After already paying them, I had to take my car somewhere else to have the work redone correctly because they clearly did not care about the quality of their work or customer satisfaction. The Owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, and several of the workers were vulgar and disrespectful. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted like my concerns didn't matter at all. Do not trust this place with your vehicle. There are far too many reputable auto glass shops in Houston to waste your money here. Save yourself the frustration, the extra expense, and the headache. He said it was going to take an hour and half but really took 4 hours to finish. When it came time to pick up I didn't bother really looking because I know that tint needs time to cure and all the bubbles come out. But when leaving I looked at my back windshield and noticed sunlight coming through. I messaged him and told him that there was a part missing and he insisted on telling me that it was "perfect". This man is a CROOK. I sent him pictures and he told me it was supposed to be like that. He laughed at my reply when asked him if it's normal that sunlight comes through still when paying for tint. I tipped this man... and he just tells me to bring the car back so he can "hide that tiny bet". Dude can't even spell I should have never trusted this man. Even worse upon coming in and after just speaking to him I showed up maybe 10 minutes after the phone call and he wasn't there. He asked for me to wait 5-10 minutes and I was there waiting way longer than that. I ended up taking my car else where and paying $600 to fix this botched job!! I paid almost $1000 for tint. I needed a very basic car alarm/remote entry system for a 20-yr old car that I had recently bought…read moreso I decided to swing by Ultimate Protection and Sound to see what they had to offer. I had stopped by here almost two years ago when I was shopping around for a car tint (I decided to go somewhere else because I didn't want to go with llumar) but I remember having a good experience here because Corey (the owner - the person that I had talked to the first time around, and again this time around) didn't do any hard sell. I asked him questions, he answered them and gave me prices which I thought were reasonable. Like I said, this time around I wanted a basic security system with no fancy features like paging or a remote with a fancy screen. Corey showed me three different systems with similar features but different brands (Avital and Viper, both under the DEI company; and Prestige). I decided to go with the Prestige brand because this was the second most affordable system (by only $10) but it had, what in my opinion, the coolest looking remote. Corey told me that it would take about 1.5 hours for the install but I wasn't too worried about that because I don't live too far from here. I told him to just give me a call when the car's done and I'd come pick it up. The actual time it took until I received the phone call was 2.5 hours which was an hour longer than expected. However, like I mentioned, I wasn't concerned about it since I was chilling at home binging on Frasier anyway. Once Corey called me to tell me that my car was ready, I went back to pick it up. After I had paid for the system, Corey walked outside to my car with me and showed me the basic features of the system that had just been installed. However, since it was a pretty basic system, there wasn't really anything much to show. I'm probably just going to go through the manual to see if there's any additional features that the system offers. Anyway, I recommend this place if you need a security system. It's true what others had said, they don't have a million different products in the store, but what they do offer, Corey will stand behind those products. Also, prices are competitive. At the very least, drop in to see what they have to offer since Corey won't push you for a sale anyway. What do you have to lose?
