Extremely rude old men at the front, refused service due to not having technicians. When I asked why they were still open with no technicians to do actual work people were looking for, they threatened to call the cops on me if I didn't leave. Would not recommend if they had prices for 25 cents. read more

I stopped by needing some help with a headlamp and Joseph helped me immediately with my problem. Thanks , I really appreciate it ..

Meineke, Garland Texas, Broadway Location. Trevor was amazing ! We needed a Water Pump and help filing it on our 3rd party Warranty. Trevor handled the Warranty Co, maximized our warranty benefit, and recommended the additional parts we should consider replacing without additional labor cost while it was being put back together. Of course we jumped on that deal. Trevor saved us hundreds of dollars on our repair and limited our future liabilities at the same time. Thank you Trevor ! read more

Do Not Give Business!! I beg.. Tha old man that works front counter needs to retire.. for one he's very rude like the worst I've seen in public.. He keeps going on and on about upselling you things after you tell him no a million times.. He hates that you wanna figure out what's wrong with your car so they can get over on you and get more money.. I asked for a receipt, he then smacks his lips and proceeds to toss the paper at me and storm off... Will give 0 star if possible read more

Horrible experience, Please do not waste your time and money going to this place! Brought our car in to have a transmission coolant line leak repaired. I was supposed to wait to get an estimate or quote from them (because I was concerned about the price and quality of work from this place after reading all the reviews). I even called in to remind the front desk lady to give me a quote before fixing the car, but they DID NOT do so and decided to straight up fixing the car without my permission, the lady then called me a day later to let me know that the car was done, I was shocked to hear that as I was still expecting a quote from them. When I asked Ron (the manager) about it he said he got authorized permission to fix the car, which is a total lie as I never gave out any permission to anyone to fix the car. I was charged $1900 for replacing a transmission coolant line, 2 cooler fittings, and 6 fluid bottles. YES, $1900 for all those parts plus the labor. Ron told me they got all the parts from the dealer, I looked up the parts from the dealer and all the parts combined are roughly $400 max, but how they came up with the $1900? $1500 for the 3 hours of labor? It was wayyy overcharged. We couldn't do anything but had to pay for them with full of disappointment. and when we thought we were done, once we got the car there were still car parts left in the back seat that had not been installed on the car yet.... This whole experience was horrible from the front desk lady, the mechanic, to Ron the manager... We feel like we got scammed and ripped off at the same time... lesson learned, I should have read all the reviews before bringing my car there. So Please DO NOT bring your car there for good sake. read more

Worst customer service ever the old guy at the front desk is very rude and unprofessional. I would've spent the 370 for my A/C but I didn't agree with his attitude today. Zero respect I'm never going back... I'm taking my money elsewhere thanks... read more

Staff kind and professional there are Good price and service but even with appointment you have to wait a lot. My car was exhaustively inspected and they suggested couple of changes for few dollars. read more

I purchased a groupon for this place and made an appointment online. When I arrived the clerk HAD to have been on something or just having a bad day...he was snapping at others and talking to himself...wasn't very friendly or even phased or apologetic that they did not have my appointment on file. I waited almost 2 hours for my vehicle but hey...I didn't have anything going that Wednesday afternoon. One of the techs...short guy with brown hair...can't be a day over 19 was really sweet and apologized for the wait...he must've been new because he gave me some wrong information on my car. They did a decent job I guess...my maintenance lights are off...not sure if the groupon really helps...still believe I was over charged... Oh well...I probably won't be back....haven't thought that far ahead yet...lol read more

Came in for a simple oil change.... it took 3 hours.Left and came back to car after 1 hour 1/2 of just waiting even though they took my car to the back about 5 min after I arrived and all four wheels were off. Was told I am 10 good stops away from my brakes going out. Just bought the car , no squeaking or squealing sounds when driving but being told I need all 4 brakes and pads replaced totaling over $1k. Not to mention the guy at the front told me my car takes synthetic oil only making my oil change price increase by about $30. Turns out my car takes both synthetic and regular oil. Never going back. read more

Should have looked at the 2.5 star rating before using this place. They are a bunch of liars!!! They have scammed an elderly lady out of $2,100 and are now holding her car hostage if she doesn't pay. They said her timing chain broke, got a replacement one from the dealer, THEY broke that one and are now trying to charge an elderly lady $2,100 to get her broken car back, with the original part on it, not even the new part (because they broke it). Also, they have the audacity to say they are charging her $50 a day storage until we pay the $2,100. What a joke! They are now calling her a liar and saying she said something that she DID NOT say! DO NOT use this place unless you want to get screwed, PERIOD!!!!! read more

By the nature of what they do, auto shops have a lot of stressed out customers who are hard to please, spending money they don't want to spend, and it makes maintaining good review ratings impossible, but don't be deceived: if you need help with your car there is no place on earth you'd be more fortunate to find yourself than their doorstep. These are excellent, expert people and they have my utmost gratitude for the help we received there today. read more

Staff was polite, but sign was advertising tire rotation for $14.95 and I was charged $27.00. I ask about getting an inspection on suspension and guy up front said it could be done while doing the tire rotation, then I was informed that the suspension inspection would cost $64 and change. read more

I would rate this place 0. They only care about the money. I went there just for oil change. Receptionist said I have to change break fluids and engine filter so I go ahead and did it. It came out $155 everything. They never lached my hood and gave the car like that. As I was going home the hood came off and damage my fenders and thank God it didn't broke my windshield. Old fart men with nasty attitude treat his workers like piece of shit. His name is RON and he was very loud and nasty with his coworker because I used my debit card as credit car and he was mad with him in front of customers. I didn't say anything but I was about to say something to him. Going for small claim court if they don't repair the damage. Fuck this company I would never come back again. DO NOT GO THERE. read more

PLEASE READ I don't usually write reviews, i had to even download the Yelp" app to stop anyone needing car work done at this location. Save your time and find somewhere else to go. The older man refused to give me a simple car inspection. And they were very horrible & racist men. waited for over an hour after being told an excuse to not check my car at all, his remark was "l'll save you the time and car inspection " and walked off. Went across the street to get my inspection done at Triple A Muffler & Brake and had it done in under 25 mins without any problems with amzing nice customer service and nice quick staff, it felt more professional. End of story, just go anywhere but here you will be taken care of better for your car needs. read more

I'll give a 0 if there is a Zero rating. I made an appointment in the morning for a 1:30 State Inspection. I called around 12 noon and told the person who answered the phone that I have a 1:30 appointment and if I could come earlier. The guy said yes. So I drove to Meineke in Broadway. I got there and the one in charge asked me what I needed. I told him that I have an appointment, I called and the person who answered said yes, that I can come early. Charles said he did not answered his phone and asked what number I called. I told them the number and asked them, isn't that your number, he said yes. He asked how I made an appointment, I said online and I got two text confirmation and email confirmation. He claimed internet is down and nobody called them. right there and there, I called the number again and he answered his phone right in front of me. He made a lot of excuses. I told him I am a long time customer and been coming to this Meineke. He still making excuses, so I told him forget about it, I will just go, so I left. DO NOT GO TO THIS MEINEKE ALONG BROADWAY IN GARLAND. read more

I had a bottle opener that was my grandfather's and that I have had for 50 years until I visited this Meineke. I have owned 4 pick -up trucks and it has never disappeared until I went to this place. I don't care what they offer me for free, you can not replace the only thing you have from your grandfather.... They all need to be fired for theft. Someone there stole it it's the only place I visited before I left town. read more

Today I drove in and had an issue with my wiper blades I kindly walked in and was greeted by a kind gentleman named Mr Ron. I normally ask any questions to my father who now is unable to give me any advice on my car. He has taught me everything. I am very leery about walking into any place that has to do with car repair because I have been cheated in the past. I walked in Enron took me in felt like I was maybe like his daughter. In my heart he helped me out graciously with a big smile. He explained to me that my wiper blade was broken and he helped me replace it. I only pray that God blesses this company and his establishment abundantly. The place to go for any car repair. When you walk in they have seating to the right they have a TV they have hot coffee ready and waiting. By the way they have the best shows on their TV. Thank you very much Mr. Ron. read more

Horrible customer service. Management keeps changing it seems weekly. I had my truck serviced their 3 months ago. I just got a call today from some collection company saying that I haven't paid my bill for the past three months. Not sure how that is even possible. I have the receipt showing paid in full. Their managers don't know how to use their system and I'm still having issue with my brakes. I will never go back to this location not any location that is even remotely associated. read more

I made an appointment for 10 AM... when I arrived I was told their appointments weren't working. So I had to wait a very long time. And the guy at the desk continuously pressured me to get more work done. After I specifically told him I could barely afford the oil change. And his tone was very condescending. And THEN... he had the audacity to say "well income tax is right around the corner"... it's absolutely absurd to continue to try and upsell when you've been told no. So annoying and I won't be back. read more

Took my car to get oil and they did the whole car inspection and told me I needed rear tires which was bull crap because 3 days ago I just bought BRAND NEW TIRES! So I called them to inform them of their false information they gave me and RANDY was very rude over the phone and deserves to be fired. But anyway with this being said I am convinced they have zero knowledge or what they are doing and are more than likely giving out false info to everyone just to make money. Like cmon man, how do you not know a bad tire from a brand new one? If you just want money at least tell me it's something internal. Meineke on Broadway needs to be shut down. ASAP read more

Thank you for pretending to address this issue publicly, definitely straight out of the PR textbook. However, if you guys really were trying to fix this, why the low scores across the board for so long? Car Toys, a better way...TO GO! See ya. read more

Unprofessional, rude and over change for services/parts. I would not recommend this to place to anyone.

In late July the Meineke store performed a 4 wheel alignment on my wife's car. In August I purchased four new tires for this vehicle. My wife noticed that the steering felt strange driving over rough roads and on wet pavement. I called the Meineke store and explained the problem and requested them look at the alignment. On 9/30 they told me they couldn't work me in until Monday. I called the Meineke store in Wylie and they worked me in that day. The alignment technician called me out into the shop area and explained the original alignment was not performed correctly and the two rear tires were out of alighment by 1/4" each. He also stated my rear tires now had uneven tread wear and needed to be replaced. There is now substantial tread difference between the front and rear tires. Since then, I have reached out to the Garland store in an attempt to resolve the issue, but no one will return my calls or email. The owner of the store is Jorge and I have emailed him and called the store in an attempt to speak with him. When I called the store I was told Jorge is not available and I needed to contact his assistant Adam. Repeated calls to Adam go unanswered and with a recording stating his voicemail box is full. The workmanship and customer service at the Garland Meineke store is terrible. It is now the mid October and still no call from the store management to resolve this issue. They have a "F" rating on from the BBB. read more

The turnover at this location for mechanics is very high. The wait time for service is extremely long and not provided. I went here about my tires and was told not only is the tire not in stock but if I purchased tires elsewhere they still wouldn't be able to do their job because the tire machine was broken and probably would be until next week. read more

Very pleased. Ordered a Groupon and called to schedule service. The manager, Richard, was kind enough to tell me he could offer my oil change service cheaper and to get a refund for my groypon. The day I came in the scheduled service was performed on time and only took 30 minutes. Richard was there the day I came in and an elderly couple had a question about reinserting the oil stick, Richard offered to go out with them and show them how to do it and gave them lots of opportunity to ask further questions. I would highly recommend this location. No lengthy list of things that "must be fixed" either. Great service. read more

Purchased a car at the tote the note place they give you five free oil changes but they have to be done at Meinicke. First oil change I was told car was in good condition. Second oil change I was told I had an oil leak it will cost $400 to replace the pad. I'm suspecting that every time I go in there's gonna be something wrong with the car. Which makes me believe they might be doing something to cause that damage. A free oil change is not worth what they're really up to. read more

They are the biggest cheaters in the world you will ever see.. I used their Groupon coupon and went there for oil change and tyre rotation and balancing package. I also did the brake oil system flush. but they neither reset the engine light after the oil change, nor they did the balancing properly (As my car started shaking while driving after I did balancing there), nor they flushed out all the old brake fluid properly, I waited for 4.5 hours to get my job done. I had to go to somewhere else to fix all the mess they created in my car and had to do the flush again. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR DON'T GO HERE. Groupon did not let me review this so I came to yelp to aware everybody. read more

i've never written a negative review before, i hate being that person. i swore i never would but unfortunately my experience has been terrible. It wasn't the issues just being checked out that took nearly 30 mins for them to figure out their own system on the computer, nor that i was told it would be completed in an hour & half, it took a little over 2 hours for my oil change & tire rotation which i was perfectly happy with. At this point, I was fine with all that. I can put myself in the guys shoes on the computer. So all of that is just how it goes, i understand all that. What is completely not acceptable, i notice they did not put back the motherboard cover, && i call the shop still not angry at this point just want to ensure it does not accidentally get thrown away before i can come get it. The guy on the phone treated me as if i was in the wrong, like i was inconveniencing him. No apology, no effort to even help me fix the issue they created. He says he doesn't see anything like that around the shop, "offers" for me to come by so he can see what the issue is. I am blown away. The issue is your shop is responsible for taking a peice of my car off && not putting it back. Now i have to drive completely out of my way right this second, because he needs to see this to understand "the issue" Ive never been so repulsed by costumer service in my life. read more

Okay so i been going to this shop for years now never had a issue until today. SOMETHING VALUABLE OF MINE WENT MISSING & when i went to ask who all had access to my vehicle everyone seemed startled and somewhat very worried. It all summed down to one guy. This guy (African American) was the only one to drive & have the keys to my car. Long story short i went back to the shop to confront them and they did nothing & claimed they didn't steal anything.. but what was very sketchy from him and the manager was that they pulled me to the back of the shop saying to please just give them 30mins to find what went missing.. When i asked to have a number for corporate they were very upset & gave me a false email. Lies after lies with this place never going again. They are very untrustworthy and would never bring my car there again! read more

This business has changed management a couple of times since my first visit. I kept going there because the mechanic seemed to be a honest person. The last visit they seemed to be more interesting in selling me preventative services that were recommended based on mileage then how the car was performing. I am retired on a limited budget and do very little driving. I am having no problems with my vehicle and only went in for an oil change. I will be checking out other places to service my car. read more

Worst mechanic I've been to. Don't even bother going unless you want to wait 2 hours for a simple oil change and have them ignore the real problem with your car. I asked him to take a look at my engine and see if anything was wrong with any hoses, because I just got a codecheck from AutoZone saying that something was wrong with the engine. He said that they could look at it but yet took over an hour to do my oil change (I watched them do it through the glass because they didn't even seem reliable) then, accuses me of not telling him to even check the engine. I even showed him the code check receipt and he knew my check engine light was on. When he comes back an hour later and takes forever to even do it, he shows me minor things I need to change about my car, which isn't even comparable to the actual problem. Not to mention he asks me if I'm m still in highschool, then when I replied with "no" he tells me that I look like I do. He also joked around about how one of the workers ruined my keychain with grease. I get in my car and there's nothing but grease. Wish I could leave 0 stars. read more
