Soooo many animals! The staff are welcoming. They offer a really nice military discount and drinks or anything really for sale is so fairly priced, not airport pricing. That alone was refreshing. The grounds are spacious enough for large groups or small to maneuver the park without it feeling crowded. We spent about 1.5 hrs here- toddler, parents, and baby approve! We could've stayed longer if it wasn't a buggy summer day. Pros- playground, shaded areas, bathrooms, clean, Tigers, pretty lake, nice staff, , animals are well cared for and can even be adopted.

it's been quite a while since we first visited this place, so decided it merited another visit... Again, we went first thing in the morning...and again, amazed with the immense number of big cats they had here! Can't even count the number of tigers (including white tigers, ligers, and ti-Liger) and lions they had!! They have all the big cats you could ever hope to see! Plus, some little ones, like the bobcat and lynx. We recognized the lone, white wolf, Luna...she was still there! Also, there were bears, gibbons, kangaroos, owls, a cockatoo, a white and a black swan, peacocks (even an albino one!), and more! This zoo is a tad more rustic than most zoos, but is laid out very nicely...and is very visitor-friendly! It's the most intense, up-close-and-personal zoo experience you can imagine. As always, it was sad seeing these majestic animals caged up...but supposedly, this is a sanctuary, so maybe a tad less?? One funny observance is that there were these 2 peacocks strutting about, flaunting their feathers (full regalia!) the whole time...trying to steal the attention from the big cats, I guess? If you love big cats, you'll love this place. If you haven't been yet, run over there ASAP...it's a Must-See!

Wow, this is a must do in North Carolina and is so much fun!! It's a hot day on 10/13/24 and most of the animals are seeking refuge from the heat. I love seeing lions and tigers and bears. The animals are close but far enough away to feel safe. The entrance fee is $10 and well worth it!!

Lots of sad looking animals in cages. The animals look well cared for but the park needs a lot of attention. Bravo to the owners for having an awareness park for these amazing creatures. T

Owners are nice. Love the new up close experience you get feeding the parakeets!!. Our kids really enjoyed their time feeling the peacocks. The place is small. Looks like they also host really cool birthday parties as one was happening while we were there. They could use some more updates inside the cages which is the reason I left off one star. Overall it was a good experience and perfect for a day close to home. We really enjoyed our time.

What a gem this place is! This was the highlight of my whole trip to North Carolina and WELL worth the money spent. If I'm not mistaken, it was about $15 per person which was a steal. The parking is free which is a MAJOR plus. I will say I wouldn't waste money getting food to feed the animals. I was thinking about it, decided against it and glad I did. I'm not exactly sure what you are feeding considering everywhere I looked had a "DO NOT FEED" sign. Regardless, there's more than just tigers. They have tigers, lions, birds, monkeys, and more. I got there about 30 mins after they opened. I was advised to come BEFORE 11am - although I was not told why. I'm so glad I did. I got to to see the staff members feeding all the animals. A lot of zoos will NOT show you this so this was definitely an experience. I honestly would come back to North Carolina just for this place. It was place was amazing, you can get up close and just have a good time.

This place is nice to visit, pretty big place. It has free parking so that's a plus. We went during the week so it was not crowded, although they did have a school group. Of course the main attraction are the big cats but they also had other animals. Peacocks were roaming free so that was nice to see. This place is for kids and adults.

We had a great time here! Parking available on site for free. Able to get really close up views of some amazing animals here. Several families were there with their children celebrating a birthday or to fill the time with family on the weekend. Enjoyed our visit. Only negative is that the bathrooms really needed a cleaning. Recommended if you are ever in town.

Super Fun they have a lot of Tigers. They pretty close to you but secured. There also pretty active depending the time you visit. Loved it !!!

Great place to spend the morning. With a toddler and baby, we spent about 1.5 hours there. Better than we expected. The animals looked well care for.

Took my son last week .. A lot of the animals were laying under the cause it was so hot out so didn't get to see everyone !! Kinda pricey but fun place for the kids.. even has a jungle gym for the kids. !!

Enjoyed a couple hours with the tigers & other animals. This isn't a zoo, they primarily focus on tigers & big cats, but do have other things like a bear, tortoises, monkeys, reptiles & birds. Ample free parking but not shaded. When at the gift shop / admission counter check on extras like feeding a tiger or getting peanuts to feed the birds - will save you having to walk back to get them later. We signed up to feed Star & it was fun. You do it via a pole so you aren't really that close, but very cool to be that close and hear the cat vocalizing. The staff is happy to talk to you and answer all your questions. If you have time, spring for 9 holes of mini-golf on the way out. Well done course and there are more animals back in there too. We even had a peacock decide to "play through" while we were there.

We love Tiger World. This is a must see visit for any cat lover! They offer animal encounters as well, and even have a mini golf area now!

We didn't get to do the train, as it was closed; but there was still so much to enjoy at the park. Me and my bestie brought our kids and they had a blast! We spent a solid 2-3 hrs there and had a great time. It's also very inexpensive!! Some things that I will say is that the bathrooms are not very clean and don't even work but it's an old place, so that's to be expected and we're not there to use the restroom, we're there to play! Bring cash for extra things, like carousel, barnyard, animal exhibits, etc...sometimes their card reader doesn't work and they can only accept cash. There's even a cute place to shop where you purchase tickets for everything with toys and snacks inside! All in all, we had a great time! Keep in mind this place is old, but it definitely still has charm, and stands out against the other parks around. The animal exhibits, including the barnyard petting activity is a hit or miss, because this place is not a zoo. The animals have plenty of room to hide and/or roam to get space, which is a great thing!!! But some people might be upset after paying and not really being able to see the animals. Highly recommend!!! Go if you haven't!!!!

Of course their big attraction is the drive thru animal park which you take your own car along a dirt trail and can feed (if you choose) various animals. The price for this place will not break the bank. A couple of observations to improve: 1) It needs to be maintained more... some of the exhibits just feel like add-ons on top of add-ons and it feels dated. 2) A refresh and modernization to the walking trails would be good. 3) A proper cafe or even drink stations with covered seating would be nice. Something more than just random popup trailers. 4) A more permanent (possibly lit) sign off highway 87 would be nice (if possible) Again this place is awesome, would come back!

They come and dart their heads in to get food. Also, the llamas and alpacas will follow your car if they want more food. Hilarious. We repeated to ourselves several times not to feed the donkey and the zebras, as they can bite! We actually drove through the whole thing twice, and I'm really glad we did. More and more animals came to our car the second time around. There are camels that are feet taller than our car. We were able to feed and interact with some more huge gentle giants and also learned to roll the windows up if an ostrich was running towards us! The walk-through portion is fun as well, we fed some barnyard animals and even pet a kangaroo! The big, exciting part for me though was when we got to feed carrots to the giraffes. They are so huge but so docile and they take the carrots with their tongues. This was really a fun experience, with us even putting the carrots in our mouths for them to give us "kisses". All the staff members are friendly and helpful, the areas are well kept and the animals seem to be well cared for. The price is $15 to enter, and that includes the drive through and walk through, you get a wrist band so you can go to each as many times in your visit that you want to. The cups of feed are $3 each the first time, and then an additional dollar for refills. The giftshop was cute with lots of fun stuff to purchase. There is also a food vendor there on site with some yummy foods, and an area with picnic tables to enjoy a nice lunch. This was a great time, and I will recommend to anyone in Fayetteville or surrounding areas!

It's a sanctuary with a focus on the animals' well-being where the residents get to live out their lives with genuine dignity in a safe, caring environment. If you are looking for a typical zoo experience where you can show up without planning ahead and gawk at caged animals for entertainment, this isn't the place for you -- and that is exactly why I love it. What makes it special to me is the meaningful mission and intimate guided walking tours of 10-15 participants led by dedicated, knowledgeable volunteers that last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. You aren't just looking at animals, you're meeting survivors. Most of the residents -- from lions and tigers to wolves and lemurs -- come from difficult backgrounds or private owners who couldn't care for them. If you're lucky, you'll hear the lions vocalizing -- a deep, rhythmic sound the staff calls "oofing." It literally vibrates in your chest and is something I'll never forget. PRO TIP #1: Reservations are a must. Because it's a wildlife sanctuary, you have to take a guided walking tour led by volunteer guides that share the individual backstories of the animals and answer (or find someone on staff who can answer) any questions you may have, which makes the experience so much more impactful than a self-guided walk. Limited weekend-only hours and required reservations mean you have to plan ahead due to volunteers' availability. PRO TIP #2: The habitats are designed for the residents' comfort and enrichment, not for yours. Expect unpaved gravel and dirt paths, so wear mud-friendly shoes or rain boots if it's been raining.
