We had a great afternoon playing at the farm. Even though it rained yesterday things had dried out pretty good. Call ahead to make sure their hours haven't changed due to rain.

Fun place to go to spend a few hours on a nice fall afternoon, as there is something for all ages here, from the corn maze to tire mountains to barn animals to cornhole to hayrides and more. Many of the activities are free of charge, so you can spend as little or as much as you like and still have a great time. The only letdown was no apple cider, donuts or anything at all of the sort, which was a disappointment, as a fall afternoon just doesn't seem complete without those must haves!

Great activity for troop of highschoolers. Highly recommend the fire pits as great roasting hot dogs, marshmallows and hang out spot.

One of the best family atmospheres I've seen. Fun corn maze and plenty of activities for the kids to do.

Lots of parking, no lines for food, and plenty of room to roam in the pumpkin patch. We grabbed a wagon and some clippers and found a pumpkin to cut off the vine. There are plenty of pre-cut pumpkins too if you'd rather just pick one that way (and take some cute pics). The wood-fired pizza was SO good and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the salsiccia pie, but all of them sounded delicious. And had to get a half dozen cider donuts for the road, obviously. I'm looking forward to returning when our kids are a bit older to try more of the family-friendly activities!

I absolutely love this set up even more than the last location! There is so much for kids to do here and lots for adults too. We picked our pumpkins for the season and considering the amount of people here, there were still many great looking pumpkins. The lines were too long for the donuts/food so I didn't get to try any but I am hoping to eventually try the cider donut in the future! Definitely bring your friends and family here to check out the Hall Family Farm. Side note- I know the Halls from many years ago and they are a wonderful family! If you see them around be sure to meet them!!!

I've shopped at their country store a few times for good, hard-to-find items & gifts- their goat milk soap is award-winning. Went to the 2024 fall festival to play & pick pumpkins. (Writing this ahead of our upcoming festival visit and hoping for the same unique tasty apple cider slushy.) Anyway, I don't remember doing much pumpkin-picking but what stood out was the vibe-- starting with a sweet hayride in from the parking lot, through a forest, & out to a larger festival zone. Most workers were happy to be there (& it shows). We felt welcome- even tho we were there at the last event wknd & towards the very end of a hot day. Ambiance: I like that we were allowed to look and linger, shoot hoops, all kinds of stuff. Just mellow fun. (I shot hoops 'against' a little kid there with her granny- won't tell you who won.) There are several places to take selfies and pictures, & just celebrate Fall. We don't have small kids (pumpkin picking here was more for them I feel) but we had a blast enjoying all that was available with basic admission. To sum up: Played games, shopped, & visited with animals- including attempted feeding of friendly baby turkeys- which was a little tough-- long story. Loved meeting the little pony named 'Flapjack'? (Note: it wasn't roller coaster rides or turbo-charged pumpkin cannons- but that's not what we expected or wanted.) I liked that we could see other couples & many families making memories (& likely traditions) together. Looking forward to my visit on Saturday- I'll update with more pics. (And a pic of that slushy!) Highly recommend.

Plenty of parking (on the grass) and at first I was wondering where did my daughter bring us -LOL (we are visiting from the DC area). You walk by some buildings that resemble old school simple shacks and then walk into an open (plenty of windows) type building which is where your family start the farm adventure. We met Riley who gave us the farm overview & had us sign Waivers. *** Waivers are upfront & smart*** You & your children are entering a working farm area with different types of animals (never predictable), equipment, woods, several playgrounds etc.. Wear play/work clothes and be ready to get farm messy. You walk through the building into a little slice of heaven for kids & adults whoever dreamed of having a farm. You have goats, chickens, Quail, bunnies and two awesome farm dogs - well one farm dog & one in training- LOL. We ended up exploring for hours, looking at the animals, picking fresh vegetables from the garden (highly encouraged) by Ivy (Owner), walking in the woods. Best of all following our little one from the sandbox to the swing-sets, to the playground in the woods. Speaking with the Farm Ladies, learned some of the back story and the journey to fulfill the dream. What a cool vision & so much hard work . The entrance building was relocated from a nearby town, all the buildings, equipment is mostly refurbished. Just a special place they wish to share with all. As we left, my wife & Daughter purchased some farm fresh items and our Grandaughter left kicking & screaming - LOL. She wanted to stay.

Although, it was easy to make a reservation and there were a lot of time slots to choose from. This included seeing the animals (goats, pigs and bunnies), walking in the flower fields (a sunflower field and colorful flowers), the playground and taking photos. The playground really was not much and I think older kids would've gotten bored easily. For an extra fee, there is a corn pit to play in, a wagon ride and a train ride for kids. We did not do these. There wasn't a ton of places for photo ops, but there were some. They have a shop with goods for sale as well as some snacks and drinks like apple cider, slushies, apple cider donuts, alcohol, etc. We went the weekend after Halloween, so there weren't many pumpkins to see/choose from, but if we went earlier in the season I'm guessing there would have been. On the opposite side of the property, there was a Thai restaurant and a shop that served ice cream and alcohol. There were plenty of picnic tables and even a couple TV's showing football. This was a bit of a walk to get to, though. They also have pizza which you have to order ahead of time with your reservation if interested, but I've heard great things about the pizza. Keep in mind it is only porta johns, like many pumpkin patches. All in all, not my favorite pumpkin patch in the area, I questioned why we needed a reservation and to pay, it really didn't include much, but I'm wondering if we would've had a different experience if we went earlier in the season.
