Well... at least it's not Walmart. For this particular Bakers, I don't have the greatest of things to say, but I'll throw it a bone. Tips : Their chocolate is ALWAYS on sale. For a boujee chocolate eater like myself, I'll go broke over a $3.50 bar of chocolate, however bakers always has Theo on sale - 2 for $5! A steal I'll take! When it comes to discounts, they always have great discounts ready for the taking. In terms of produce... well, the 99C /lb sweet potatoes and red onions are their greatest hit (best had in season). Other than that, they can have decent asparagus, but I'd stay away from their fruit. Almost every time I eat it, I regret it, and it's typically always gone bad. Sigh. This particular Bakers also has an intense gnat problem, or just bug problem in general. Almost all the produce has some kind of gnat infestation going on. If I'm honest, this location just feels dirty and I don't love going unless I have to. Quite a bummer. Make sure to really be in the know about prices because sometimes what is on sale is actually the normal price for an item and you're not actually getting a deal - so shop smart. read more

Kroger Rx Savings Club is all about them continually taking money from you once you get signed up. My mom used this club, and after she passed away they would not cancel her billing without a death certificate. I had taken my power of attorney into Bakers, but they had "no record of it on file". The customer service at the toll free number was just as useless. read more

Bakers has gotten totally out of control on prices oscar myer smokies all day everyday at Walmart are $2.50 at bakers they are $3.29 less than a mile apart and there is plenty more. I shop for most needs at Aldi's. read more

I have only shopped at Bakers's a few times, and when I did, I found out that they have amazing produce, and when I was looking for things, I have to say that the isles are a little confusing, but their customer service when they came to help me find some things was great. The store is clean and very safe. I would recommend it to others. Their food is high-quality food the best. I really like going to Bakers. I don't live too far from Bakers so I really do like going there. Their prices are right they're not expensive like some other grocery stores around herein Nebraska, so if you've never been there, I'd say go there. Also, they do have the specials that are like buy four get one free or buy five and save. I don't know they have a lot of different specials and it makes much easier for bigger families I recommend them. read more

Baker's has become my go-to grocery store. I got used to going to Kroger stores while living in Texas and really like the company itself. They do a lot of charity during holiday times and their workers are a lot friendlier and more into service than employees at other stores...(ahem...Walmart...ahem...). I like that you can save up fuel points to redeem for gas discounts when you buy items. It helps out. They have a nice produce section, always lots of variety and the quality is very high. A produce worker even gave me a sample of melon when I was debating which kind to buy and provided me with a little fruit info. The location is excellent, right off center street. And it is conveniently located next to other stores that I bundle into the same trip. Prices can be higher than other stores, but to me it's worth it. The parking lot is always busy, no matter when I go. But I've accepted it. read more

It's kinda weird to review a grocery store, right? BUT, I converted to Baker's a little over a year ago and I haven't looked back! Here's Why: 1. PRICES- The prices are consistently cheaper overall for popular items. Think about like Super Saver or Family Fare that discounts crappy shelf donuts and etc. You don't want to eat that junk! (or at least I don't) Baker's has a lot of fruit, veggies, conventional items, AND natural/organic items always available for a discounted price. Plus, very often they have the $5 off 5 sale which is the perfect time to stock up on your cheese, non-perishables, frozen meals, etc. 2. SERVICE- They're maybe a tiny notch below Hy-Vee's customer service (you pay the premium for that), but I've always had a really good experience with customer service. No issues in returning things or getting credit for things rung up incorrectly. No issues returning things that I wasn't satisfied with (which is rare and far between). There have even been times their sale avocadoes (2 for $1) weren't ripe and ready for when I needed so I asked if they could match the price for the pricier/larger avocados that were ripe (3 for $5) and they didn't even hesitate. So awesome! 3. PERKS- This is one of the few grocery apps that I actively use because they do rewards you and offer app-only coupons/specials. For instance, they used to always have a "Freebie Friday" (I'm seeing it less and less) where they would give you an item that was valued roughly around $2 for free. No strings attached. I got to try some cool products because of it that have now become my favorites. For instance, their Simple Truth Cold Brew Vanilla is my absolute new favorite cold brew. Plus, I believe you get "points" for EVERY purchase towards gas (whereas Hy-Vee is only with certain items). 4. DISCOUNTS- Baker's usually has clearance food which sounds questionable, but they mark things down (sometimes drastically) to sell it quickly. I've gotten organic Smart Chicken for about 30% less than normal price, freeze it right away, and thaw it when I need it. I've gotten Skyr Yogurt quarts for $1 (normally $5 everywhere else) and it's still good for a week. Walk around the store, hidden gems all over! Baker's is my primary grocery store followed by Fresh Thyme and Costco. There's really no reason to shop elsewhere! read more

If you are reading a review for a grocery store either you are serious about your produce or you are on the toilet and had the app open. This grocery store is great. Excellent selection and prices, and they are diligent when it comes to removing stock near it's expiry date. I enjoy the larger selection of cheese and wine since usually that's what I'm buying anyways. Produce is fresh but there is not a huge selection. read more

I come here every Sunday and am mostly satisfied. I can usually find everything I'm looking for with the exception of produce. It can be hit or miss at times so I branch out when I'm looking for something that isn't basic. I love that they have Gulf Shrimp here! I usually buy all that they have on display in the seafood department. My one big frustration however is that the store opens at like 7am but the seafood department doesn't open until 9. And sometimes at 9 they still don't have everything out. Doesn't make sense but that doesn't stop me from going. I love the fuel perks program and the plethora of specials and digital coupons offered. I also love that they frequently send me coupons in the mail for items I purchase again and again. I've been shopping her for 20 months, same time/day every week and see the same employees every time I go. This means they don't have a huge turnover rate which tells me they must also be a great employer. When it comes to price, variety and convenience of location, this store tops others in the area. read more

For whatever reason, the stars have been aligning in a certain way lately to have me stopping into random Baker's all over the city. I'm not exactly sure what gives. But yeah, after chomping on some wings at Oscar's at a UYE Ramon B set up, I needed a pit stop before heading from Lakeside to Ponca Hills. Baker's shared the same strip mall space as Oscar's, so I headed on in. I have to say, well, wow. This store is immaculately clean, with the aisles of freezers and refrigerators humming happily together in harmony as suburban shoppers did little jigs of their own, clip-clopping about the store. Sometimes I forget that my neighborhood go-to supermarket, the No Frills on N. Saddle Creek, is a bit grimier than I'd like to actually come to terms with. It's a lot more in tune with the sound of wheezing hobo (I'm sorry I still love you No Frills!). Back to Lakeside Baker's -- clean and Kroger-tastic. That means a beautiful store with above-average prices, especially without an annoying Baker's card in hand. read more

Basic grocery store but managers were power walking so fast with their carts they almost ran in to me multiple times and had some rude or unhelpful employees. But they had 9/10 of the things I needed so there's that. read more

I'm trying to find the perfect grocery store since moving here from California. I've been to Fresh Thyme, Hy-Vee and now Baker's. I wanted to try this location since it's only a few miles from my house. Baker's is similar to Ralph's where I personally shopped in California. Hands down, I've found my weekly go to grocery store. Both stores are owned by Kroger so naturally they carry similar products. I happen to go when it was close to Memorial Day weekend so there were tons of great sales. I walked in with a list of three items and walked out spending $62 dollars later. All the staff are friendly and are quick to say "Hello". I had a very positive experience and I will definitely be coming back. read more

It's a grocery store. Big benefit is the fuel rewards, much better than Hyvee. We get most of our essentials here and the organic produce is generally better and more expansive than Hyvee. They are also the only store other than Whole Foods that carries veal (one of our favorites) regularly. When they have their double or triple fuel points on gift cards, we always stock up and get a ton off gas. The people are friendly and helpful and I like how they employ people with special needs. That says a lot for them. I actually like Hyvee better for other reasons but Bakers will always be our number 2. read more

Layout is poor. Staples such as grated cheese is not near dairy nor sauces. Meat area smells of rot and decay. Parking spots are narrow (door ding risk). Prices are high. Have to carefully check the expiration dates. read more

Check your receipts if using store coupons or even store sales!! I just did this for the first time, I've wondered before but this time the "error " was just flaring because I only bought a few things. I dI'd fo back in and speak to a checker who first offered that I dirnt download their coupons correctly, (I showed that I did) and then he questioned my math, it was dead on, and he ended with that i needed to come back when a manager was there to explain it to me. I'm not stupid, I didnt misunderstand anything, I just got ripped off. This is not the first time I've wondered at their system, should not have been the first time i double checked it! That's my bad. Oh, I did love his wrap up line, it was "But look here! It says you saved $7.30 shopping at Bakers!!" Wink wink. Why whine that you should have saved more??? They dont make it easy, but if u are going to shop their "deals" do the math yourself. read more

Has a pharmacy. Yummy baked goods. Most products are reasonably priced. Parking is reasonable it is one of the farthest west bakers on this road so fairly convenient. read more
