So glad we found this place on the way home from skiing. We need a place to get some snacks before hitting the road. apparently early December everything closes around 3:30. Hunter trails closed at 4 PM. We had a glass of wine, green salad, and Caesar salad and fries. Service was friendly and courteous.

Came here before leaving hunter mountain. The majority of us ordered the Gateway burger, medium rare, and we ordered different sides (regular chips, onion rings, and sweet potato fries) so that we could try all of them and share. The onion rings and sweet potato fries cost $3 extra. All 3 were solid options! The regular chips are more like kettle chips and very fried and crispy! Perfectly salted as well. The sweet potato fries were not as crispy but still very honey sweet, but a tad too salty. The onion rings were by far my favorite. They were perfectly crispy, lightly battered, and were made from real full onions! Definitely will order the onion rings again in the future, even with the $3 extra cost. The burger was also perfect. Not too done and slightly pink in the center. Very juicy and was devoured within 5 minutes. Haha. I would have preferred more than 2 pickles though in my burger though. But overall, was an enjoyable meal and would be back again!

Yummy, warm and hearty dinner - perfect for post hikes or road trip! We did penne alla vodka and shrimp scampi takeaway. Lots of interesting Indian options too!

After a day in the mountain, this is the perfect spot to drop by for a drink and some food. This is minutes down the road from Hunter Mountain and every time I've went, I always make a point to stop by. I believe during the week they host theme nights, Trivia to name one of them. I tried their Fish and Chips and the fish was fried so well. It was still juicy and not dry at all. They have a good selection of drinks and beer at the bar. I always get their H.M. Be Easy, it's such a good drink. It reminds me of Blue Moon, but better.

Nothing like a well-situated brewery after a great day of skiing at nearby Hunter Mountain! Hunter Mountain Brewery has a relaxed rustic vibe and whether you're just dropping by for some to go's or sitting for a meal, you'll be right at home here. We bought the "just peachy" after tasting a few and highly recommend if it's on tap!

Wow! A new favorite spot for après ski located right next to Hunter mountain! There is a small parking lot out front with two rows of parking and it fills up quick! The views of the ski mountain are beautiful from this brewery/restaurant. Upon walking in the young man behind the host stand was extremely pleasant and friendly. We were able to be seated immediately which was great as we were hungry from a day on the slopes! We opted to share a bunch of different things from their menu. We ordered the beer cheese soup, honey garlic parm wings, signature Mac, and voodoo balls. I ordered their hot cocoa that comes with fresh whipped cream on top and it was perfect to warm me up after a chilly windy day of skiing. Our food all came out rather quickly and everything was absolutely amazing! The honey garlic parm wings I could've eaten the entire tray myself. The flavor was sweet, cheesy, and had a subtle taste of garlic. The wings had a delightful crunch to them with each new bite. Highly recommend this flavor combination, you will not be disappointed! The signature Mac was such a delightful cheesy goodness that I swear warmed my soul LOL! It needed a tiny sprinkle of salt on top and was so gooey and delicious. The voodoo balls were good but not my favorite as I'm very picky with meatballs. So I'll defer to my boyfriend's judgement. He said the bacon wrapped part was amazing as it gave it a crunch Smokey flavor. The meatballs were a bit dry but the sauce on them was a Smokey tangy bbq that was good. The beer cheese soup was delicious and super hot so we had to wait a bit to enjoy. It was great with the crackers on top however I would've loved it to be a tiny bit thicker consistency wise. Overall amazing service, delicious food, and very well priced menus. A must try!

What an amazing view of the mountain from our seat! All seats I guess especially the outdoor seating. Standard American food was served to us. Enjoyed each food and drinks order we placed. Was not disappointed on how it tasted. Beverages met our expectations. Unfortunately hubby just had surgery and can't take any of the brewery's ales. Maybe on next visit. Pleasant experience.

What a great place to have a meal, had an awesome mountain view while eating lunch with wife. My wife and I always make it a point to always try a local brewery whenever we are on a weekend getaway, so we found and discovered this fabulous brewery through our YELP app while around Hunter mountain. Once we got here, I noticed that car parking was very easy as they have ample parking space. We got in, the ambiance was very cozy. We chose a table near a window which has a very beautiful view of a mountain. We ordered and opted to have French onion soup, French fries, cold chocolate drink ( no alcohol as I just had surgery ) and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything tasted well, plating was good, costumer service was incredible, ambiance was fantastic, cleanliness was 5/5. All in all, I was very pleased to have found this place for a meal. If you happen to be in the Hunter mountain area, make sure to drop by in this brewery.

Enjoyed a family dinner here on a Friday night with no wait. Sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountains. Picnic tables for up to 8 people with umbrellas to block the sunset from blinding your eyes, and attentive waitresses who know their menu. I had the curried chicken and chickpeas over rice, which was both gluten free and dairy free. Waited to write this the next day so that I could confirm I didn't have any issues with cross contamination, and all was good... and delicious! My husband had a brisket sandwich and sweet potatoes fries (which could've used another two minutes in the fryer), one kid enjoyed the penne pasta with vodka sauce and added chicken (extra charge for chicken), and another had a bacon chicken ranch pizza. All enjoyed their meals, with leftovers of the penne and my Indian dish to enjoy for lunch the next day. Highly recommend, yummy meal in Hunter!

Friendly service, good beer selection, and a large deck with views of the mountain. Only food we tried were the pretzel bites--oddly, seemed deep-fried?

Awesome brew pub in the Catskill mountains! Lots of great beer options, food was great and the atmosphere was on point. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was family friendly. I had the Shepard pie and was not disappointed!

The beer was fine, the fries and onion petals were good. The nicest part is sitting outside looking at the mountain.

Whether you're coming off a long day at Hunter Mountain or just passing through Windham, this spot perfectly balances a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere with a menu that doesn't cut corners. The Butcher Steaks: This isn't just a "chicken joint." They take their beef seriously, offering fresh-cut, flame-grilled steaks like the 24oz Ribeye and NY Strip. They even age their own steaks in-house when available, resulting in a tender, seasoned-to-perfection cut that rivals high-end steakhouses but at much friendlier "mountain prices." The Signature Fried Chicken: This is the restaurant's namesake for a reason. The chicken is consistently hot, crispy, and juicy. Pro tip: Get the combo that comes with their special honey sauce and "cornbread cake." Dipping the savory, salty skin into that honey is a game-changer. BBQ Ribs: If you're looking for "fall-off-the-bone," you found it. Their ribs are slow-cooked and slathered in a rich, tangy sauce that requires a stack of napkins and zero regrets. Save room--or just admit you're having a second dinner--for the homemade desserts. Their dessert bar and soft-serve ice cream are staples, but the real magic happens in the summer (or around the outdoor firepits) with their S'mores kits. It's the perfect way to cap off a mountain day. With a massive backyard featuring a firepit, live music on the weekends, and a "come as you are" dress code, it's easily the best spot for big groups. The service is fast, the portions are massive, and the "old-school country" energy makes you feel like a local the moment you walk in.

I like the bar a lot if you want to just hang out and enjoy the scene. The outdoor area is really nice too when its not winter. It is definetly the best value in Windham.

The one thing I wasn't wild about was that they charged for each drink refill, but the server was attentive and the fondue was so good that I can definitely forgive that.

Oddly, a runner walked by the entrance a few times but didn't acknowledge us and seemed to avoid eye contact. Prices were were a hair higher than expected, but thankfully the portions were filling. I went with the tavern steak sandwich ($22). The fries were the steak kind but not too fat and wedge-y. There was a totally reasonable amount of Muenster and steak, and I found that the sandwich didn't really need the accompanying steak sauce. The mac & cheese ($14) was a delightful appetizer made with a whopping five different cheeses! Last Chance mentions both antiques and cheese in its name so we had to investigate both. Instead of a separate shop, the antiques are all around the restaurant, and our server said some are for sale and some belong to the owner's private collection but he seems possibly open to offers. The cheese and gifts are in an area on the other side of the bar, with the cheese behind a counter. I thought the cheese collection would be larger and have more NY options, but it was still a solid selection. If you plan on purchasing any candy or other treats after your meal, just let your server know so you can take your bill over there.
