Booked the unlimited party package. When we arrived, it was easy to checkin and obtain the wristbands. When we got to the table, the pizzas we ordered were there. Cold- but there. We had to ask several times for cups and napkins. When we finally received the napkins they were dirty, like something was spilled on them. Gross. The bees were out of this world, there was no one that came to clean up after the party next to us, so that made the bees multiply with the leftover drink pitchers. The garbage wasn't changed not one time while we were there. It felt chaotic and poorly ran. For spending $300+ I expected a little more organization. This party "pavilion" shouldn't be allowed to even host parties, because the service is awful. It's being ran by a bunch of teenagers that don't have the maturity to do so. read more

Little bit of a long story but it's worth it to read. My girlfriend, her friend and I drove 3hrs down to Charlotte for a concert for my girlfriends birthday , that we found out was cancelled apon arrival for stupid reasons (besides the point), obviously we had no plans at that point so we ventured over to the Speedpark where we met Spencer. This is one of the best interactions I can honestly say I have ever had with a staff member of a place. He was very accommodating and nice which is hard to find anymore. His reactions and conversing with us honestly was able to cheer us up, not to mention the go karts, and he really kinda saved our day. In addition the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and made our experience here very pleasant and great. I love this little bit of fun and entertainment in the back of concord mills called the speedpark. It's not big and not very fancy but it has 2 of my kiddos favorite activities: Bungie jumping and go carts! And better yet it has a small race track with tiny go carts that kids as young as 4 can drive on their own! There is also mini golf and a climbing tower and a super tall slide and some arcade games. But, our favorite thing to do is ride the go carts. The last time we visited it was not very busy so they let us ride till our hiney got sore (lol). The kids who work at the park operating the rides are always very nice and respectful. There's not much of a variety of food, just popcorn and soda mostly. Don't threat the mall is a stones throw away so you can go to the food cort afterwards for lunch or dinner. If you're expecting a mini theme park with lots to do you will be disappointed. If you are looking to have a little fun and let the wind rush past your face while you zip around the track in a go cart, then this is the place for you! read more

The garbage entertainment they offer is not worth the price of admission let alone the risk to personal injury. Save your money and avoid this place at ALL cost! I want to give 0 stars! So many bad things to say but the most important is the lack of authority and regulation enforcement by staff. This place (along with the rides) is supervised by kids. No one seemed to be over 20 years old. My family and I purchased day pass wrist bands costing over $130 and our visit was cut short due to reckless behavior being ignored by the staff. My wife was injured because one reckless teenager was allowed to repeatedly ride the karts and slam into everyone as hard as he wanted. When I respectfully confronted staff to address the issues they hesitantly said he would not be allowed back on... the teens guardian came and refused to acknowledge the hazard and the teens responsibility stating "he was just a kid and trying to hit his sister"... as I explained to her and staff he was old enough to know better and the injury he could cause is the main issues and it needed to be addressed. No sooner did I walk away and the teen and his family was allowed to get back on the rides. So I went to a manager and explained the situation and said my family and I would be leaving and asked for a refund if they were gonna be allowed to stay and jeopardize other guests well being. He informed me that he would speak to the other workers at the end of the night about the incident and that all he could offer me was a rain check... I explained that I live 4 hours a way and that a rain check would do me no good. I explained that it was a shame that we would have to leave to avoid a conflict rather than they do their jobs and ask the responsible party who caused the incident to please leave as is clearly stated in their rules and regulation.... DONT waste your money on the UNLIMITED .It took an hour of waiting to ride for 5 minutes and it wasnt because of a lot of people, there were 5-10 people in front us at any time. Worthwhile if you love go karting. Mediocre cash grab otherwise. Also, only portapotties on site. Staff are unmotivated and unhappy. It looks like a state fair style amusement park made a little more permanent by the tracks but everything could really be packed up in a night and disappear. Based on the staffing and attractions, there's a reason. My child climbed in their spider web tower which was completely unstaffed and unsupervised. The main problem was that a rush of kids decided to all go in and they're just falling and stepping on the kids at the bottom level. Plus, just watching my kid climb I noticed the whole structure reeked of sweat and body odor. It's basically elastic straps all the way up a steel structure. I think it's only cleaned by rain water. The go karts looked good. They had 4 tracks going but one was for small kids. All the staff looked unhappy and just waiting until they could clock out. The speed slide was not fast at all. Really the only reason to go is for unlimited go kart driving but like I said, you have to really want that. Not safe for smaller children under 8 in my opinion and a waste of money. What fun place for the kids to play outdoors! I took my kids here right after the aquarium from the mall. They had go carts, huge slides, mini arcade section, trampoline and mini golf! Not worth the money..... The staff had terrible customer service and looked like they hated their jobs and didn't want to be there. As an avid go-karter, these go-karts SUCKED!!!! I didn't even want to go a second time.... It just wasn't worth it. Safety definitely wasn't priority here. I've never been to a go-kart track where they didn't check seatbelts! This place is amazing! We were visiting from Los Angeles with our cross country team and everyone (adults and kids) had a great time on the go-karts, mini golf, and other games. And the price for the unlimited is definitely worth every penny. What's more... Christina was super helpful in locating my son's lost hat and even mailed it back to us in Los Angeles! I had some friends come in from out of town and try to get me to go here. They sent me a link to the website saying "Go Karting on 4 amazing tracks". That's borderline fraud, I certainly didn't see 4 tracks, and none looked remotely amazing. I walked away and to the mall while everybody else did their thing. They all met up with me later saying it was a waste of cash, I laughed. This may be fun for small children, but if your an adult, do yourself a favor and go to the GoPro Motorplex. Lame...Lame...Lame If you're over 18 and you're not coming for the go-karts, don't waste your time. This place is crawling with little kids and the parents don't even try to mind them. Most of the activities are designed with kids in mind and this place is not nearly as large or fun-filled as it is advertised to be. I came on New Year's Day with my boyfriend and decided to give the "ice skating rink" (ha!) a try. The skates were in horrific shape and there was a slippery, muddy ramp (made of foam padding that they just threw haphazardly on the ground) that we had to climb (in skates!) before reaching the "rink". The rink was not only small, it was way past capacity in terms of the number of occupants. The ice looked as if it had not been resurfaced since the rink was opened for the season, and we never saw anyone come out to do so. No kidding, there were grooves at least a half inch deep in the ice; not safe for skating at all. There was no skate patrol or anyone else to ensure that people were skating safely. The smaller kids were falling and flailing and roughhousing on the ice (one almost kicked me in the leg with his skate!) and try as I might, I could not get away from this other kid who just insisted on throwing himself on the ice in front of me and seeing how far he could slide. I was so scared of running over his fingers or something that I finally just said "eff it" and got the hell off of that ice before somebody got maimed. The older kids were gathering the plentiful shaved ice that had accumulated on the unkempt rink and were making snowballs that they proceeded to throw at unsuspecting people riding by on the go-kart tracks nearby. Needless to say, to avoid beating the hell out of someone's hooligan, we decided to skip the go-karting and find a bar instead. read more

We evacuated our home because of hurricane Irma and we were looking for something fun to do to pass the day without hanging in the hotel room or indoor over chlorinated pool. We actually had a super fun day at Speedpark! My husband, myself and our twin 11 year old girls had a lot of fun racing on the gocart tracks. It is pricey, in my opinion, but we got our monies worth, or at least close to it. It was $35 for unlimited everything, all day. I honestly don't know how much a single ride is, but with the all inclusive wrist band, you can go on any of the tracks, play mini golf, do the fun slide thingie and the jumping trampoline. The jump thing is usually pricey on its own in other places, so that was nice it was included. We rode the carts a ton, and my girls tried out all the extras. The only thing we didn't do is the mini golf, so I can't comment on that... The biggest cons of this place- there are no restrooms. I saw one porta potty... so I walked in to the mall looking for a restroom. It was a few minutes walk from the speedway, so the potty break took about 15 mins time. That's kind of annoying. The other big negative is that, in my opinion, it's understaffed. The staff they do have are very kind and respectful, but there aren't enough of them to really monitor the guests behavior. There are signs everywhere that say no bumping, yet it seems more than half of the guests want to play crazy and try to get away with breaking the rules. People could legitimately get injured when people act so reckless. There should be more consequences when you break the rules. Grown adults were purposefully bumping into my 11 year old kids and trying to spin people. Not cool. Not cool at all. Over all, a fun day. read more

A party is relatively affordable. The kids had fun so that's good. But overall, the service was horrible and the party was not smooth at all. The drinks are served in pitchers and then there are giant cups that are too big for kids to hold. They give you a big bowl of popcorn and little tiny bags to put the popcorn in, but no scoop or any way to do it. It would make more sense if they made the popcorn bags before the party. When the whole party (14 kids) went back to pick up their golf clubs and balls, there was a giant line that moved super slow. When I asked if the birthday party could just grab their clubs (already paid for), they said we had to wait in the line. So, the whole birthday party group of 14 nine year olds and their parents had to stand in a line for 20 (TWENTY) minutes to get the clubs. That was ridiculous. Some kids in our party had to leave before the end of the party because that part took too long. Someone needs to streamline this process a little bit better. I'd even pay a little more money just to have it better. I wouldn't do this party again or recommend it to friends. It was fine but not great. read more

I took my 3 kids there 4-7-10 they had one small track for two kids could not take my 4 year old on any track all the video games were broken and no one could refund me money pretty sad. Staff was helpful but for the most part it was ok for 10+ they did have mini golf and a little area to climb for the kids it was ok. Should have a better discount for small children since they can ride one little circle. Defiantly need to improve for small children. read more

Let start by saying that this place deserves 1 star, but since we had a groupon and didn't have to stomach forking over the full price of $35 PER ADULT, I'll bump it up and give it two stars. It's located on the back side of Concord Mills Mall and in the parking lot. Very easy to spot. I'll just list out everything that happened in the order in which it happened. 1. We had a wristband that gave us access to both go-cart tracks and putt putt. We went on the smaller track first. All was great and well until we were returning out cars back to the starting line. A teenager decided to come in full speed without hitting the breaks and rammed into the back of everyone causing a ripple effect. My problem? She didn't say she was sorry as everyone was holding their necks and the workers didnt even say anything to her. She just got out and walked off like she was so cool for being a rebell. Staff....that is your responsiblity to regulate that. 2. Waited a little bit before going to the second track. Second track was a LOT faster. So around we go and all of a sudden 12 year olds and yonger come flying past me bumping me and cutting me off, being rude, crashing into each other and on and on. No respect for others and the RULES. NONE OF THE STAFF CALLED WARNINGS OR KICKED THEM OFF THE TRACK AS THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD. A little boy got injurded in the end. Two of the kids that were casuing all the wrecks finally wrecked and I shouted "that's what you get!" I couldn't help myself. I have no sympathy for people who don't respect people or the RULES. UGH. 3. took a break and went to play putt plutt. The course was old, the merking water filling the motes and canals were low and brown and the water features were broken. It was just not enjoyable. 4. Went back for one last ride on the faster track and the same thing happened. bumping, pushing, trying to make people crash. I was irritated. Staff memebers said "oh I didn't see that"...yeah ok .... I won't go back. This place needs to be overhauled. They don't care about safefty of others and frankly didn't care that I could have been seriously injured. My neck is still a little sore today. GRRR. Glad we didn't pay full price for this. I purchased a groupon for this place and recently visited with my son for day of fun....or so I thought. There are race cars for kids and adults, a slide, a cable jump, and a cage climber. I have a serious problem with wait times...We stood in line for the cable jump almost an hour and it wasn't crazy lines or anything it just took forever....the race cars for the kids had 6 cars on the track but for some reason they only allowed 2 cars to operate even though the other cars were working and the line was insane so another hour in that line....needless to say, this place is not worth the time or the discount. read more

Came here with intention of racing karts only, and overall satisfactory experience. Biggest complaint is that on all tracks, the max speed of each kart was very different. We were a group of five, including my son's first time on go karts, and there were always a couple of us with much slower max speed than everyone else. If real competition vs. just the experience is what you are after, try the more advanced types of facilities. Great place though for first time racers. No worries about safety, staff was observant. We were there early in AM so we could have the tracks pretty much to ourselves. $20 per person for 4 runs. I think we got to go a little longer than usual ( just a guess), so that made it doubly worth it. Would recommend for young teams and up. read more

The gokarts were fantastic. Courses were fun and karts were quick. Vending sucks. Machines broke, dont work. Have to go inside the mall to get a drink. The "office" has drinks in a display case, they dont sell any. Putt putt is old, rachet, greens are torn, course is ugly, the water aspect of it is moldy, filled with filth and algae and not running.
