I love this place. The people that run it are so sweet and the food is always plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced.

At here a couple times food has always been fresh and good. I definitely recommend eating here

I had bought food from here a long time ago and enjoyed it. This time not so much. Sweet & sour chicken more breading than chicken, fried rice was so blend no taste. My cream cheese wontons Were tough not crispy. Will not go back. Waste of $16. Raccoons will probably get most of this order. Maybe try Chinese Buffet next time. read more

Ordered shrimp lo mein (minus the shrimp), pepper steak combo and sesame chicken combo with extra sauce to go. Received vegetable lo mein (which is clearly made differently)! I reiterated three times I did not want this! The sesame chicken was fried hard! And the pepper steak meat tasted funny. I called the restaurant back and the lady insisted she did not give me vegetable lo mein and asked what was wrong with the rest of the food. Agreed to remake the food. My husband brought everything back and she acted like she didn't want to take the bag back. She remade the lo mein exactly the same way she made it before...WRONG!!!! The chicken was better and she did nothing to the pepper steak, just gave it back. The customer service was worse than the food!! I used to really like this place! I will not be returning!! read more

Very good Chinese takeout. owners are very friendly. Reasonably priced. We have been ordering from here for over 20 years.

Absoloutly the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered the cashew chicken. The sauce was tasteless and had the appearance of days old leftovers that were reheated. The fried rice was just greasy rice with soy sauce. The atmosphere of the place is depressing. The cashier was behind a plexiglass window that had a prison reception desk feel. I will never eat here again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I couldn't finish and hope I don't get sick. read more

I've never had a bad experience with this China Wok! They are always quick and their food is always fresh and delicious!

No favor at all. the "fried rice" nor the crab rangoons. Would have asked for a refund but didn't feel is was worth the trouble read more

China Wok - Chinese Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The food is literally sooooooo good, and the service is nice (never been disrespected or anything). But literally every time I go it smells like sh*t , like someone just used the bathroom and didn't spray anything after. Makes me gag a little but the food is still bomb read more

Not highly impressed. The egg drop soup lacked flavor and the lo mein lacked noodles. The food was hot and fresh so that's why I gave it one additional star; however, the food wasn't good enough for me to even remember this places exists. Central has a lack of restaurant choices and even less that have decent tasting food, so I think that's why people out here give high ratings to everything. I typically have to drive 20+ minutes to get something tasty. read more

Love China Wok. Always ready quickly and taste is always spot on every time. Good value for the amount too.

Look hard or you'll miss it ! At the light in front of Walmart on Sullivan in central.... Have eaten there since opening and was not happy one time, called them from home & couple of days later went back & no charge for hard sesame chicken I got last time. Food is fresh , hot & delicious ! Have enjoyed it over the years, staff very polite , hope they stay for a long time. Please give them your business so we can keep a good little Chinese restaurant in Central. Promise you want be disappointed. No long wait either ! read more

The is the absolute best Chinese takeout in Central!! The flavors are amazing and the staff is super nice. We eat here about every two weeks and have always had the best service and food! read more

YUM!! Best hot & sour soup!! Whenever I'm sick I swear by their soup to get me well. Excellent service too

Ming and the crew get it right every time we order, the food is always hot and delicious. This is our go to for our Chinese take out. Highly recommend. read more

First off, the rating is comparing this to other take out American Chinese restaurants, not authentic. We ordered egg rolls, moo shu pork, orange beef, general tsu chicken, and crispy chicken. The egg rolls were standard, everything else was terrible. I'm not sure where the good reviews are coming from. Hot wok in Watson is much better if it's quick Chinese take out you're looking for. Would rather take the extra 10 minute drive out there than eat this again. read more

I'm obsessed with this place! I've been eating from China Wok for 10 years or so. The people working there are some of the sweetest and attentive I've met. The service is always impeccable whether it be in person or on the phone. I'm a vegetarian so I always get their mixed vegetables and plain lo mein. I also get a side of sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce. I have been there so many times that when I call in an order the woman literally finishes saying my order before I can because she knows me so well. I also love that I can ask for more zucchini or less corn and onions and they will make the vegetables however I want. I also used to call plain lo mein "noodles without the vegetables" and they always knew what I meant. I recently realized my mistake and started calling it by it's correct name haha. Also, the food is a great price and the fountain drinks are $1.09. I mean, you can't beat that. So I just wanted to come on here to express my love for this place... the food and the owners/employees. I no longer live in Central but will get it when I can. On my birthday I honestly told the fam that all I wanted was China Wok takeout. So give it a try if you're into Chinese takeout. I can't speak on much more of the dishes since I don't eat meat and have never had the buffet, but my family always loves what they get so there is that. read more

We ordered several things from the menu as we had a decent size crew to feed, so I got to sample a good variety things. Food all seemed to be good quality. Fried dumplings and spring rolls were great. The kung pao chicken was so mild it practically had no heat at all. The beef chow mein only had a couple pieces of meat in it. The house special fried rice was great. All in all, the food was very good, but I don't know if I'd drive across town for it. What's a bit scary is the restaurant itself. The very small area with tables and such doesn't seem to be well kept. The crazy thing is that the employees and kitchen are behind a huge plexiglass wall and there is a small slot to pass money to them. They even have a microphone/speaker to communicate with you. Food is passed through a double door air lock. Crazy.... Anyway, food is good and quick, facility is not so nice. read more

I have been going here for years and always love their personal service. As soon as my family and I walk in the restaurant they ask if we want cream cheese wantons! The same good people, the same good food, and always delicious! I prefer it over a majority of Chinese restaurants in the area! And the lunch buffet is extremely well priced! My favorite items are the Vegetable Lo Mein and the Sesame Chicken! Best in town! read more

Straight up wouldn't answer the phone today, which their food is amazing but I couldn't get any???

I came here craving sesame chicken because I haven't eaten Chinese food in months and I'm new around here. When I got home and bit into my "chicken" it was empty. It tasted like breading and sauce. No chicken? I bit into several pieces and they were almost hollow and if there was chicken it was dried to a crisp. My dad ordered an entree with beef and it was delicious, I just wish my chicken would have been. read more

China wok very small place they only have the buffet for lunch only.but the food is very good.

Best Chinese food in town! Never ate anything we didn't like. The teriyaki chicken is the best we have ever eaten. The price is great! We love the owners. Everything about China Wok is the BEST!!! We go as often as we can. You won't be disappointed. Always good. read more
