Kenny and the team had the transmission replaced with an OEM transmission in just a few days and at a great price! Cut to 2 months later the OEM transmission went out. Kenny said that it would be covered under any dealership. We took it to Carlsbad Chevrolet in Carlsbad, NM. Carlsbad Chevrolet sat on a he vehicle for 2 months and didn't even begin the diagnostic process! Dillard's Mechanical Specialists requested I bring the vehicle to them. Estimated 4 hour job (1-bed cover, 3-dash cam) at $150 hr. I thought 3hrs for dash cam was excessive since I had the camera and the wiring kit. I questioned it. It didn't require any splicing, simply plug into the fuse box and hide wires. I was told I might get that labor adjusted. I returned and had work done. In at 9. Out at 11, 2hrs. They did not install the camera using the kit I gave them that would have allowed for 24 hour monitoring. I had to ask for the box, unused parts and all the instructions back. They asked me to return. I did. I eventually just accepted their first install and opted not to redo as I initially requested. The tech did a neat job and showed me what he did. But still disappointed. I had to ask for warranty information for the cover. I questioned the 4 hours total labor. The job took two hours. I was told they had 2 techs working on my truck at the same time. One for cover and one for camera. Fair enough. This still would account for only 3 hours. 1 guy cover (1hr), 1 guy camera (2hrs). They would not refund the hour labor, $150. They got me on this one. I received a call from Chris. We straighten things out. Chris was very professional and made things right. I appreciated him replying to me so quickly. Thank you Chris.

As soon as I arrived, I was told I should just wait around instead of my wife picking me up because "it wouldn't take long." That immediately made me feel like they were going to rush the job, especially since the lady on the phone had told me to plan for an hour to an hour and a half due to the size of my truck (F250). The staff the whole time seemed rushed and almost bothered that I was even there, despite the fact they didn't close until 5 p.m. and my appointment was at 3:45 p.m. When they finished, they didn't do a walkthrough with me (even though I saw them do one with another customer just before me). Instead, they simply handed me my keys and walked back inside to charge me. The issues were obvious the moment I got into my truck. Dust was still all around my screen, streaks and marks everywhere. Mind you, I paid $88 for this wash. Within two minutes of driving, I stopped for diesel and noticed even more--my rims were only washed on the exterior, not the interior, so as soon as I drove, grime and dirt bled from the inside out. The side steps still had dirt on them, the back bumper where employees had stepped up was dirty, and the side doors still had buildup. This place came highly recommended by my brother-in-law, but I honestly don't see the quality. For what I paid ($78 plus a $10 tip), this was maybe a $30 job at best. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place at all.
