Went to Namaste plaza today. They had a great selection of spices. Amazing prices for them as well. The fresh chili's looked amazing and the produce seemed very fresh. They also have a great selection of pre cooked naan bread and fresh Dosa batter. Have to say I like this grocery store very much for Indian food needs. I will be back for sure!!! read more

Pro: they have great frozen Indian meals and breads. Con: they don't have prices on everything so sometimes you don't know how much stuff is till you reach the check out. If they would put prices on everything I would give them a higher review. read more

A good Indian grocery store recommended by our friends. They have stock of most items including fresh vegetables, fish from Kerala, Kerala pickles and other general Indian items. I hope the owners maintain this quality and stock. They also offers discounts for religious occasions and national holidays. I would also definitely recommend this grocery store. read more

I went there for the first time . Been here in town for 35 yrs . The store person sold me some goat meat saying it is fresh . The guy lies . Meat is 80 percent bones and horrible . He lied a lot and changed his story a lot . I questioned him about the labels on the meat . He lied again that it was FDA approved . I don't understand the need to lie and cheat a customer. I will send a sample to the FDA about his claims . On a few occasions this guy who worked there did not care and was arrogant. There was no reason fo him to behave that way . I just stopped by to help my wife out . Never will shop there . Certainly the state needs to look into this store about their practices. He said his name was Abdul and he is the owner read more

Been to many indian grocery stores in west Omaha , this is one is the best. Properly stocked up aisles , neat and clean. They've the great variety of selection of everything. Will surely recommend it Also they're going to expand more. read more

Being in Omaha for nearly a decade gave me the chance to explore different indian grocery stores. I am always looking for something new, in addition to the usual things like reasonably priced yet good quality lentils, fresh vegetables, yoghurt, sweets!, snacks and frozen food. I started going to Namaste Plaza for the last year or so and have really liked it. The people are quite friendly, it's conveniently located, modest in size and has pretty good quality goods. I have not had to return anything so far. Their yoghurt and dosa batters are pretty good quality and I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone looking for indian groceries and tasty eatables! read more

Great place to shop for Waiwai (not Thai) and Indian groceries. Make sure you check expiration dates for some goods. Samosa was good and spicy! Will come back again! read more

I stopped in today because I didn't want to drive out to Patel grocery. I was very pleasantly surprised. I got everything I needed for an Indian dish I'm making this weekend. But the best part was as I was checking out I noticed these samosas that were in a little heater. I bought one with the puffed pastry and it was one of the most delicious samosas I have ever eaten. It turns out that they are related to the Patel grocery store and to Kurri Xpress which is my favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha. Once I got home I realized I did not buy naan. Looks like I will have to go back tomorrow and I will most definitely buy another samosa. Also very friendly guy who helped me find what i was looking for. read more

We are not familiar with grocery stores in Omaha. Went over the week end to get some grocery from this place, big mistake. Prices of most products were not displayed. The salesperson was very rude. He seemed to be annoyed cause we asked him the price of something. read more

Unlike most impulse shopping excursions, I actually regret not buying more here. There were all kinds of useless trinkets which would've made perfect gifts for unpleasant in-laws and distant relatives... We did the boom boom sauce on the side with fries, it is a good dipper but I would not want that on my wings, so we made the right choice there. Kids burger was also pretty good sized and the burger was juicy. Ambiance is fun, garage themed. They also have several alcoholic dessert shakes if in the mood for that.
