I did not get an updated hy vee card, waited twenty minutes on the phone for customer help. Most likely I need a hy vee card to be issued to me at customer service in the store and just not be brushed off. I probably never had a card to begin with. Well, this is review is in regards to the pharmacy. I have seen a decline in actual customer service in the last 6 months. It all started with their silly app that you can request refills on. My husband and son cannot use it because it endlessly wants them to identify themselves on a loop never letting them in. The pharmacy verified their identities but still the same issue. They said they filed a IT ticket but since nothing has actually been done about it ever I highly doubt that! Because we cannot do it through the app we have to call which now is through an automated system that is of no help and I usually have to speak to a pharmacist anyway. They misread one my prescriptions and I was not getting enough medication of which took almost two weeks to get fixed because they do not carry it usually and have to order it and they had to correct the billing with the insurance to pay for what they screwed up. One prescription of my husbands was for some reason sent to another HyVee and we asked for it to be moved to the correct pharmacy which never happened. Then today! I came to pick up a prescription for my husband and they told me they didn't have anything. Well I don't know what I am there for so I called him and while on the phone the person was screaming at me from the computer across the pharmacy with questions I told her I didn't have the answers to and needed to ask him! She did this 3 times. Of which we found they filled it at the wrong pharmacy yet again because they didn't move it like we had asked them to. Then my son has virulent allergies and requires a lot of decongestants to get through the spring. The doctor gave us a script for sudafed since it is controlled more than opiods now and they treated us like we were drug addicts when we tried to give it to them. I know the law but the doctor said the script would help him get what he needs for a month without us having to go the pharmacy each week. They said we are not touching that script (like I created it on my own computer). We only sell over the counter. I get that but there are many scripts written for OTCs every day. Ultimately I found out this is a HyVee policy not to accept scripts for OTCs not a state law. They just chose to talk to me like I was a common day criminal instead of treating me with some decency and respect. I suggest maybe asking why it is okay for people to have hundreds of opioids in a 30 day period but a person with severe allergies cannot have 60 tablets of 12hr sudafed for the same time period. This is ridiculous! read more

I had never been to this Hy-Vee before but it was right near Pet Supplies Plus so I decided to stop in for a handful of items. Not used to the layout in this store but was able to find what I wanted pretty quickly due to the good signage. I noticed they had nice wide aisles. Produce and bakery seemed to be on one side with frozen/refrigerated on the other and everything else in between. Mix of both self check and full service checkouts. Good experience. read more

Sweet sour chicken, lo mein noodles, vegetable egg roll and a fortune cookie...plus I was able to practice my chopstick skills! (I am still struggling) great place for quite relaxing quick dinner after picking up groceries...nice space with booths and tables, TVs and condiments on the table. Hy vee pharmacy is the worst pharmacy in the city and the one i am referring to is the one one 132nd and Dodge. I received 2 text messages on 12/27 and 12/29 saying my perception was ready. I even called them to make sure if it was ready to be picked up and they confirmed it was over the phone and be 2 text messages. I called just because i always get texts saying they are ready and 75 percent off the time they never are and i have to wait 30 minutes on my lunch break and i always get back to work late. O just went there on 12/30 showing them that i received a message saying it was ready. They won't fill it because i got a 3 day supply earlier in the day at urgent care because i was out because Hy-Vee transferred my money prescription to the wrong pharmacy 20 miles away last week. So today with phone calls and texts they said it was ready. I'm told them i always get 90 day supplies and i wasn't asking for that or any more medication that i was prescribed. I simply wanted my other 20 day supply because i was in the area and figured i would get it because i don't have a car. They were extremely rude, and said that i was trying to get more pills than prescribed. I said that i was just getting the rest of my prescription and nothing more. I have been to that Hy-Vee before and sometimes they don't have enough to fill a entire prescription and that as soon as they had the rest i could get them. They never said that i have to wait until my tiny amount i was given was gone. So they refunded to give me it even though i usually get a 90 day supply. They cursed at me and made me feel that i was an addict trying to get more meds than prescribed. That's terrible to treat customers like that and i will be contracting the BBB filing a complaint and i will never go to Hy-Vee again in my life and I'll tell everyone one I know about this and will be blasted every form of social media so that people that need meds don't get treated like low life pill seekers because I have never been treated like a low class citizen and you need to treat people like human beings so I hope you lose a lot of customers. Have a terrible now year and I hope karma makes you miserable read more

This place stinks the employees smell like drugs and alcohol to the point that the entire store has a weird smell. They even had a few empty bottles in the bathroom that someone left out on the sink. Also make sure to check the dates on the products you buy here as I saw some taco shells that expired 5 months ago. read more

Moved back home and so now this is my grocery store again. I actually shopped here 25 years ago. But with my grocery store I just moved away from, I was being spoiled just a little bit I'm having a hard time finding stuff that they don't carry that I'm use to. But overall I'm pleased with this store. Surprised so much has changed and been added, like a Walhburgs Burgers. I'm actually quite pleased with the large alcohol department. I'm a craft beer enthusiest and they have a fantastic craft beer section. read more

the absolute worst place I have ever shopped at. the employees are awful and insanely rude especially the old lady . to make things even worse several people have been complaining for months are still here and still causing problems. this isn't even the extent of the problems I have had here in just a single night as I also had to deal with expired products on the shelves and prices not matching the price tags when ringing them up. but the absolute worst part about this store was reading all of the reviews this place has and seeing how little they cared about the customers to let this many people have this many problems and the best they can do is copy and paste a response and then ignore them. read more

This is by far the worst Hy-vee I have ever been in the management is 100% useless and loves to lie to your face about things that happened as well as refuse to fix any issues you have. Not only that but they refuse to communicate with you at all if you try and contact them via email or phone number despite the fact that they keep copy and pasting it to every complaint they receive. Even worse yet most of the food on the shelf is expired or over priced compared to the other stores like family faire nearby and they have none of the above issues with management or bad employees so why should anyone waste their time shopping here? read more

A really great place to shop most of the time but I would avoid shopping here close to closing time as they have a really rude old woman who works here and complains about every customer as well as talking about very questionable things with the other employees. I do not do my shopping here much but I do pick up dinner quite often. The Chinese food is still some of the best you can get in Omaha. When they have burnt ends, I'm in heaven. I would suggest you look for coupons or the specials. Tonight I got the eight piece chicken bucket (spicy). Used a coupon for $7.99. More than enough for two meals. They sell rotten overpriced produce. I have vision issues so it's difficult to see things at the store. I count on a store as expensive and highly marketed as this one to ensure that only fresh food is on the shelf. The green onion bunch was rotten on the inside and the bagged salad was the same. I will not be buying produce at this HyVee in the future. read more

His name is Anthony and he is intellectually disabled. He faithfully worked there for around 5 years as a dish washer and was let go following a shift where he was accused of stealing a "canned coffee" from outside the break room. Typically there are "open" (unsellable) items left in the break room for employees. He saw the package was open and thought it was up for grabs. Took one and drank it. Went to work, at the end of his shift he was told to sign a paper (that he can't read) and told not to come back. Nice work Hyvee. After my florist sold there family business, I went to this one. I specifically stated how I wanted the arrangement but upon it's delivery it was comply divergent from what I express in words and exhibited by a photo. Upon delivery it was just a mixed arrangement missing the background of the purpose....very disappointing to say the least. The heritage significance was lost as it just looked like a bunch of flowers put together. Perhaps one should look toward a family own florist rather than a corporate one...I know when I place my next order, it will not be here. read more

Such a convenient location and a renovation to boot! I visit this Hy-Vee about every two weeks to get the groceries that I am unable to get at Costco because there's just really no reason for a one person party or even a two person party to buy perishables in bulk and I just love food too much to let it go to waste. Even before the renovations began at this Hy-Vee I loved the atmosphere here and the customer service is really warm and welcoming. It reminds me a bit of the customer service at Safeway back home in Honolulu. Anyways, my favorite places to stop by is the deli section to get some sliced meats and cheeses, the meat section ( the guys in the meat section are pretty knowledgeable and helpful here selecting the best cuts for whatever you plan to concoct in your kitchen), the bakery for some of their little specialty cakes,I highly suggest trying their cupcakes, and of course the produce section! Now that they have begun and are halfway complete, I think, with the renovations it has only added to the already great grocery store there was. I stopped in to grab some groceries and decided to walk around the 'new' parts and I especially liked the frozen and refrigerated section, there are more aisles to look through but everything is organized and easy to find what you're looking for. I also love the produce section they seem to always carry fresh veggies and fruits. And lastly, now that they have a larger selection of ready to go meals and an Italian and Asian take out section with a bigger sit down area there's almost no reason to venture home unless you are making something special for dinner. I have yet to try the Italian part but I have tried the Asian meals and it's pretty darn good! The staff here are really nice as well and I know I will come back for more sesame chicken some day soon. But before I do, I think I will try one of the pastas or pizzas from their neighbor. Odd, right?! I'm writing a review for a dining establishment within a HyVee. But odder still, is this new sit down restaurant that's not completely sit down. What do I mean? So, you can mosey on in, be seated at a table, peruse the menu (which is limited and mostly comprised of burgers and their own "brand" beers albeit a seemingly full wine/cocktail option behind the bar) OR you can order your Chinese and Chicken take our in a styro box and cart it in to dine. Perhaps this new forum will take-off, but I'm used to the open cafeteria style eatery. Will folks know to bring in their styro-containers? What about the waiters? Are they being compensated enough to serve your waters with that styro-encased meal to even get a tip? Thus is the confusion of the HyVee Market Cafe. Burgers were on the salty side (shoulda gone with the styro-encased food option, maybe). Service was quite top notch, so tipped accordingly. Let's give them a few months to work out the logistics...then we might revisit. read more

This Hy-Vee really needs a new entry because their renovations make this store a completely different place. I used to shop here twice a week years ago when I lived in La Vista. For the past few months this place has received a complete make over and it is nothing like the old place. I don't even know where to begin on the differences. The Meat counter, the Seafood counter, the fresh cooked meals, the cafeteria, the Health Food section are all top notch. They have a new Wine & Spirits department, but they could have made this so much better, it takes away from the new experience. I went in there and the lady behind the counter never even recognized my presence, she was content on reading her monitor instead. Even if I had asked her about beer, though, I was quite confident she would have no idea what an IPA was. This is so disappointing, since I would have given this place 5 stars if not for this fatal flaw. read more

The Market Cafe. Went to breakfast after mass, as we often do. We were first in restaurant, placed our order and waited. And waited. As we noticed those who came in after us being served their food, I approached a waitress to inquire about our order. She turned to manager?, who walked by to kitchen. Only then did our food come, with the explanation the one of the entrees had been dropped and needed to be remade..ok, but 20 minutes with no explanation. And to top it off, my wife's omelet had the wrong fixings. So that needed to be remade. The waitress was apologetic, and offered to comp the meal. The manager? Never came out to help rectify the situation. I normally would let it slide, but this now the third time something like this has happened in the past several months. read more

Went here for breakfast. Seated quickly and were eating within a couple minutes. The food was pretty good. Their specialty omelet menu looked amazing; and I cannot wait to try them all. My only complaint was the bacon was way to greasy. Staff was friendly and the coffee kept flowing. I will definitely be back. Still; a restaurant in a grocery store just sounds funny to me. I enjoy shopping at this location. It's close to my home and my work. The cashiers are always so helpful and friendly. Produce selection is delicious, I enjoy the deli, Italian, and asian hot food offered. The salad bar is perfection. Fresh veggies, huge selection of salad mixing and toppings, fresh fruit, and so much more. Shopping can get a little confusing, some items do not make sense as to their location, so the first few times I need a new item can be a little difficult (along with the last three times asking an associate for the location and they needed to find a manager), but once I learn where a product is I can easily find them the next time. Really that's my only issues, so 5 Stars is well deserved! read more

I have come here 3 times in the last couple months so I could give a fair assessment. If I could give half stars I would give a 2.5 overall. I am bumping up to 3 because their coffee is decent and they serve Coke products. The problem here is that the food is not outstanding it's just OK. In my opinion when you have that kind of situation, the thing that will keep me coming back will be exceptional, friendly, over-the-top, consistent service. Well, you won't find it here. I am a wounded vet that has a personal mobility device that allows me to shop without pain. I use this two wheeled self-balancing device everywhere including the zoo, Costco, Bakers, Wal-Mart, on military bases etc. The manager of this store told me that I am not allowed to use my personal mobility device at her store. She refused to say why and became upset when I pressed the issue. She told me that I must use the carts they provide, which I do not like and am unfamiliar with. I was treated like they did not want my business. When I asked to speak to someone above her, she said there was no one above her. The manager even went as far as to say that I must give them a letter from my doctor stating that I cannot shop without the device which is not the case. I am mobile, it just hurts for me to walk. Wanting everything your way is one thing, but denying a wounded vet his mobility device that he is familiar with and uses everywhere is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I ate here for the first time for lunch. I had a pretty pleasant experience. I honestly didn't realize that it was a legit restaurant, so I went with the buffet. On the way out a snagged a menu to look at for next time (no I didn't steal an actual menu haha). I am eager to go back and order from off the menu!! The product selection is always good. They have a wide range of healthy options and really seem to be current on all the latest item/trends. Gluten-free, dairy free, low carb etc. Customer service is really a plus here. The staff have gone out of their way on many occasions. Once they were out of the it on sale and we asked if they would mark die a similar product to the sale price.... They did! recently I ask the manager for a staff shirt that they don't normally sell. It was the #hy-chi shirt. The manager followed up with me letting me know he was working on getting her one. Anywhere else would have just said "no. We don't have those" he called back yesterday to let me know they got one in. Deli products are well priced and fresh. Store is always clean. Can't ask for much more. This is the second time in 2 weeks I have had to walk out after going in for the salad bar. The lettuce is pretty much inedible. And this is at busy lunch time. It's like they put the expired lettuce from their lettuce bags in the salad bar. Which is probably exactly what they do but at $10 for a small salad you should not be getting expired lettuce. Needless to say I'm not wasting my time to come here for lunch anymore. To bad cause I came here like 2-3 times a week for a salad. read more

Especially for the price this is a great casual sit down restaurant. The menu is limited, but specials mixed in frequently keeping things fresh. The staff is nice and.accommodating and the restaurant always seems to have people in it without being overcrowded. My wife and I always eat the boneless wings which are priced very reasonably especially with their $10 all you can eat option. It is rare that my wife and I can have a nice sit in restaurant and be out in under $25. The buffalo sauce is very vinegar based, but worth it nonetheless. The breakfast cheeseburger is also fantastic with a fried egg, gouda cheese and bacon. read more
