The owner made a list of our concerns and said he'd get back to us in the afternoon. They called back an hour or so and gave us a reasonable quote and we okayed him to work on it. I was expecting them to wait a day or two to get back and we were pleasantly surprised my car was ready for pick up early afternoon! He let me turn on the ignition and it was all better! We would come back here again for future as they have excellent service!

I brought my daughter's car in for a part replacement. From the start, their attitude was rude, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid upfront for the part they ordered, but they never communicated when it arrived--I had to keep calling just to get updates. After waiting 3-4 days, they finally received the part. I dropped the car off early in the morning as instructed and was promised same-day service. Again, no communication. I didn't get the car back until the following evening. Ruben claimed the car was safe to drive--even though my daughter has a baby she drives around with. Yet the car was still having issues. I took it to another shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed the exact same part still needed replacement. When I called Broadway Auto Repair about it, they refused to take responsibility and said I'd have to pay another labor fee for them to fix their mistake. This shop uses cheap parts, overcharges, and takes no accountability for their work. Erik offered no help whatsoever and insisted they weren't liable. What a joke. Save your time, money, and frustration--avoid this place at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. You've been warned.

When my…read more2011 VW 'dieselgate' touareg TDI started leaking oil badly I thought I had messed up the crush washer on the oil drain plug which I have done before. Always makes a mess. And diesel oil changes are foul. (a couple of easy ones for this vehicle are out there) But...when I pulled off the belly/skid pan I saw that I hadn't. A bunch of research had me thinking perhaps it was the turbo oil feed line. Or sometimes the timing case leaks - and then its a write off for the labor charges for an old vehicle. I kept driving it to check engine oil level (it holds 8.3 liters) and that level wasn't going down so I inspected the injectors and the seals on all 6 (V6) were gone. Another clue was the vehicle was reporting the same economy - it though it was using the same amount of fuel, but the leak caused the fuel needle to move much faster than it normally does. Another clue was that it was leaking oil, but diesel engine oil is black 200 miles after an oil change. The oil on the ground was clear - so diesel being a fuel oil, that was the oil I was finding. Its a job I could have done myself and I would have to weld together a slide hammer injector puller, but I thought, I really don't want to do this job. I took the car in on friday to discuss it and it was 'no problem - let us order the parts for when you can bring it in'. I said do you want me to pay for them? 'Nah, we'll use them on the next vehicle if not yours'. Nice. That impressed me. Brought in on monday done on a tuesday. It is a somewhat labor intensive job but not really a hard one per se. Just time consuming. I got the vehicle back and they cleaned the mess off the engine and now it something leaks I can figure out what it is since the engine was filthy. Looks brand new under the hood. They told me they had a do-over on 3 injectors which is what I would have probably had happened to me too (another reason I did not want to do the job). I am not surprised. A week later and not a drip or drop. This is a shop recommended by a car nerd/wrench. You won't find that often. Next job I don't want to do, I am coming right back. Fair pricing, great value, quick turn around for me with lots of cars in front so they had plenty of business. I recommend them.

Very disappointed in the work performed and condition of car upon returning it…read more I had a serious issue with my cars computers not communicating with other modules on the car making the car not drivable. This was brought on by previous shop screwing it up. Do I brought the car here and explained what happened and they assured me they would find the problem and get it fixed. After car being there over a week I went up there to check on it. The mechanic told me he had not even looked at it yet. After being there a month they told me they could not fix it. So I picked the car up and got it back in much worse condition. The interior panels has been pulled and just left in the floor the new blower motor wires had been taken apart and left hanging. The mechanic and service manager were arguing and cussing in front of us. When we were trying to put things under the hood back in place to try to start the car the mechanic told us we had to leave the shop area now and they would push the car outside. They left the car at the edge of their parking lot entrance. Many interior panels left in the floor and several under the hood parts left in disarray. Car had to be towed home. I do not recommend anyone taking their car here for anything complicated. It's one thing to not be able to fix a car but after a month and getting the car back in much worse condition is bullshit.
