I called a half dozen or so "so called pros" who quoted me an astronomical price for only two workers and then didn't return my calls to schedule an appt; one contractor never showed up for our scheduled appt. This job involved an expansion into another room to make the bathroom more functional by adding enough space for a full sized shower and incorporated practical storage with a large vanity and medicine cabinet. Zenon's usual attention to detail that gave us results above and beyond what we expected. We are thrilled with how beautiful the stacked tile came out, perfectly straight lines! They helped at every step, giving us great people to work with to get the countertop and tiles and working with us to get the permits and the dates for the work. Once the work began, everything was smooth. His crew are considerate and professional. They did the work exactly as we planned, and everything looks amazing. The new kitchen space is really beautiful. We have so much more cabinet space than we every did. The counters and backsplash look great, and the new appliances were hooked up with no issue. Everything looks clean and professionally done. Jay had recommended a "T Table" which is an extended counter that gives a lot of extra sitting and work space in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this, as it really adds to the counter space, and makes a great space to eat and hang out. I also have to mention, that final price was very, very close to the original quote. That was a pleasant surprise and it made dealing with financing a breeze. Overall, we are impressed with our new kitchen and would definitely work with Jay and EKB again.

Angelo helped me out in a major way with my 96 year old house's original trim, saved me hundreds and also most importantly helped me save the day at home when we had to replace moldings and casings for our doors and walls, we wanted to keep it original, and there were many walls that had incorrect trim. Lo and behold Angelo found the exact vintage router bit, set up his table and cut us exact replicas of our home's baseboards and casings and our DIY home renovation has some serious class. We initially met with Arlene who was so easy to talk to and was exceptionally patient and helpful. She took her time to talk to us and plan our landscaping design. She described each plant in detail on how to care for them and maintain them. We even set up for delivery of our plants for the same week. A few days later we decided That we wanted to change the layout and we had the pleasure to meet with Barbara who was so friendly, patient and helpful. Barbara helped us us come up with new ideas and redesign our landscape. Two days later on the day of our delivery she even volunteered us to FaceTime her after hours to help us decide on exact placement. The plants and beautifully maintained here at Truesdale Nursery and are reasonably priced. We decided to check out Home Depot to compare prices and noticed that Truesdale even had healthier plants and better prices. The customer service that we received was beyond what we expected and going forward we will remain loyal customers. We highly recommend Truesdale Nursery for whatever landscaping needs you may have. I even took two days off (Thursday & Friday) to accommodate their arrival. He never showed. No call. No email. Nothing. Only after I reached out did I get a half-baked apology and a promise for "next week." Once bitten, twice shy - I didn't rearrange my schedule again. And surprise, surprise... he didn't show then either. After multiple calls and multiple trips back to their nursery, I finally decided to walk away. I genuinely wanted to support a local business, especially since I'd heard good things back when the old owner and James' father ran the place. Whatever this new operation is, it's not that. The scheduling is loose, vague, and entirely for their convenience, with zero regard for the customer's time. And when they don't meet even their own open-ended commitments, there's still no remorse - almost as if avoiding accountability is the business model. Must be nice to be handed something instead of having to build it from the ground up. Given the other reviews I'm now seeing, I may have dodged a bullet. Good riddance, Truesdale.
