Found this place on yelp. Called in my order and it was ready 10 minutes later. Super quick! When I arrived, I noticed the shop was in a cute little shopping center. I even visited the cookie store next door! Kings wok store still had a very COVID 19 feel. They had a big glass dome that you pay through and they close the door then your food is brought through that little hole. There is only really one small seating area and just chairs spread out everywhere. Interaction with employee was minimal but didn't mind that. Food seemed fresh! I requested veggie fried rice instead of beef fried rice so it seemed like they added their own fresh veggies which was great. The general tso chicken was good and nice crunch. I probably wouldn't visit again, but it was a solid choice. read more

I have been a customer of King's Wok since the day they opened when I lived across the street. Now, the kids of the family who owned it who used to sit at the tables and do their homework, smiling at everyone, are some of the smiling faces running the place! Since day one, everyone has been super friendly, answers any and all questions, and goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Almost everything I have ordered had been on point, flavorful, and sometimes a little lagniappe is thrown into the order (an extra eggroll, another scoop of meat, etc). It's funny because a friend of mine moved here from Chicago and discovered it, and when we were saying we each knew the best place to pick up take out, we realized we were both talking about King's Wok. I still live in the area, but he will drive a little ways to grab it sometimes. The place itself is well vented, clean, bright, and you can feel the good energy. I hate to say this because the food here has been consistently very good. But we found a staple in our food this time. We are so lucky nobody swallowed this. They should probably use stickers on their bags and get rid of their staplers completely, because this could easily end with a lawsuit if it had been someone else. read more

Ordered some food through door dash. The plate was full of food. They give you a great quantity. I ordered the pepper steak with the house rice. For the amount of food they provided, I could have used a lot more flavor. Texture wise, the pepper steak, onions, and peppers were good. Just would have like more flavor. I ordered the General Tso Tofu and spring roll. The general tso sauce was not as thick and flavorful as I'm used to but you do get a ton of fried tofu. But only a few pieces of broccoli. The food was just okay but since they are the only Chinese restaurant I've found thus far that makes fried tofu versions of classic entrees I will most likely return. I'll just order extra broccoli next time. Also, I must inform that the family really enjoyed their shrimp lol mein, chicken lol mein, and sweet and spicy chicken. read more

Kings Wok has been my go-to place for Chinese food for years. They have an insane lunch special where you can get an entree, fried rice, and soup for $5.50! This seriously makes 3 meals for me. I typically call in my order for pick-up and they can have it ready in as little as 10 minutes. Service is always super friendly and fast. Food always tastes fresh. And portion sizes are unbeatable. Decent Chinese food. We got the sesame chicken, fried rice, veggie lo mein and eggrolls. Everything was hot and they give you good portions! The veggie lo mein doesn't really have a lot of veggies. Also the sesame chicken was supposed to have broccoli and it only had maybe two pieces.Flavoring on both dishes was very good!! The general Tao was my favorite. Customer service was okay i couldn't tell if they were being rude or just being straight up it didn't bother me much...Order took about 15 mins and was piping hot. The fortune cookies were stale :( i know most people don't eat them anyways but I'm the weirdo who does lol. read more

Food and prices are really good! Customer service is horrible. They have a rudimentarily built thing to separate the staff from the customers since the start of the pandemic that needs to be redone. Being new to this business, I copied Danielle M and ordered the House Fried Rice and Fried Chicken Wings. When I showed up to pick up my order, I looked at the menu and saw that there were combination options where you get the wings and any other fried rice aside from the house fried rice. While I waited for my food, I kinda wished that I had been told about that, as I would've been content with some shrimp fried rice. But as Vee mentioned, after I gave my order, the person on the phone hung up without getting any other information or informing me that there were combo options. Having said that, the food did hit the spot. And the house fried rice is very good. I got the small and still have some left, and I'm excited about eating it tomorrow. So maybe it was not such a bad thing that I didn't get the combo, if the combo comes with less fried rice. read more

Just had the Bourbon Chicken and it was excellent! Chicken was tender and very tasty. There was enough for 2 meals! Plenty of veggies. The pork fried rice was plenty but could have had more pork. I've been doing take-out from Kings Wok for years. Their food is always delicious, hot, and fresh. They've handled Covid-19 precautions in a way that should serve as an example to all restaurants. But most importantly, their steamed (or fried) dumplings are the absolute best in BR. Shrimp toast is a must as well. Really, everything is good! read more

This is not commanders palace. I'm not expecting gourmet. But this place is the best of strip mall Chinese and that's why i gave it 5 stars. Fresh and tasty. The food looks the same as every other place like this but it tastes different. I went back for seconds and i usually don't like places like this. Taste like the good Chinese i ate as a child. In a city with few stellar Chinese takeout options, Kings Wok is one of my favorites. They are quick, affordable and typically hot and fresh. I order the house fried rice all of the time. It is packed with meat and veggies and has that wok "smoky" flavor that others often don't. I like their chicken wings, which are cut as drums and flats(my preference) and fried perfectly. I also like their happy family dish. Service is good and they get you in and out quickly. Parking is easy and call ins work well. I usually call in my order and it's ready once I arrive. They also have pretty good lunch specials with nice portion sizes. I would definitely return and recommend giving them a try when you are in the Bocage area. read more

Love this place. Not sure about the accuracy of prices on their menu tho. Lunch combo says $5.75 but when I get it it's an bout $8.50. Didn't think taxes was that high here. Absolutely delicious tho read more
