Pork fried rice, minus the pork. Moo Goo Gai Pan.

Ordered hot and sour soup - was sour only, no meat in it. Egg drop had virtually zero flavor and loads of corn starch. Pork fried rice looked like a regular order of fried rice. Hunan beef had three times more veg than beef. Moo Goo Gai Pan was more veg than anything as well but I like mushrooms so we got lucky there. Shrimp lo mein was ok, chicken on a stick was the only thing we'd call good. First time trying and overall very disappointed.

My favorite Chinese place, cheap, always yummy!!! Love them! General TSO is the best, lomein is so good, shrimp and broccoli is really yummy!

For quick Chinese food, Hut Wok is pretty good. We have been eating here for years and the food is consistent. I also like that they are open to substitutions. I order combination plates and sub pork fried rice and pork egg rolls for shrimp rolls and vegetable rice. It's an up charge but I appreciate that they will do substitutions. The food is always hot and normally takes about 15 minutes to be ready.

"Chinese" food at its best. I ordered vegetable lo mein and broccoli with snow peas. One pint of each- enough to feed two people. I always go in and order but you can call ahead to pick up. Of course you can get better takeout other places, but this place is quick, clean, and easy. Lack of star is due to the heavy accents. Sometimes it's VERY hard to order due to the communication issue.

The menu here is very vague with not very many options for sides or combinations. As for the food itself, it is not very appetizing, especially for the outrageous prices. Not to mention that I received the wrong meal altogether after relaying specific instructions on what I wanted. To make matters worse, delivery takes forever and although it has nothing to do with the establishment itself, I unfortunately had the pleasure of having a Door-dasher who is a heavy smoker, leaving all of my food to smell like cigarette smoke.

Decided on shrimp fried rice after reading another review here & highly agree it is one of the better I've had. The shrimp were larger than expected, plentiful, flavorful & sweet. Shrimp were Perfectly cooked! The fried rice was perfectly balanced imo. Eggroll was tasty & average. I only tasted the boneless pork ribs & did not like the meat texture and the sauce was not at all to my liking. I prefer the ribs & sauce to be more browned & sauce caramelized, but the sauce just wasn't anything like I've had before. Don't think cooking it more would help it. Blah. Still overall, I will come back even just for the shrimp fried rice when I don't feel like cooking. It's out of my way but I've tried the closer places since I moved from LP, & been sorely disappointed. The fried rice here was as good as Viet Garden way down Florida Blvd, which I used to live closer to. Viet Garden obviously isn't Chinese but it's a nice sit down restaurant with very good food, when out that way.

We met the owner, Shelly, who is originally from China, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. What really surprised us was that they served us fresh wasabi instead of the usual paste -- I've never had that before, and it was amazing. Once you try it fresh, you can never go back. Our server, Dashay, was fantastic -- kind, attentive, and just such a lovely young woman. We started with hot sake and Kirin draft beer, then ordered a spicy tuna roll and a hamachi (yellowtail and scallion) roll, both of which were excellent. We also had tempura -- the batter was a little thick for my personal taste, but the sauces were so good that it still hit the spot. My favorite dish was the ama ebi (sweet shrimp), especially because they bring out the fried shrimp head, which was crispy and delicious. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully balanced. Between the amazing food and the genuine hospitality, we had such a wonderful evening. I can absolutely see why this is Parker's favorite sushi spot in Gonzales. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

My Daughter and I stopped for lunch. Not much ambiance…read more Our server was nice. She tried. Unfortunately our food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls they had very little filling, had an odd flavor from the oil, but were very crispy. I ordered the hibachi lunch. My daughter ordered General Taos chicken. The portions were large. The fried rice had hard dried out pieces of rice, I guess it had sat open somewhere and dried out. the menu said my chicken would have a teriyaki sauce, not teriyaki, some not good sauce which was so salty I couldn't eat it. The raw chicken had not been covered I am guessing, because it had a 'skin' on it? I could not eat it. My lunch came with a choice of salad or clear soup. I chose the salad, was very crispy but it had almost an 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the bowl. My daughter said her clear soup was excellent. Her General Taos chicken had an old freezer taste she said . We were totally unable to eat the entrees. So sad. We had hoped that this would be our go to place for Chinese food.
