Understanding the high cost for a fuse, I respectfully asked if they could include a basic oil change (which my van needed) in that $280 charge as a gesture of customer service. The owner, Mr. Arthur, flatly refused and was incredibly rude in the process. Charging $280 for a fuse replacement after giving incorrect initial advice is excessive. Combining that with terrible customer service and a greedy, dismissive attitude from the owner makes this an easy decision: avoid this shop at all costs. They are dishonest and do not value their customers.

They both said SMOG services are offered, and specifically said, no appointments, head over (which I have been told MANY times by this place). So I show up, park in line, and a (very nice and polite) employee tells me that the person who does SMOG is off Monday and so they can't help me. I asked why the website doesnt list times or they don't set appointments and was told "we do not do anything with the website," and as he wasn't going to do anything for me, and I was clearly upset and he didn't want to actually handle a customer service situation, he decided to say have a nice day and walk away while I was in mid sentence and going to ask for a manager. My advice, it is no longer a reliable place to take your car. Go anywhere else pretty much! I know if I can find another CarMaxx certified station quickly, I will NEVER use this place again.

I'm updating my review to 4.5 stars for the recent service I got…read more Vik, the manager called me and offered to clear things up and provide reassurance. He clarified that during my follow up appointment, he did in fact say that he would waive/ decrease the diagnosis fee since it was a follow up from the previous issue. He apologized for the confusion and offered to make it right. When asked, he stated that the replacement unit they would be using is a Denso compressor (high quality) which also came with a 2 year/ 24000 mile warranty. Vik also detailed that if the price quoted wasn't going to work out for me, he could call around for other parts or even an OEM. After accepting his offer for a Denso unit, he said that he recommends changing the receiver dryer filter which came with additional cost. I was taken by surprise but he said that if the compressor fails during the warranty, the first question the manufacturer asks is if they changed the receiver dryer filter. I think if it's important to have that changed at the same time, it should be disclosed to the customer to start. After scheduling and arriving to the appointment, they were able to get me in and out in the same day (7:30am - 5:30 pm) for both the compressor and receiver dryer filter. I was also able to get my system tested and fluids refilled. The shop was also able to check over my whole car for other issues and found that my engine coolant was leaking at the hose. They didn't mention this problem the last two times so either it just showed up or it wasn't checked. Overall, I'm happy to report that the car AC is actually freezing now and stays cold (at least since the last few days) and with the warranty stated on AAA's site/receipt, I'm confident in the repair. The customer service from the staff is very friendly but just had a miscommunication to start. Things I would ask during scheduling if I came back here to repair my car would be: what brand part are you using, does anything else need to be replaced at the same time, how long is the warranty?

On 10/11 I went for the appointment and was told to drop off my cars because they were backed up even if we had an appoitnment. I was told to pick up our cars at closing time 5pm. When I went to pick up our cars and I was notified neither car was serviced. My time was not valued, even if we were given two appointments our cars were not even looked at.

I called ahead and explained my situation with an appointment saying I had a nail inside my tire. When I get there, she looks at the wheel for less than 20 seconds and measures the tread depth which read 6/32 and told me that I was low on tread. Someone needs to train her better because the tire has less than 3500 miles on it from the factory. Instead of a tire repair, she instead told me I needed a new tire and that my tread was low after taking a quick glance. I decided to go to another shop and was able to get the tire patched within 25 minutes. Avoid this shop as they will try and scam you for sales and don't prioritize customer care or service.
