I am not recommend to you guy to bring your car here. I have a TOYOTA Tacoma truck has seat bell engine light on. I bring my car here to fix and he charged me total $300,00 part + labor. After 2 months the light come back with the same message. I bring my car back to fix and he told me he is not warranty for this issue after 2 months. Also, if you let him fix your car make sure ask him invoice with typing and print out ( and not a copy from his handwriting ) In my case ,he gave me a duplicate invoice and I can not read any word that tell what he has done with my car. My mistake was didn't read the invoice when I bring it home.This is the way that he cheating the Vietnamese poeple. read more

I paid $350 for them to hold my car for 7 hours (10am to 5pm), no work done. Within that 7 hours, he told me my brake pads needed to be replaced. I showed up before they told me it was done, and witness my pads still had more than 50% life left. On top of that. They told me the wait was due to them ordering the wrong brake parts. After realizing no repair was necessary, despite telling brake were needed, he passed me the $350 invoice. I literally paid $350 for them to "diagnosis" a non existent problem, just to tell me there isn't a problem. The process to checking brake pads is not worth 350. U do not even need to take off the calipers to see it the brake pads. What a trip! I obviously got a second opinion that contradicted Long's diagnosis. Appeared to be a nice guy at the first impression. Seemed warm when talking with him. Long story short, I got robbed. The worst part is the waste of time arranging a pick up and drop off while at work... all for nothing. This was the first and last time any of vechicle will be brought here. In the event that the owner attempts to contact me, with bribe to change my 100% factually testimony (common yelp trend), I'll update this narrative to reflect the conversation. And he told me to leave the my there for a few hours. So I asked him how much he said $120 I said okay. He give a written memo. This place was recommended by a tow truck company who jumped started my car. When I arrived at Long's he confirmed the battery was dead then told me to go have the work done at O'Reilly's. Long and his team really saved my bacon yesterday! On the way home from work, my engine started pumping out white smoke. It was 4:00 pm on a Friday... right before a long holiday weekend. I was actually completely broken down in San Jose after having to go there for a Medical emergency and had no way to get back to Reno Nevada where I live approximately 250 miles from San Jose. I had been awake all night towed to a nearby motel where I did not get a room. The next morning I drove my car slowly to the mechanics nearby and Long was one shop in the industrial complex. When he opened his shop I explained the coolant leak issue and what I had recently done within minutes he diagnosed where the leak was and said I could fix it probably. I took it apart with the tools I had and put it back together after Long gave me some cutters to trim the hose where the suspected leak was coming from the leak was still there however. He said to bring my BMW X3 around back he could take care of it quickly. He removed the shroud covering to make access much easier and visibility of the inlet for the fitting improved as well. The result was that I had only removed small fragments of and O ring that was part of the old plastic fitting that had literally melted and was in pieces when I replaced it the rest of the O ring was still in the inlet with the new O ring I had previously installed well Long removed the old O ring and replaced it with a new O ring and completed the repair. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation for the work he did and thank him getting my beamer back on the road. I highly recommend this mechanic especially for BMW vehicles. read more

I was refered to Long by a friend. The problem was a handbrake adjustment and a clutch shifting problem. I was charged $415 and the truck wasn't that much better.The truck does'nt get driven a lot. 6 months later ,my son and I are stuck in traffic,pedal to the floor and no clutch! A very reliable mobile mechanic came to my house and discovered, the $60. clutch slave was the original equip. I bought a new one for 12.00 at O'riley's . The rear brakes had not been touched. Long, the owner, is a pretty stand-up guy. I randomly walked into his shop and asked him a quote for a pretty major repair job and he gave me a pretty good deal. He simply said, "You came to me without any recommendation, I want to show you our good work." They got the job done. In full disclosure, like all mechanics, you need to remind them to do certain jobs that they forget..usually they go and take care of it at no extra charge. Hey I found them because I was in the same complex trying to get brakes done. The brake shop in complex quoted me $800 for the work but while there I heard some customers complaining of over charging and parts not needed to be replace. I went next door to Long Super Auto Tech and Long the owner did the work for $200 total. I didn't need the rotors done like the other place quoted. My car ran like a champ. I now take all of my cars there for all of my other work. Long is pretty super never charging for work or parts not needed. The repair is work is always pretty affordable and I never have to take the car back for the work that was done. One time though I made a quick stop because my car belts were screeching putting loud. Long had his mechanic take 20 minutes to fix it and didn't even charge me. Boy that is service. I bought the crew a nice whole roast duck for lunch. (Keeping up the tradition). I came to Long's looking for a garage that I could take my two autos. I wanted a mechanic that I could trust to do a good job at a responsible price. I had some vandalism on my car where someone had cut the main gasoline to my gas tank in half. I went to Longs and they ordered the part and presented me with a bill for parts cost plus $275.85 in labor. Trusting them I paid for the repair. I also turn the bill into my insurance as it was vandalism. While I was waiting for the part to arrive, I had an insurance adjuster inspect the damage for my claim. He told me that the job should take 2/10 of an hour to complete and that normal garage labor cost was $75 to $150 and hour. After the part arrived, I took my truck back in and they replaced the hose in the amount of time that was estimated by the insurance company. I was in and out of the shop in a little less than 1/2 hour. As the owner was gone on a month long vacation, I had to wait. Today, I went and talked to him. He said that they charge $100 an hour labor. He said that he had estimated about 3 hours for the job, but because his mechanics were so good that they were able to do it 20 minutes. I was stuck with paying for 3 hours for a 20 minute job. I will not be returning to this shop. I will be looking for that proverbial honest man to be my mechanic. I feel that I was charged way to much for the job and because I had trusted and prepaid for the job, I was now stuck. read more
