A lil context, I was looking for something to do solo and came across a "pick your own flowers" farm. But I found more than flowers. They had fields of berries, greens, honey from their hives and a selection of beautiful wildflowers. When I arrived there was a good number of moms with kids roaming the fields while pushing strollers and wagons. When I checked in they supplied me with a bucket for berries and told me which fields were open for picking. The flowers are per stem or fill a cup for $20. I filled my bucket which took about 30 minutes roaming 2 fields. The cost was a lot more than I would spend at the grocery store but now often do you get to make homemade strawberry preserves with berries you picked yourself?

We went for the u-pick blueberries and stayed to play with all their animals!!! Young family just starting out and make you feel like home as soon as you get out of the car! Candice and Brandon loved interacting with our little ones, 2 4 and 6 years old. Showing them the chickens, turtles and pig! They've got a couple beautiful dogs and even a deer on their property that roams around. The blueberries are organic, they don't use pesticides or anything and they were PLENTIFUL! They said they should have plenty of berries to pick thru next week so if you are visiting for the 4th of July or local, it's definitely worth the drive!!! We got a huge bucket for $25 and everything else is just them being a wonderful Christian family!

We came to the pumpkin patch! They have a large parking lot and it was easy to find…read more It's a $3 fee for everyone above 2 years old and you need a reservation. Although, it was easy to make a reservation and there were a lot of time slots to choose from. This included seeing the animals (goats, pigs and bunnies), walking in the flower fields (a sunflower field and colorful flowers), the playground and taking photos. The playground really was not much and I think older kids would've gotten bored easily. For an extra fee, there is a corn pit to play in, a wagon ride and a train ride for kids. We did not do these. There wasn't a ton of places for photo ops, but there were some. They have a shop with goods for sale as well as some snacks and drinks like apple cider, slushies, apple cider donuts, alcohol, etc. We went the weekend after Halloween, so there weren't many pumpkins to see/choose from, but if we went earlier in the season I'm guessing there would have been. On the opposite side of the property, there was a Thai restaurant and a shop that served ice cream and alcohol. There were plenty of picnic tables and even a couple TV's showing football. This was a bit of a walk to get to, though. They also have pizza which you have to order ahead of time with your reservation if interested, but I've heard great things about the pizza. Keep in mind it is only porta johns, like many pumpkin patches. All in all, not my favorite pumpkin patch in the area, I questioned why we needed a reservation and to pay, it really didn't include much, but I'm wondering if we would've had a different experience if we went earlier in the season.

The Their prices cannot be beat, $8 for an entire GALLON of strawberries! Their friendliness, hospitality, and great produce have made us a customer for life.

Before moving to NC I had no clue they existed.. man was I missing out. The place is easy to pass (I'm guilty of driving by it.. lol) since it is in the back of a residence so look out for the signs! Wow, what a great place to pick these delicious grapes! The grapes are so juicy and have so much…read morenatural sweetness to them and I've become so addicted. I've never been so excited to talk about any fruit and I would have to say it's my top favorite. I am from PA and we usually do not have these types of grapes. This is my second time here in a less than 2 weeks (because I ate so much and actually run out of the 1 gallon grapes that I picked the week before). There are about 3-4 acres of land for you to hand pick and to me, it's a pretty relaxing environment. They provide you with either a $5 half-gallon bucket or a $10 gallon bucket for you to pick your grapes in. They also provide bug repellent and hand sanitizers for you to use. One of the owners, Andrew, is super nice and thoughtful. He provided us with cold water after we got done picking grapes in 90 degrees weather. He also gave us a history of this vineyard which was past down from his grandparents. This is such a hidden gem and I would definitely come back and I recommend this to everyone.
