We picked our pumpkins for the season and considering the amount of people here, there were still many great looking pumpkins. The lines were too long for the donuts/food so I didn't get to try any but I am hoping to eventually try the cider donut in the future! It's kinda a one and done thing, but kids will love it, and it's an idyllic setting to be outside in nature.

Thry do have a pumpkin patch where you are able to select from small, medium and big pumpkins. They have a variety of free games such as cornhole, sack races, board games, jenga and petty zoo! They also offer a lot more variety games with ticket purchases but even if you just go and not purchase ticket, you will still have a great time. They also have bonfire sections where you are able to reserve and then come out and bring your own snacks, food and have a great TIME! They were both very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The parking was ample, the property was stunning, it's absolutely not like a zoo in the best way possible, all of these animals are incredibly happy-looking and thriving! We really were impressed by the "enjoy at your own pace vibe of the place",it's nothing fancy at all...it's a simple farm with beautiful scenery, no frills or fancy anything, which again, I think makes these animals feel safe and happy and like they're at home, not just entertainment for people to pay and come see. There are lots of dogs on the farm, they're all friendly and so social! There's everything from camels to zebras, llamas, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, horses, ponies, turkeys, pigeons, peacocks, etc!!! I mean the list really goes on. There's even cows and pigs, too!!! Honestly, this place was just beautiful and we can't wait to come back!! Our kids had a blast, it's cheaper to use cash here instead of card, there's no food, so pack snacks and a picnic and plenty of water. There is a pretty clean porta potty near the check in desk where you get a map and buy tickets, and then a sink outside of it as well, picnic tables, a playground, etc.

I've shopped at their country store a few times for good, hard-to-find items & gifts- their goat milk soap is award-winning. Went to the 2024 fall festival to play & pick pumpkins. (Writing this ahead of our upcoming festival visit and hoping for the same unique tasty apple cider slushy.) Anyway, I don't remember doing much pumpkin-picking but what stood out was the vibe-- starting with a sweet hayride in from the parking lot, through a forest, & out to a larger festival zone. Most workers were happy to be there (& it shows). We felt welcome- even tho we were there at the last event wknd & towards the very end of a hot day. Ambiance: I like that we were allowed to look and linger, shoot hoops, all kinds of stuff. Just mellow fun. (I shot hoops 'against' a little kid there with her granny- won't tell you who won.) There are several places to take selfies and pictures, & just celebrate Fall. We don't have small kids (pumpkin picking here was more for them I feel) but we had a blast enjoying all that was available with basic admission. To sum up: Played games, shopped, & visited with animals- including attempted feeding of friendly baby turkeys- which was a little tough-- long story. Loved meeting the little pony named 'Flapjack'? (Note: it wasn't roller coaster rides or turbo-charged pumpkin cannons- but that's not what we expected or wanted.) There are many wagons available for anyone to use. Many picnic tables make sitting down for lunch easy. There is a shaded sandpit with rocking chairs around it for the adults to relax. He was willing to answer questions and gave us a really informative tour. I learned alpacas originate from south America, they almost went extinct and they're related to camels! I also didn't know that they don't have top teeth! The tour was thorough and to the point, we got to feed and interact with the alpaca. You can tell they are well taken care of, because they were willing to socialize with us. Of course they were food motivated, but they also tolerated us after the food was gone! The alpaca are so soft... Alpacas are one of my favorite animals and I'm so happy we were able to interact with them. My son was able to feed them as well and he really enjoyed the experience. We called that morning and were able to visit at 2:00 PM. They welcomed us and gave us a complete and very informative tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas by name and visit the 11-month-old and 4-month-old alpacas with their mothers. We even had the chance to feed and walk with one of them. A huge thank you to the wonderful couple who owns this property for your kindness, patience, and understanding, especially with part of my family who did not speak English, allowing us time to translate. Your property is beautiful, and the alpacas are clearly loved and well taken care of. We will definitely visit again next time we are in this part of the country!

The family that owns the farm are intimately involved in all facets of the farm, including the tour. We met all of them and they couldn't have been nicer. They were an open book to the working of the farm and the thoroughbred business. It was well worth the time and money. In fact, it was a great value. The plus is Woodford Reserve Distillery is about a 3 minute drive from the farm, so we popped over there after. Great location and incredibly beautiful.

Learned all about the breeding / foaling process, were able to take close up photos and even were able to pet the foals and mares. It is just next door to Woodford Distillery so combine the two for an unforgettable afternoon but reservations are a must at both properties. Note - you drive your own car to the barns and then to the house so don't Uber - you will need a to drive your own car.
