I was brining in some ornaments through the back and cut through the kitchen and I felt as though I could've slid through it like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. It's a big risk to the kitchen staff and a possible WSIB claim if they don't address it. I don't imagine the place is cheap, but it hits all the points one would be looking for in hosting a large reception.

The light and and chandlers style are older style and elegant. Nothing too exciting in the hall ways and the food was served in the hall way which I disliked. The service was slow as they kept running out cutlery. The food was decent, some of the dishes like fish fry and butter chicken were quite good. There is plenty of parking around the centre. The servers were quite rude in cleaning up the tables.

Gorgeous venue to play around with. Lots of room to add your own touch with decor and style…read more The place easily seats 200+ people. The parking lot has plenty of room. Bathrooms get messy quick and no staff was available for a while. There wasn't any organization so it was difficult to navigate for tea, restroom, food. The meals were catered in, buffet style. The hall staff are very zoned out and most of them don't speak English very well. This became difficult overtime. There was no refills of water, napkins etc.. You pay for the space mass. Everything else, you bring with you. Myeh. xoxo M.

After I strolled in and started snapping pictures two police officers asked if I was a parent or teacher. I was a little confused and told by the kind officers we were at a grade 8 prom. Turns out the one we were supposed to be at was just down the street. So this one was much smaller than the other Chandni that was having the prom. It was probably suitable for 200 person or less weddings, with your typical bar on the side and dance floor in the middle. The snacks were very tasty and kept us full before the real food came out, which was also good. The mango lassi was very refreshing since it was such a hot day and I was wearing a thick suit. I think I drank 10 or so.
