Usually my go to theater when in the area! This is much much better than Swamp Fox( prices & cleanliness ). You can have a cheap movie date at $6 or $8 plus concessions of $6-$12. You can't beat that. Staff was friendly. Nacho cheese is super spicy but good. The surround sound is VERY VERY loud so beware. read more

Finally made it to Julia 4, located at 1110 S Irby St. Prices are affordable at $8 evening showing adult. Concessions were lower priced than AMC or Regal noted in pic. There are only 4 theatre arenas but it's fine. The seats are not reclinable but comfortable enough. Sound system is fair; I did notice the screen the movie is projected onto was scratched which can draw your attention away, this was theatre 3. The parking lot is set up in very unusual patterns but these oddities are quite common in Florence. There is outdoor music blasting making this popular for young folk. Choose this theatre not Swamp Fox. read more

$7 for an adult ticket. That's like 1990s pricing. This cinema only 4 screens. So limited viewing choices. But that's ok. It feels like a trip bad in time. The concession stand is reasonably priced and you can actually afford snacks with out selling an organ . The outside has a true vintage look and is well lit. Huge parkinglot. The seats are a leather vinyl combo (easily wiped). Aisles are large. The arms don't move but the seats are comfy. The lobby is small, they offer all the usual concessions. Cute little cinema. When in Florence...check em out. You won't be sorry and neither will your wallet. It's so nice to be able to patronize a small business like this. read more

Florence offers two theaters. This one, at $6 a ticket, is far superior to the other. Always clean, great prices, friendly & helpful staff. The seating is quite comfortable. You absolutely can not beat the prices for new releases. They don't always have every movie I'd like to see; that's the only drawback for me. read more

The floors are sticky and the seats are old and a bit small but for the price this place is great. They have 4 dollar matinees on new movies which is a great deal. I went to see Clash of the Titans here and my one complaint is that the other people in the theater weren't considerate of others around them. I guess because it's the cheap theater people thought it would be acceptable to bring an infant and allow it to cry during the movie or that it's alright to talk loudly throughout the whole thing. I can't fault the actual theater for that, it's just that there happened to be stupid people there the day I went. Would I go there again? Absolutely. read more

I love this small cinema. They only have 4 screens, but they are always playing the newest flicks out. On top of that movies only run $7for adults which is much cheaper than other cinemas in town. The only complaint I'd have is that the concession stand is on the smaller side, which is expected with a smaller theater. I love this theater. They offer top run movies at discounted prices and have new comfortable seats with clean theaters and restrooms and lobby. The staff is very polite and professional and once recently I thought I had lost some keys in one of the theaters and the manager not only looked himself but allowed me and went with me to look a second time. He was polite and very accommodating and took my number if the keys ever turned up. His staff was made aware also. This is true customer service. We are fairly new to Florence and had only attended the big movie complex in town. Imagine our pleasant surprise when we took our two grandchildren to the Julia. Classic movie theater at classic prices. I am so happy that Florence has a reasonable price theater. There are only four screens so beggars can't be choosers. But compared to the prices you pay at he cross town theater, it can't be beat. Concessions are reasonable, and good quality. Parking is ample also. The lighting is terrible!!! The movie theater would be so much better if they turned down the lights. You can barely even watch the movie because the lights are so bright. I totally recommend Swamp Fox over this. read more

The prices are great.The bad thing that I notice is the staff handle money and run the register and fix popcorn without wearing gloves or washing hands. They also put the popcorn scooper that everyone use right back in the popcorn. Very unsanitary. read more

My family and I have been going to Julia for years and this past Friday my brother and cousins went to see a movie and was harassed the entire time they were there. After they were told to put their phones up the movie guy still felt the need to harass and antagonize them along with others that were of different race than him. I won't be going back there anymore that behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. read more
