Dirty paper towels provided during party

Booked the unlimited party package. When we arrived, it was easy to checkin and obtain the wristbands. When we got to the table, the pizzas we ordered were there. Cold- but there. We had to ask several times for cups and napkins. When we finally received the napkins they were dirty, like something was spilled on them. Gross. The bees were out of this world, there was no one that came to clean up after the party next to us, so that made the bees multiply with the leftover drink pitchers. The garbage wasn't changed not one time while we were there. It felt chaotic and poorly ran. For spending $300+ I expected a little more organization. This party "pavilion" shouldn't be allowed to even host parties, because the service is awful. It's being ran by a bunch of teenagers that don't have the maturity to do so.

    Race track for kids

I love this little bit of fun and entertainment in the back of concord mills called the speedpark. It's not big and not very fancy but it has 2 of my kiddos favorite activities: Bungie jumping and go carts! And better yet it has a small race track with tiny go carts that kids as young as 4 can drive on their own! There is also mini golf and a climbing tower and a super tall slide and some arcade games. But, our favorite thing to do is ride the go carts. The last time we visited it was not very busy so they let us ride till our hiney got sore (lol). The kids who work at the park operating the rides are always very nice and respectful. There's not much of a variety of food, just popcorn and soda mostly. Don't threat the mall is a stones throw away so you can go to the food cort afterwards for lunch or dinner. If you're expecting a mini theme park with lots to do you will be disappointed. If you are looking to have a little fun and let the wind rush past your face while you zip around the track in a go cart, then this is the place for you!

    Warning!

The garbage entertainment they offer is not worth the price of admission let alone the risk to personal injury. Save your money and avoid this place at ALL cost! I want to give 0 stars! So many bad things to say but the most important is the lack of authority and regulation enforcement by staff. This place (along with the rides) is supervised by kids. No one seemed to be over 20 years old. My family and I purchased day pass wrist bands costing over $130 and our visit was cut short due to reckless behavior being ignored by the staff. My wife was injured because one reckless teenager was allowed to repeatedly ride the karts and slam into everyone as hard as he wanted. When I respectfully confronted staff to address the issues they hesitantly said he would not be allowed back on... the teens guardian came and refused to acknowledge the hazard and the teens responsibility stating "he was just a kid and trying to hit his sister"... as I explained to her and staff he was old enough to know better and the injury he could cause is the main issues and it needed to be addressed. No sooner did I walk away and the teen and his family was allowed to get back on the rides. So I went to a manager and explained the situation and said my family and I would be leaving and asked for a refund if they were gonna be allowed to stay and jeopardize other guests well being. He informed me that he would speak to the other workers at the end of the night about the incident and that all he could offer me was a rain check... I explained that I live 4 hours a way and that a rain check would do me no good. I explained that it was a shame that we would have to leave to avoid a conflict rather than they do their jobs and ask the responsible party who caused the incident to please leave as is clearly stated in their rules and regulation.... Don't visit this place!

I hosted my son's 8th birthday party here. When I went a few days early to check the place out, I was greeted by Seth who knew the time and name of the party before I could mention it. All the children and adults had a great time!

It's their website saying all the great precautions that they are taking but not one is being done by the very young, inexperienced staff.

Terrible experience. Waited 45min to ride the go karts one time with my son. They were NOT CLEANING ANYTHING AT ALL!!! NO DISTANCING AT ALL ( not even marked for it ). Concession stand closed early. Terrible staff that couldn't care less about anything. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! Cheap wristband is for a reason, you won't get to do anything.

What fun place for the kids to play outdoors! I took my kids here right after the aquarium from the mall. They had go carts, huge slides, mini arcade section, trampoline and mini golf! The staff members were very polite and playful with all of the kids. They seemed to really enjoy their job and made sure every child was smiling and having fun! We had a wonderful time! We will be back!!

When we heard the Outlaws would be in Charlotte, we decided to hit that up and get some much needed time away. Describing our experience in one word - HORRIBLE! The dust was so bad that you couldn't see anything. We thought maybe after Friday night, they would do something to make things better for Saturday. No such luck. It was worse, and it was hard to get worse than Friday. The dust was so bad that you couldn't see the person standing beside you. You couldn't see one car on the track. As a matter of fact, you couldn't even see the race on the big screens either because the dust drowned out the lens on the camera....all you could see were shadows and dust. Absolutely the worst place I've ever been to watch a dirt track race. I don't know how the drivers were even able to see where they were going! Needless to say, I don't think we will be going back to this track any time soon. The NASCAR track is awesome....dirt track...no comparison! Two stars was pushing it...only gave that because we like the area. Very disappointed.

And this event was the championships. Stock car racing is something everyone should experience, if you like anything that goes fast. Here it's byob which is awesome. Saves money so you don't have to pay vending prices. Bring snacks, drinks, beer, blankets to sit on (bc it is a dirt track and the seats are, well dirty lol). Usually I don't wear anything nice to a dirt track but here it wasn't so bad. Also it's quick, meaning if you have ever been to Carolina speedway it's a lot different. Organized and quick to start each race. This time I had a giant corn dog and it was awesome. I will be back here for sure.

Even though it was after Christmas, it was still an awesome experience. I truly wish more people knew about because it is so worth the time the money. It's the largest Christmas expedition on the East Coast and we've had great memories both times. This is our second year going and we enjoyed our time this year more than the first. The first part is you driving in your car as you see all of the super cool light fixtures while listening to Christmas music that corresponds to the lights. The kids (and us), we're in love with the different themes that we saw along the way. Very vibrant and bold colors that really don't do it justice through a camera lens. It's something you truly do have to see in person to get the full picture. There's also a movie playing on the Jumbotron that you can listen to while you're riding around or you can park and watch the movie with your family. This year we did the VIP skip line for $96. I will say that it seems as if in the VIP there wasn't as many light fixtures while riding in the car as there was in previous years. I'm not sure if we seen less exhibits because our route was shorter. That would be our only complaint. You do pay by a car/ van so I would say if you could take as many people with you in one vehicle. Once you get to the halfway point there, there's an area where you can park and then you can get out. Here is part two where you go to all of the different vendors that are inside the heated area. There's so much to do. You can take pictures with Santa. You can get your character made until cartoon portrait . There's free events where kids can make Christmas ornaments win prizes color take pictures with the themed Christmas tree trees (that were so so cute by the way.) They had a bar for the adults and hot chocolate and popcorn for the kids. When you go outside of the tent, there's part 3, a world with outdoor activities. There is an area for Christmas carols tubing that had artificial snow. Theres bonfires with s'mores. Ann area with a bunch of food trucks to choose from. There's hundreds of photo opportunities where there are huge, beautiful light fixtures that you can walk and see along the track. It's literally something for the entire family to enjoy or even a date night if there's something that you would like to do. This is something that my family will continue to do in the years to come.

Typically we avoid holiday crowds (that's to keep the season merry, ya know?), & I'd heard from other friends that the crowds this year were excessive. However, I would recommend going to this on a weekday that isn't too busy or too close to Thanksgiving or Christmas. Was a unique and fun way to hang in the car celebrating yuletide while watching artistry of lights and music with friends. Was exciting for the men in the car to know we were driving on the actual speedway too. Glad our driver didn't take us up on to 'high bank' of the roads as he promised to do earlier. Know that you won't be able to hop out of your car to take pics or use the bathroom there, and there is no swag to purchase. (Would have loved that option as a unique gift for friends.) Note: If you go, you're supposed to turn your head lights off so they don't detract from the light show. Was a bummer when folks kept theirs on, because the headlights would sometimes be blinding! Also note: If you go during a wknd- which is more expensive- there is a place for kids to go (& I'm guessing you can THEN get out of your car). They also usually show a Christmas-themed movie on those nights...not sure how exactly that works, but sounded fun.

Cars are fast, responsive and racing was competitive. It was our first time to K-1, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Food available and fine too. Main issue we encountered was very slow sing-up/registering and payment when entering. There should have been two people working the front desk. Not cool to wait 30 min on a non-busy day just to get in. Maybe it was related to holiday staffing. Nevertheless, we left with smiles on our faces and will be back.

Subject: Formal Complaint - Unsafe Conditions, Unprofessional Conduct, and Denied Refund…read more I am writing to formally complain about a serious safety issue and unprofessional conduct I experienced during my recent visit to K1 Speed. During my race session, the race was stopped multiple times because other drivers spun out. Staff stated these interruptions were necessary for safety. However, during the same session, I was struck multiple times at high speed by other karts, and the race was not stopped, nor was the situation addressed. This inconsistent handling of safety created a situation that felt unsafe and poorly managed. Because of the repeated interruptions and the collisions I experienced, I requested a refund after the race. My request was denied without a clear or reasonable explanation. What made the situation worse was the way my concerns were handled by an employee named Gavin. Instead of listening or attempting to resolve the issue, he spoke to me in an unprofessional manner and went on a prolonged rant blaming customers for what was happening on the track. I felt dismissed and disrespected rather than assisted. This is not acceptable customer service. I paid for a safe and well-managed racing experience and did not receive one. I expect this matter to be reviewed seriously. I am requesting a refund for this session and a response explaining how this situation will be addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future. I look forward to your prompt response.
