You can tell it was renovated but they cut corners everywhere in the room. Dead bugs, sheets have holes in them, place wasn't cleaned properly... now the pros is the lobby is nice, the room is huge (although it's wasted space), there is a nice tv, they tried to make it look ok.... in conclusion if you must stay in Bethlehem for a short stay then by all means this hotel isn't the worst in the area read more

If you want a spacious incredibly clean hotel room, then this is definitely the place to stay. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the layout of the room was excellent; there was a little divider between the bed and the couch/TV. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Fresh eggs, mini egg sandwiches with cheese and ham, pancakes, etc. Not at all your average continental breakfast. The hotel is also located right next to a lot of restaurants and shops. The area was quite bustling, and seemed pleasant and safe. Small note: Only soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in each room. You have to ask the front desk for the following: cotton balls, cotton swabs, earplugs, lotion, sewing kits, shoe sponge, shower caps, and toothpaste. You have to pay 50 cents for the following: comb, razor, toothbrush, emery board, mouthwash. Various medicines and other toiletries are available for $1 or more. read more

We stay here with work several times a year, and the staff is amazing. I could choose any other hotel in the area, but I keep coming back because of the awesome staff. Thanks!! read more

Outstanding service. Everyone is always friendly. Michelle, Jennifer, Brittany, Melissa and the whole team make being away from home that much easier. The rooms are massive and clean. Showers have good pressure. Free breakfast (stay away from the canned fruit though). This is the only place to stay in Bethlehem, no where else comes close. read more

The hotel is so unsanitary they never wipe down the microwaves or the elevators or the doors. There is only 1 microwave for all the rooms so of you have allergies it's bad bc the microwave is never clean nor no signs. They will not service your rooms it has to be every 4 days however if you there longer you gotta be on top of them. I asked to be on the list multiple time and never was put on the list. Pool is not open there neither when all the hotels in the area was open. The only three workers that was nice to us was Sandy and Katie and Kevin. Everyone else was so mean an disrespectful. There was no communication throughout the hotel. Also the breakfast was a grab and go and the sandwiches were soagy. read more

This hotel was great. Parking was easy and the rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They were all amazing. Kevin was awesome! read more

Best hotel service. Staff was professional and eager to help! I don't usually write reviews but I had to for this place. Staff was super friendly even ordering room service at 3 in the morning. My friend asked for an extra blanket but they hooked him up with a duvet blanket. I would definitely come here again when in the area. read more

For over 200.00 a night you would expect quality service and amenities. If I didnt have to stay here, I wouldn't. The room size and comfort of the beds is the only reason this place is getting 2 stars. Staff is completely untrained and useless. They couldn't even tell me how to call the front desk after bringing issues with the room/TV/wifi. Pool was out of service.for 3 days...TV went in and out of service. In order to get entertainment, had to go outside and watch the drunks across the street outside the parking garage which smelled like urine. Casey and Destiny were useless.at the front desk. read more

Upon our abrupt arrival the entire staff was extremely kind. Unfortunately I lost my mother unexpectedly and my family and I came all the way from Arizona to make arrangements for my mothers funeral. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating. They understood we were grieving and helped us in every possible way they could. They truly made the experience so much easier, and were so sympathetic to our situation. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for your hospitality! read more

Super clean and long room. Beds are super comfy. You park in a parking garage across the street, not awful but less convenient than a lot on property but they validate parking. Make sure to validate when you get into the building. Breakfast was good - has cereal, oatmeal, toast, eggs, waffles, sausage, juices and milk. Although it was mainly a good stay, the mini fridge in the room never got cold and the shower is weird, water gets all over the floor because it's a half door. read more

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! I had to stay here for 10 days for work and 2 additional long stays...absolutely love it. The rooms are clean and spacious. I love the gallery menu for when you don't feel like going out. Breakfast in the morning is usually pretty good and the infused water is delicious, so much so that k bought a similar infuser for home! The location is perfectly located walking distance to all of downtown Bethlehem! The times I used the shuttle: efficient and I didn't wait long. One thing I should mention though: the parking garage is sketch. To enter, you walk through a busy bus stop and it smells like urine and cigarettes and there were creepy men making perverted comments when my coworkers and I would walk by. read more

Great hotel great customer service from everyone who worked there. nice clean rooms great location to all the pubs and restaurants

We booked here instead of at the casino as we had a show. The parking lot is a municipal lit that also houses a bus stop. The signage in the lot leaves little to be desired. But after checking in and speaking with Chris the manager she explained where to park and where to exit so you are close to the entrance. The room was clean and very modern. The bed was amazing! And we will be back I'm sure. read more

Check in and out easy and quick. The parking is a little pain as it's across the street at multi level parking. AC is crazy loud and blow air super hard even if set it to low., never seen anything like that. Breakfast is very limited. Would probably stay at some other hotel next time. read more

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding in town, which also happened to be college graduation weekend. Right off the bat the staff was friendly and they remained friendly and accommodating throughout the entire stay. The hotel is located in excellent proximity to everything you could need downtown. We were very happy with the size of our room. My biggest complaint would be how loud the air conditioner was, which was right next to the bed. Another excellent highlight is that they offer gluten-free bagels and muffins at your request. My girlfriend was very happy to enjoy an Udi's bagel one of the days. For the rest of us, there is delicious breakfast sausage, eggs, waffles, Greek yogurt, an abundance of fruit and cereal. The shuttle service to the wedding services was very helpful and free parking at the garage next door was ideal. Overall, it was a great stay. read more

This is what I sent to Hyatt: I stayed at Hyatt place in Norcross, GA and it was WORLDS better than this location. The pre-billing for incidentals was an issue. I have NEVER had a hotel charge for these things beforehand! The television was a nice size but we could barely utilize it. It was way too dark..to the point where we could not really watch television. Maintenance came to try and fix it but they could not. Brightness and contrast is a basic function of ANY television. We have 3 LCD's in our house and they all have this function. Even our old tube televisions had this. Part of the reason that we stayed here was because of the television and the look of the room. Our hopes were up way too high as we though that this Hyatt Place would be as nice as the one in Georgia..boy were we wrong. We also forgot to leave the card on the bed so that the cleaning staff could change them. I brought it to front desk's attention and they told me that not only do the cleaning staff leave at 5, but they let them leave early that day because they were done with their work!! This is highly unacceptable! It was around 5 when we brought it to their attention. However, even if we mentioned this way before 5, we still would have no service because they let them go early. They should not have left early AND they should make it a point to tell guests or put it on a card that the maids leave at 5, so that they are not expecting service beyond that time. The hall was noisy in terms of the doors constantly slamming and the walls must be paper thin! Also, why did you design the bathroom shower that way? My husband is very tall and has broad shoulders and had to wash sideways because it is so narrow. I am short and small and both of my shoulders touched the wall and the glass shower door. The shower and door are not practical. The door covers about half of the shower (only the front half) so there were constant puddles of water on the floor. There was no lotion or shower cap provided either. read more

Lovely clean hotel. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Staff couldn't be nicer. By one and only problem was how hot room was. Couldn't get it below 68 Other than that it was a great place to stay in downtown Bethlehem . I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. They also have a shuttle service which came in very handy. They do shuttle to the sands which is a plus for many people and to nearby attractions. The lobby is spacious and they have 24/7 food and beverages. Parking is across the street in private garage. Enjoy your stay as I did. read more

Room had musty smell and gave my whole family an instant asthma reaction. I suspect there was mold. Also the Hotel allows people to smoke at the entrance. Hotel was courteous and refund the room. We left without staying the night. read more

Large room with a comfortable seating area which was perfect since I had both friends and family visiting at different times. Very comfy bed, clean and modern shower area. Very good breakfast, beyond of what many other hotels offer. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would return read more

Everything is set up just like any other Hyatt Place. I actually enjoy that. It makes me feel at home. This way I know what to expect and there are no surprises... Usually. They offer all of the normal Hyatt things -included breakfast, coffee, huge rooms, green apples in an iron basket, etc. I enjoy the citrus water station they put out every day here after the coffee is put away. You know, this particular Hyatt knows what's up... They put the coffee station right next to the door so you don't have to waltz through people to grab a quick cup if you don't want to eat breakfast there too. No offense, but there are some awesome local breakfast spots if you have the time. Try The People's Kitchen (1/2 mile) The shuttle will take you wherever you need to go so don't bother with a cab unless you want to. Or, if you dare, there is a bus stop across the street. I don't walk on that side of the road, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Someone else mentioned that the parking garage over there is shady and there are perverts calling out to you. I just avoid it if I can. Don't bother bringing a swimsuit. There is an indoor pool but it is surrounded by glass walls that are open towards the aforementioned bus stop and shady garage. No thanks. Bottom line... Large, clean rooms with friendly staff. Plenty of stuff to do around town. Just stay on this side of the street until you pass the buses. read more

Awesome, inexpensive place to stay. Staff, Pam and Jack, were especially nice. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was delirious and nutritious. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay great. read more

The concierge was quite friendly and ensured that I received the best deal on a room. The room was spacious, with a couch and small office area+ king sized bed. The heater was very loud so I had to sleep with it off but it wasn't very cold that night. The bed was memory foam and had a "hill" in it from being predominantly slept on the right side. The place was clean and the complimentary breakfast was decent. I would stay here again. read more

I've stayed here many times over the past several months for work. Staff is awesome, rooms are spacious, food options are adequate. I've noticed a few reviews mention the parking garage across the street as a negative... I was fortunate to have to parking garage in the winter when it snowed, not having to clean my car off in the am is a plus in my book! There are people that hangout by the parking garage (by the bus stop) that freaked me out at first but I realized they are harmless and mind their own business. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to a friend or coworker. Great location for accessing/walking to downtown as well. read more

The rooms smelled moldy and funky. Shower was bizarre and wouldn't close, there was water all over the floor. Views were of the trash. Would not stay here again!! read more

Bethlehem PA is a great little town with festivals scheduled throughout the year. This was my 3rd time staying at the Hyatt to attend the Celtic Classic which is held every September. I have never had any complaints in the times that I have stayed here. The rooms are immaculate; the beds are extremely comfortable; breakfast (which is included) is delicious; the staff are always accommodating and very friendly; and the location is perfect. read more

We were in Bethlehem to attend the Temptation/Four Tops concert at the Sands. A little disappointed w Hyatt. First - parking is a cross the street in a parking garage. it is free for hotel guest. After checking in we stopped at the bar in the lobby and they did not have what i drink. But they had the bottle on display. i switched labels and they did not have my mixer. i will say the bar/front desk people are friendly. Next the room - the standard room is partitioned off to allow a sitting area but the sleeping area and sitting area share 1 tv. not that it mattered to me there was not a tub in bathroom. just a shower. The free breakfast looked ok. i just grabbed the coffee. if u need a place for breakfast there is a place to the left of the hotel. Upside. the hotel is a quick drive to the Sands and the hotel offers free shuttle service. We did not use the van but we chatted w the driver one night and he seemed very accommodating. Despite my disappointment Hyatt may be the best for the money in the area read more

This is a great hotel for the price. The rooms are new and good size. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is great and steps away from shops and great eating. The breakfast is an added benefit with healthy choices and tasty too. read more

This hotel is located in a city neighborhood, closer to the downtown and historical district of Bethlehem. It's very clean ,comfy .I loved its location in one side u can see the mountain and in the otherside is the city. I booked online and chek in was easy except for the parking(though its right beside the parking authority ;)). Room was big but I dont think the interior designer did justice, cause they wasted lots of space on the sofa/ lounge/ sofa bed..they could have used that square footage for the bathroom by putting the sink in the bathroom rather than in the room... Otherwise rooms had everything like ~ hair dryer ,iron ,bathroom amenities ,flat screen tv etc. Breakfast was okay and everyone was well mannered. All in all my experience was quite good and productive. read more

One of the best hotel options in the area. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times over the last couple years (business and leisure) and recommend it for the consistency & quality of the service. Rooms are nicely appointed and well-tended. Lobby & breakfast staff is courteous and helpful. The free breakfast is better than your average at similar hotels and includes hot and healthy options. If you are planning a trip to the region you will be comfortable here. read more

This hotel was exceptional. The room looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean, spotless and spacious. Breakfast was enjoyable. And the shuttle service was extremely convenient as well as accommodating. The driver was also a very friendly polite and lovely man. read more

We stayed here for a wedding, and had issues with the experience. A tour group of kids staying in the hotel were playing elevator tag, and broke both elevators. We had to walk up six flights of stairs with our sleeping toddler. With such a large of youth softball players and their families, the staff seemed hesitant to enforce rules of noise and behavior. We did talk to the manager the following afternoon, but it would have been better to have the situation dealt with that evening. All of this happened the evening after the breakfast staff didn't have enough plates or food for guests. We usually don't leave bad reviews, but the man working the front desk that evening was rude, and more interested in not offending the parents/coaches than dealing with the other paying customers. We found others in the staff to be more responsive, but this was after the initial point problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I'm sure this would be a fine place for a business traveler or someone visiting on a weeknight. This is a relatively new property, but unfortunately this can only carry Hyatt Place for so long. We've stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn and the Staybridge Suites previously, and we'll return to one of those properties to avoid the headaches. read more

Clean rooms, and a very friendly staff. There was a mini fridge in the room, and the complimentary wi fi was really easy to use. The girl at the front desk was really helpful, and even offered discount ski tickets. Stayed only one night. Parking is available in a public garage across the street. They comped the parking tickets both times I left the property. Front desk staff very attentive and helpful upon arrival. Booked a room with a single king size bed. Very clean, Tons of amenities. Quality linens. Large screen TV in room. Very nice breakfast included with the meal. A great value for $119. Would def return on my next visit to Bethlehem. Keep up the good work! read more

really big rooms. very nice layout. internet speed is slow.

Stayed here with a friend on New Years Eve (12/31/13). We had a night at the casino planned. The Hyatt ran a shuttle to and from the casino throughout the night. We got picked up and dropped off door to door. It was extremely convenient and the driver was incredibly friendly and kind! The hotel itself is beautiful and beyond worth every penny we paid ($275 including taxes and fees). I wish I could remember the name of the man who checked me in and out. He was very nice and polite. The late night woman was friendly as well, and we were able to buy little snacks when we arrived back around 3:30 am (cheesecake and cookies). The hotel was quiet and clean and the room was HUGE and very nice. Again...more than worth every penny. The beds were very comfortable. We had a sitting area with sink, counter, and mini fridge. There was a one cup coffee maker and plenty of coffee and mugs. Check out wasn't until noon, which was awesome after a late night out. The hotel itself is just off Main Street. I grew up in Bethlehem, and I can tell you this is not a bad part of town. Its right within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. We totally enjoyed our stay and are already planning to stay here again during Musikfest. I'm also planning to stay here next time I'm in town with friends. Highly recommend! read more
