Attended the Wool and Folk festival last weekend at this venue and it was spectacular. Such a scenic and beautiful setting. Plenty of parking and space, for both vendors and food trucks, that will allow the festival to grow. And if there is inclement weather, it is covered so the event can continue.

Amazing place to take a weekend getaway, or just peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, and the staff is great as well. The new restaurant is open at the mansion and was impressive also.

The best food in the Hudson River Valley. Chef Dan Silverman's food is amazing. Having a drink in an Adirondack chair -- nothing better. Every restaurant and bar is struggling with staff, Hutton Brickyards is no exception. Location is unrivaled. Best location on the River in the whole valley. Kid/ group / dog friendly!!

Beautiful and serene, so glad I got the opportunity to book a mini cabin and eat at the Pavilion. Kudos to Chef Lily and her team for a delicious meal on the Hudson River. Highly recommend!!

A perfect place for weekend escape! Thank you to the Hutton Brickyard team for making our trip the best and shout out to Susie for going above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed during our stay. We can't wait to go back up in the spring.

Check in and check out were both easy and efficient procedures. The front desk staff were nice and helpful during our stay. We found our room (Pearl Street Grand Queen) to be comfortable enough. We loved the fact that the Pearl Street building had the gym. We did go to the hotel restaurant one night and had a great time. Food and service were great. The continental breakfast and the free parking were nice touches. And we really liked being able to bring breakfast items to the room in the provided brown boxes. We did not mind the daily destination fee since we are used to such things at unique locations or hotels. The one and only crinkle was Housekeeping. *On our second day we saw that the floors were not vacuumed. This is important in the winter since shoes bring in even more debris even when they are removed art the door. We had to call and request the room to be vacuumed. *On the third day, there was no back-up toilet paper left in the room and so we had to go down to the gym bathroom to get a roll of toilet paper. (The buildings do not have 24 hr staff.) *On the fourth day the tissue box was empty and the housekeeping person had left the empty tissue boxes in the bathroom without leaving a new box. *Lastly when we got back home, I noticed an unrecognized charge on my card. When I called to inquire, turns out that it was a mini bar charge even though we had not consumed anything from the mini bar. The front desk attendant that I talked to was kind enough to remove the charge efficiently enough: albeit after an awkward exchange where he warned me "...to not be rude!" where I had simply said during the conversation: "...well yes, then go ahead and forward the request to management". That was interesting. Oh well. Kingston is an adorable town and we loved visiting the area. And we would stay at Hotel Kingsley again despite the bit with housekeeping and the awkward exchange over the phone.

Our hotel room, I cannot remember what number we stayed at, however it was considered one of the bigger suites. Hotel Kingsley had a small casual space when you enter, past the stairs, there are couches by the window. Music by the side, books on the shelves, games available in the same space. Downstairs, there is a bigger area to hangout by the TV with couches too. A small gym is on the same floor, sauna in a separate room. (We didn't explore the sauna because the door was locked). Checking out the downstairs. It was a comfortable, quiet setting. Our hotel room, my favorite part from night one was the bathroom. Huge bathroom, big windows and awesome rainfall shower. The entire space was worth it for a weekend stay. Hotel Kingsley looks renovated. You can see the maintenance is done well and noise was seldom you can still relax and enjoy your stay.

We started with the side order of bread - a little steep at $10 for 4 pieces + butter but it was sooo good and just fresh out of the oven. We tried 2 cocktails and 1 mocktail - all had excellent flavors and were super refreshing. For our mains we had the smash burger, grain bowl + chicken, and lobster roll. The fries that came with the burger and lobster roll were seasoned nicely and had a nice crunch to them, but not overcooked. The burger and roll tasted fresh and had great flavor. Would definitely get again. The grain bowl was a good portion and was packed with various textures, which all came together nicely with the green goddess dressing! Definitely will be back!

"that room isn't ready yet, just a few more minutes." She took my cell number and said she'd let us know when the room was ready and we decided to soak up the A/C in the front lobby for a bit. 3:30 p.m. and... nothing yet so we opted to hit the town to explore and when we got the text we would come back. 5 p.m. and... still no text but we circled back figuring the room must be good-to-go by now. A different lady behind the counter seemed to make it like it was on us for the delay/issue. (So not cool, let's be real.) The room? Clean. The bathroom? Clean. The beds and pillows? Comfy, all around. The TV? Kind of weird... sometimes the picture blacked out, sometimes it went haywire, sometimes it was a-okay for a spell. Okay, we can live with (all of) this. (Even if our 'view' was the parking lot and Target across yonder.) Later we decided to snoop around. Gym - clean with a few machines, a bench and plenty of dumbbells. The pool was chilly and ridiculously chlorinated. (You might think I'm exaggerating but the next day the black drawstring on my boardshorts were now brown from the amount of chemicals I was wading through. No joke.) The hot tub was... kind of warm. We hit the lobby-lounge later in the evening for drinks and they had a decent selection of beers (all "the classics") as well as Starbucks, water, soda, some snacks, the usual. Check-out the following morning was easy-peasy. I'm not against returning in the future but I do think we'd see what else is in the area first.
