She was so kind & encouraging which made the class a lot of fun. After yoga the staff is more than happy to take photos of you with the alpacas. You also get a bucket of food to feed them after the class is over. Alpaca yoga is only a couple of months a year but if you have the chance to do it, I highly recommend! You can also visit the alpacas and feed them for $10 which I'll definitely be back to do. They also have pumpkins and Christmas trees. Such a cool place to have in Greensboro!

It was an hour from Winston-Salem and a pretty scenic drive to the sanctuary. It is well signed so you know where to turn and go to park. The staff was friendly and once we checked in, we started exploring the animals. I got to pet so many exotic animals like kangaroos and alpacas. I really enjoyed petting the camel and cow. We did not pay extra to feed and play with the capybara's but I may do that in the future. Bring bug spray since you were in a wooded area with animals.

The interior features children play areas, weather ed, reptiles and more. Not to forget about the AQUARIUM (my favorite part), which gives visitors the opportunity to touch rays and sharks, see the penguins, awe at massive tank with a wide variety of fish, and don't forget the penguins and jellyfish! The exterior is like a mini zoo, it could easily take you an hour+ to visit the flamingos, monkeys, tigers, Pygmy hippos, wolves, red panda, petting zoo and more. They also have concessions inside and outside if you need a beverage or some snacks. Don't forget to end the day with a ride on the carousel! During the December/January holiday time, they also have a lighted exhibit outdoors that you can walk through with lighted sculptures, shows, and hot cocoa. Since the museum didn't compare favorably to the science museums I was accustomed to (Maryland Science Museum) nor the aquatic centers (Baltimore Aquatic Center), I decided to give it a pass. Instead I went to the Tanger Bicentennial Gardens (free) and so glad I did. It made me grateful for the Maryland Science Museum and the Baltimore Aquatic Center that I frequented with my children. Because of them my son was inspired to become an aerospace engineer - now in his first year in college. That said if it's all you have, it is what it is. I think the $21 ticket price is ridiculous. As I mentioned their increased ticket price of $7 for Museum for All doesn't compare at all to other participating museums around the US.
