I was craving some Chinese food so I picked up my phone to find a good spot near me. I placed a To-go order on the phone. I ordered two of their lunch combos which came with eggrolls and no drink. We got the spicy orange chicken with fried rice and the sesame chicken with grilled vegetables (onion and broccoli only which is what I requested). The orange chicken tasted great and had a nice kick. My sesame chicken was a little mushy when I was eating it and not crispy at all which was a little off putting. I loved the sides and eggrolls. The service was great and my food was ready within two minutes of me waiting at the restaurant. The ambiance was also very nice and there was a big family gathered eating there as well. read more

I decided to give China Express a try bc they were included on a Promo I have on Uber Eats. I tried the black pepper chicken with shrimp fried rice lunch special and the shrimp egg foo young with white rice. I got both the black pepper sauce and the gravy on the side because my son hates sauces lol. Unfortunately they didn't send my egg roll, but I believe in a universe that is all about balance so they did send me the full order of chicken, instead of the lunch size so it made up for the lack of egg roll. The egg foo young was so full of cabbage and shrimp and it was fried to perfection. The gravy was also thick and the perfect color. It added the right amout of salt to the dish. The black pepper chicken is always a hit. It normally comes with onions and bell peppers but I asked them to hold it in the rice so they may have assumed I didn't want it in the chicken either. Overall, I'd definitely order from them again. Lunch combo always comes with a heaping portion of rice or noodles per my choosing and a soup or eggroll. dinner comes with a rice/noodles but a bigger portion of the entree. One of the things I enjoy about China Express is they are willing to allow me to pick and choose the veggies I would like in my plate. We got our food to go so my review is almost solely based on the food. My spouse picked it up and he said they were really nice so that always helps. We ordered what we would normally order at the other Chinese places. We have been patrons of another Chinese restaurant down the street but the quality has declined so we decided to try somewhere else (here). It was more expensive, but the portions are massive. We were able to make several meals off of what we ordered. I say this to help the next person from over-ordering. The food was fresh. Where it falls sort of flat for me is the flavor/spices. It was under-salted/bland, which was disappointing for me. So much so that I will probably pick another place when we want to order Chinese again. It wasn't bad--it was just "meh." Take out order - 2.9 overall - No egg in the fried rice. The boneless spareribs were sub-par and weren't sufficiently cooked under a salamander to achieve a char. Sauces were flavorful though. General Tso's was okay, more of a mall sticky sugar version than a crispy version and the spice level was muted. They give you a lot of whatever you're getting, but I also might add that it. Ordered the Singapore chicken, a pork egg roll, and two shrimp egg rolls to go. The Singapore chicken came with a side of white rice. It was a huge portion. Definitely big enough for 2-3 people to share. Chicken was crispy on the outside and covered in like this sweet sesame-type sauce. Egg rolls were solid, but less impressive. The service was fast, and the dude behind the counter gave me a ton of fortune cookies and sauces. They have their own spicy chili sauce which is actually spicy! Great flavor and generous portions! This was our first time ordering and won't be our last. The shrimp were big and cooked well and flavorful! My husband and son had General Tsu's chicken. The chicken pieces were big and the sauce was good. I had the shrimp lo mein and there were lots shrimp and veggies and a ton of noodles! I didn't care for the rice they use for the fried rice it seemed like the grains were cut in half, the peas were frozen not fresh, but lots of shrimp and good seasoning. My favorite was the crab Rangoons-they were fried perfectly and not greasy. I've had a hard time finding well done Rangoons in the past few years, so I was glad to find these! I was looking for a new place to try for lunch. My co-workers were ordering food from here through Waitr (note: I've never ordered through any food delivery places). We ended up ordering delivery directly from China Express. I ordered the lunch special which was a choice of meat, rice or noodles, and an egg roll for $6.95. The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they took almost an hour to deliver the food. I ordered the TSO chicken with chicken fried rice. When I got my food, it looked so delicious and it was a lot. The food was really good and hot. They gave me such a big portion that I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Delivery service was fast. Food portions are huge for the price. Driver was very nice. We order through their restaurant app ( really cool and prevents any miscommunication that can happen through phone orders ) and I just wish there was a detailed description per item. We order roast pork lo mien, dinner combo with consisted of one egg roll, pork fried rice and egg foo young along with an order of crab Rangoon ( 8 pieces ). Crab Rangoon was the best out of the food we ordered. Nice touch of sweetness from the cream cheese and slightly salty crab taste with bits of green onion and carrots. I just wish there were more crab meat but it was tasty and deep fries to a crisp. Roast Pork Lo Mien was very oily and a bad kind of smoky flavor. Roast pork tasted old. The Pork Fried Rice had little to no egg bits and tasted mainly of soy sauce. The Egg Foo Young had way too much big pieces of onion unless you like onion, you will love this dish. This place is pretty much just your standard Chinese takeout joint... however, there is one dish on their menu that is one of the best Chinese dishes in town: black pepper chicken. This is the best food with enormous proportions. I actually eat it days in a row--it's that good. Try the beef Lo Mein, and the rice noodles veggie style is great. A dinner portion with some hot and sour soup for 20ish delivered with a tip makes this a regular go to. read more

From where I come from you usually get one of those little Chinese carton full of noodles. But this place gives you an entire styrophome dinner tray completely full, weighing about 2 pounds. And if you are like myself and order your food extra hot and spicy you better plan on sweating while eating it, ( they nailed it.) We basically order 4 + dinners and I literally about dropped the bag when the delivery boy handed to me it weighed so much. Plan on sharing with someone else or plan on eating it for the next 3 days.
