I've been coming to A+ McKee Auto for years now for both my previous and current car - if you are a woman, you know how difficult it is to find an auto shop that's trustworthy and honest and this place is just that! I never have to worry about being ripped off and they never push services that your car doesn't actually need. They're fast, honest, and the price is right. For example, my previous car had an intermittent issue with the gas pedal where it would stop working. I brought it in and they spent all day driving it around to replicate the issue, but couldn't. They didn't charge me a penny even though they spent a lot of time on my car. Then, when I brought my current car in for an oil change, they noticed there was something wrong with my AC compressor and it was leaking Freon. Instead of pushing the service on me, they suggested that I bring my car back to the dealership since it's is still under warranty. This is a great, honest shop that makes you feel comfortable which in my opinion is very hard to find nowadays. I'd literally rather let my engine blow up than take my car anywhere else. read more

Hoang got the job done in a timely manner. Previously, I took my car here for a battery service and I got my car back within the same day. I came back today because I needed brake fluid service, transmission fluid service and my drive belt to be replaced. He was straight to the point telling me the prices of each service and the total. Most of the time, these services would be more expensive if I brought it to other places or my Toyota dealership. Furthermore, it only costed close to $600 and the service was exceptional as I got my car again by the end of the day. Nine months ago, I have my 2004 Mazda3 serviced for a check engine light. That light has kept flashing so I couldn't wait any longer. To my surprise, the solution was just replacing the spark plugs. I would have thought I had to pay big bucks. I couldn't come to pick up the car before the shop closed, so I asked to leave the car overnight. Ricardo was considerate enough to accommodate to have it stored in the shop because I have an issue with the ignition block that I couldn't take out the key. The 2nd time visit was to solve the ignition cylinder problem. I was quoted around 800 to have it replaced and it needs to be reprogrammed to adapt with the new set of keys. I was awestruck that not only they could fix it (no need a new set of keys), they really saved me 500 bucks. My hat to Mr. Hoang, he is my ultimate hero. I was around the area and was looking for a auto shop to service my car. Thanks to Yelp I found this place. I gave them a call in hopes to be added to their schedule. I got lucky, there was a cancellation. I brought in my BMW in for an oil change and tire rotation. Ricardo was who serviced my car. My car was ready between 45 mins to an hour. I reached out to this business on Yelp a couple days before, because it had so many good reviews and it was nearby my house. Made an appointment for 12 PM because I needed an oil change. I was very confused about where the entrance was, so I walked through the garage... felt a bit awkward since I was all dressed up in heels for an event and walked through the garage looking for the front desk. The parking lot is sort of confusing, but that's also probably me not looking hard enough LOL Eventually, I made it to the front desk and the man who helped me was SO FRIENDLY!! The oil change was $30 and they didn't ask me to pay until after they were finished. Although the appointment was at 12, my car wasn't available for pickup until 3, which was a bit longer than I normally wait to get it done. The man who helped me made sure that I was aware of how long it would take and explained it was due to the workers needing their lunch break around 12:30. UPDATE: Had to get a completely new car. Really unfortunate that I wasted so much time and money on irreparable damage this garage caused. My trust in this industry is completely tarnished. I initially brought my jeep in for an oil change months ago and was told I needed a ton of work on my jeep that was running beautifully. So, I take the car in for the work they said it needed (costing me around $2500). They kept my jeep the first time for 1.5 weeks. Immediately after taking the jeep home, the vehicle started smoking and wouldn't accelerate and had to be towed back. This time, they kept my jeep for 3 weeks. Picked up the jeep, same thing happened again. Had to be towed back. This time, my jeep was kept there for 4 weeks. Rental cars aren't cheap, and insurance covers maybe 3 days? So, I finally pick my jeep up and of course, same thing, but this time on Pacheco Pass with no cell service. I had to have the vehicle towed,yet again, and this time to other mechanics who were horrified at the previous work. I was told they replaced my transmission fluid and the new mechanics said my transmission fluid looked like it was 45 years old. This whole experience has costed me so much time, money, and stress. I wish I would have never listened in the first place because I'm looking at thousands to repair their damage and quite possibly having to just get a new vehicle. read more

If I was a teacher, I really would give this place an A+. I came here for a regular oil change. I called first, and asked when I could come in, and they told me 2:30pm. I arrived promptly, and was a bit disappointed when I had to wait 15 minutes BUT the service was still quick and they have Netflix to keep you occupied. I think I was in and out within 45mins/1 hour, which includes the 15 minute wait. Oil change was $30 with tax I think. Definitely coming back. I took my car in for oil change and also let them check the brake squeaking noise issue, the technician told me the noise is from front brakes, I don't need to worry about the safety as long as I can bear with the noise. I need to replace both front brakes and rotors if I want to get rid of the noise despite both brakes still have ~50% life left. I believed him and chose to live with the noise, but the noise got louder and louder so I have to replace both front brakes and rotors, but the noise is still thereafter the replacement !!! finally I decided to take off the rear wheels and check the rear brake pads, you know what? One of them have been worn out completely!!! What an idiot I am, can you trust them for the sake of your safety? I don't think so. read more
